I have been living in the area for 5 or 6 years. This is my first visit to here, and I wish I had come and tried way earlier. The burgers are delicious with HUGE high quality Patties. The price is great for the burgers they offer. It is like, you are paying at a five-guys price for a 1.5x delicious and size of five-guys burger. I will come back often.

Great comfort food with great price. Service was excellent! No wonder this place was so highly rated. The food was great! I ordered some chicken wings for takeout and they were delicious. I would definitely try their signature burgers next time if I’m near the neighborhood. The cashier was an old guy in his 50s who is super friendly and kind! I have been to quite a few restaurants all over the world and who would have thought the best service I have received was at this burger joint in a suburb of Chicago! It’s the unexpected well intended small gesture that usually makes a long last impression on someone. To whoever behind the counter today, you represented Chicago well and to that I say “thank you Sir!”

Burger texture was too hard. Sweet potato fries were mushy. Twenty minutes to get my order.

Let me start by saying how awesome the owner, Michael, of this place is! He is super nice and you can tell he loves what he does, you can tell by the warm welcome he gives as soon as you step inside this place! The food was so flavorful and the quantities are generous! We had the regular fries, sweet potato fries, veggie burger and the classic burger with bacon. We will definitely be back!

When fresh and hot off the grill, the burgers are absolutely delicious. The flavors are well balanced and the portions are a good size. The service consistently runs slower, even if they have four guys behind the counter, meaning you'll always have to wait at least 15 mins before getting your meal. Even if you order online, the order isn't started until you walk up and ask about it, which adds even more time. For those who mind, masks were worn improperly by 3/4 guys behind the counter and only 2/4 wore gloves. If you aren't in a hurry, go for it.

Great food choice. I ordered the gobble and added pepper jack cheese. The fries are home-cut and amazing.

Great burgers and I love sweet potato fries. You can get the fries with either sea salt or Cinnamon sugar 🤪 The service is also AMAZING. I am always treated so well when I dine here. I recommend either the "Dirty South" or the "Burger Point" 🔥

The gentleman at the counter was extremely helpful and friendly. The overall vibe of the place is inviting. They have a large selection of burgers, even an option to build your own. Various buns and cheeses to choose from. All of their beef is grass-fed. Even their chicken is without hormones. The clerk explained all of this to me. There's a small wait for your food, but well worth it. My burger was delicious and so were the fries. I highly recommend this Black Owned Business.

First time dining here yesterday and I will definitely be back. The service was great, all staff was friendly and the food was really good!! They have plenty of different types of specialty burgers to choose from along with building your own as well. In order for the place to be considered top tier, you have to have really good fries too!! Needless to say, the fresh cut fries were really good and they are not stingy with the portions either!! My only negative mark I would give for this visit, is I asked for my burger to be cooked medium and it was past well done. I'm sure it was just a mistake by the cook, because my friend asked for medium and his was cooked properly. All in all, great place with excellent options, food and customer service!!

Came here on a Friday night. Not the best atmosphere (a bunch of teenagers were blazing explicit music from their phone), but the food is really good. We got the crunchy burger and the new American classic,along with regular and sweet potato fries. Everything was fresh and delicious! Highly recommend the sweet potato fries/ they’re a little oily but good.

I was craving a burger today and decided to try this place. There are many burgers to choose from. I went with the crunchy burger, which had homemade potato chips and French onion dip sauce. It was an interesting concept and I really enjoyed it! I also ordered the sweet potato fries with cinnamon and sugar. Very good! You can also get them with just sea salt. The chili is savory with a little kick. Really tasty. I also tried a chicken wing, and I enjoyed the breading of the wing. I'd definitely like to try more next time. The customer service was outstanding! I felt like a personal guest rather than just a customer. The person behind the counter was genuinely kind and courteous. Great food and service!

We were at a volleyball tournament at McCormick place and went here for dinner. Small amazing gem of a place! The owner and workers are incredibly genuine! Went there with a 1yr old and they even had highchairs! Now for the food. We all got something different. From burgers/chicken to the fries, perfectly executed! Thank you for a wonderful experience and the gourmet food!

I'm a first time visitor to Chicago so I wanted to sample all the local cuisine. One thing I hadn't had yet was a Chicago style hot dog. That's exactly what I got from.... a burger joint. I know I know, sounds dumb but it was delicious. The sweet potato fries were also very good. Mostly though, the service was fantastic. What a friendly staff. You couldn't ask for better representatives for your city. Go to The Burger Point, you won't be disappointed!

I went to the Burger Point on Saturday night for dinner. The atmosphere was cozy and laid back, and the cashier was really kind and even warned me that I shouldn't order the large size of sweet potato fries because it would be too much for one person and he was right, even the small order was huge. I got the Mick Dodge salmon burger and sweet potato fries with cinnamon sugar dusting and it was SO DELICIOUS I'm definitely going back to get it again. I love places like this where the food is really good *and* they're generous with the portions. Even when my order was ready and I picked it up, the employee who gave it to me was very sweet. I'll be going back soon!!

Customer service experience some of the best in the City and the burgers were excellent and reasonably priced. Would recommend anyone looking to get burgers to try this place out!

Came from another state to try them. They are great! The burgers were amazing . We got the classic and the pretzel bun. Good service and the owner was very friendly. He knows how to handle customer service. I observed him striking a conversation with a few customers. The 1-on-1 relationship is very important and he knows it too.

I got the Saigon Jonny. That chicken burger was easily one of the top burgers I have ever had in my life! You taste all the ingredients and nothing gets left out. This place is a 10 out of 5. I would recommend to anyone going here to get a number 18! You won’t regret it!

