This is our favorite place to get away to in town. We've stayed 4 times this year and plan to keep coming. The rates are very fair for all the amenities. It's cozy and comfortable. I love the decor. Modern, clean, in excellent repair, and well stocked. Warm and inviting lobby space with nooks for conversation or some laptop work. 5 star breakfast with tons of tasty choices. We always book the two room suite with our adult children. We pack a game system plus meals and snacks for the room and make a weekend of it. Attached photos are from 2 different stays. I have nothing but positive things to say about this place.

Highlights: Breakfast, pool, and employees. Stayed here on a work trip, and I absolutely would stay here again if I'm in the area! They checked absolutely every one of my boxes! The rooms were immaculately clean and comfortable, but the best part was the next day. The breakfast was incredible! They had your standard hotel breakfast items available (although presented much nicer and seemed higher quality), but they also had much more available including some dishes that change each day and those were just amazing! I only wish I'd thought to ask for the recipe for one of the dishes! The dining area is actually quite lovely. Very open and bright. There are many seating arrangements to choose from and there's a fireplace or a nice window seat area. Just a perfect way to start off any day. The pool was actually warm!! I love swimming but despise the cold plunge. This one, I could just walk straight into and feel comfortable. Even after sitting in the hot tub, the pool just felt luke warm instead of cold. I don't know the last time I enjoyed a pool more! I'd come back just for that alone! The employees were amazing. The ladies at the front desk were super friendly and helpful and the cleaning ladies agreed to let me have a late check out since my meetings had kept me so busy. I've stayed at a lot of hotels for business or personal travel, and this one is top on my list! I cannot recommend it strongly enough!

The hotel was a great location. I’m pretty realistic when leaving reviews. The people at the hotel were great, all the staff was beyond friendly. My biggest issue was that $150 a night I would expect a bit more of an updated and clean hotel. Our bathroom had mold growing on the ceiling in the bathroom. Corners of the building were dirty and the pool area burned your eyes walking in from so much chlorine. The sink in our bathroom had a big crack in it and the drawers in the dresser in our room wouldn’t stay shut.

The Guest Services we're very welcoming. Coming from out of state for surgery for my 9 year old. They where very Accommodating they even gave us an entire bag of Ice for him so we could make Ice packs. The rooms are extremely clean the housekeeping was also helpful. The breakfast was hot food like waffles, sausage & eggs that was good and helpful when you're on A budget for Travel. The location is great target is right across the street. You have tons of restaurants you'll love it if you're A foodie especially. The indoor pool is huge! It was so enjoyable and warm. They also have A cool basketball court. There very family friendly and pet friendly. I highly recommend this location for any Travel reason.

If I could give this place to zero stars, I would. I used MY card with MY name that matches MY i.d.... and they kicked me, a 105 lb 4 ft 9 girl out on the side of the highway by herself with all six of her suitcases. Because they said my card was fraudulent. It wasn't fraudulent the first two days that I stayed here, and then they decide that it suddenly is in the middle of the day at 5:00 p.m.? And then threatened to call the police on me if I didn't hurry up and get off of the property, and I didn't even have a car. I came here on foot. FAWK this place deadazz

This Hotel is awesome. I travel for work. As a result I stay in a lot of Hotels. This one is top on my list. The people who work here are so great. Everyone at the front desk is so helpful especially, Renee, Alex & Dani. They all go above & beyond to make your stay is a good one. One morning I was a little bit late for breakfast. They were shutting it down. But one of the gals cleaning up noticed me & she made sure I at least got a bagel with some cream cheese. I was so grateful. My TV had issues on one of my stays so they sent Eric, the maintenance guy. He was awesome. He had to call the cable company to fix it & he was so patient & just really nice. I love the kitchen. Full size refrigerator, stove, & fully stocked with utensils, dishes, and pans. The rooms are always very clean. I highly recommend this Hotel especially if you have a long stay.

I was a bit disappointed with this stay. Hotel staff was friendly and the faculty is not outdated but our room was not cleaned well. All the air vents were heavily dusty, a lot of crumbs and dirt swept under the edge of our kitchenette cabinets, bathtub had soap scum in all corners and our room smelled like someone’s Asian left overs when we walked in. Breakfast was mediocre overall (waffles were awesome) but it’s a “free” breakfast so what do you expect. The ladies managing breakfast were nice and very helpful. The pool was okay for a short time but was over chlorinated causing our eyes to burn while sitting in the pool room. Our kids had fun and we had plenty of space. I may look somewhere else in the future.

Pretty nice rooms. I loved that there is a decently equipped kitchen in your room. The exercise room was functional and the pool was very good. I probably had the most fun of my stay at that swimming pool. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

I didn't take a lot of pics of our room, just our little kitchen area. We also had a sort of living room which was nice. We picked this because it's right across the street from the Hale Center Theater and it actually made that aspect of our trip super easy! No finding a parking place! The trip back was slightly more concerning as everyone was exiting the theater and trying to cross that little road was a little bit more dicey but still very doable (you just need to use common sense and not dart in front of moving vehicles, some vehicles may be turning so you just need some awareness of what's going on around you). The staff was all super nice, and our room was comfortable. The only trouble was the room was pretty warm and took a while to cool at night, but it wasn't a deal breaker by any means. If we were staying another night we'd probably get the thermostat turned down a little earlier. I think the location is really good. Close to a lot of things, especially if you're not looking to stay in actual Salt Lake City. Salt Lake is super close, but other attractions like the aquarium are also very close. Ocean Mart is just down the street if you need to do some Asian shopping before heading home. This may very well become our hub for any future shows we see at Hale Center Theater!

This stay at the Residence Inn was excellent and on par with my stays at other Marriott hotels. Some distinguishing parts of this visit is that my room had a full kitchen suite in it (which I did not expect but was presently surprised by). In addition the room was spacious and my room (1 king bed) came with a fold out second bed which