Had a blue harvest burger double with fries, absolitely amazing. The blue cheese is actually sharp and funky as it should be. Fries looked like they were a whole potato 20 minutes prior. 10/10 would reccommend.

We decided to go here on a whim because the burgers sounded good and it was well worth it. The staff/ owner were super nice and helpful and the food was great. We all got different things (dirty south, gob-father, and classic) and all were super satisfied. The ingredients a super yummy and worked well together. The fries were also delicious. If you are in the city and want to stop somewhere for a good burger for a good price, check it out!

The majority reviews of this restaurant were so good I had to see for myself, as I love a good burger. Just on the southern outskirt of downtown Chicago, located at 1900 South State Street, "The Burger Point" did not disappoint. We were a party of 10. Everyone ordered something different, from the variety of burgers and wings options, and everyone loved their meal. I had the Build Your Own Burger. ALL of their burgers are made with grass-fed beef. I built my own burger with lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, Swiss cheese, pickles and bourbon mushrooms. I enjoyed it with a side of truffle salt fries. I also asked for a sample of their Asian wings. Everything was delicious.

Burger Point never disappoints! This place is definitely a favorite and will make anyone vegan, meat eater, etc. happy with all their top notch choices! Everything on the menu is good and the customer service is amazing too! Came in today and fell in love with the Veggie Burger! Love love love the sweet potato fries too!

#4 Burger Point Burger was ok. Condiments brought it together for the most part but this type of burger won't have any special sauces on it. The Burger Meat itself was nothing special. Just your typical taste of Burger meat. No special seasonings or anything in particular that would make this Burger stand out. But I enjoyed the peppers. The fries are great and you get a big amount so choose carefully on the size of fries you get. The small is more that enough for one person.

I only had the hot dog but it was a superb experience, at least the meats quality was the best I had in the city. however not much toppings and the wait time is really damn long. would definitely come back to try out some of the burgers on their massive list

The staff is great! Since I'm vegan I love the Build your own veggie burger. They have a nice selection of toppings to choose from. Love the sweet potato fries & the special sauce.

My most recent order was through Grubhub. The food never arrived. I reported it to Grubhub. Half an hour later I got a very apologetic call from the owner. Apparently their machine got jammed and my order never got printed. Michael, the owner, called me on his personal cell phone and offered to send my order free of charge upon request. I never took him up on his offer because with this pandemic times are hard for restaurants but I really appreciated him following up. The burgers here are excellent. I've ordered several times. I love that you can get any one of the options as a turkey or chicken burger as well. The fries are SO good and giant sized. We usually have several leftover which we incorporate into breakfast burritos the next day. 5 yummy stars.

I used to give it 5 stars. Everything was perfectly cooked and the different versions of burgers were awesome.. Food was prompt, especially if you ordered online and came to pick up.. Recently it's changed though. All of the medium burgers come out well done, and eand even if you place an order and pay online and come 15 minutes later, you still have to wait 15 additional minutes to get your food and hope that it's right. Customer service is great though. The owners are awesome, I think they're just overwhelmed though. The food though, if you get one of those burgers like they say it's bomb. The sweet potato fries... love them!

I was very disappointed with my order. I'm allergic to avocado. So i asked the man at the register to not put it on my veggie burger. I didn't know the burger was only a flat potato with pieces of avocado in it. It didn't look nothing like the advertising. Also i asked for sweet potato fries with cinnamon. To add to my disappointment someone thought it was okay to put salt and pepper with cinnamon and sugar on the fries. I threw the whole meal away. I started to go back get a refund but i decided not to waste my time. This was my first time ever going and it's my last.

First time trying this place. I called about 20 times trying to place and order but went straight to voicemail. Apparently they were super busy and lines were tied up. I ordered 2 burgers/fries and a chili. Took about 25min for my order to be ready but they were swamped with orders. Definitely a popular place. Chili was really good, would definitely get again. The burgers were also really good, great flavor, the fries were natural and fresh. Honestly it was all great, definitely worth a try and will be returning.

Best veggie burger in the US for sure, I can't claim in the world because well the world is a big place and it would be ridiculous to claim I've eaten a burger in every country, but I can claim every state. Service with a smile too, Would give 10 stars if I could. Sweet tater fries are amazing as well. They take pride in their work there. I also have had a few other burgers there as well that are phenomenal but can't think of the names.

100% recommend the classic burger on your first visit. It's made perfectly - cooked to the right temperature, right amounts of sauce, crispy bacon, not difficult to hold and eat and not too greasy.

One of the best burger places in Chicago. The menu items are varied and unique. They are always willing to accommodate changes to existing items, so you can always find a combination of things that suits your palette. The patty is almost always cooked to exactly the temperature I asked for. The staff is super friendly and will remember customers. This is the kind of place you take your friends to, if they are visiting from out of town, and want to go to the best burger place in the city.

Came after the bears game. I was HUNGRYYY Wanted the stuffed burger but it was a 30 minute wait per the menu. Ended up getting the BBQ bacon double burger, I was surprised and happy they asked how I wanted it cooked. I said medium rare of course. The burger came out 20 min later (not the stuffed) well done. Absolutely nothing but beef. Cold bun. Can't taste anything but beef. Will not come back. Maybe there wouldn't be 16 hungry, inpatient, foodless customers sitting around in the restaurant if this line chef took off the burgers earlier. No salt on the fries either. - my friend

Got the classic. Was very good. Nice order of fries and a little wait. 15 dollars for burger fry and drank. Isn't the worse but your in the city so. I'd go for it again
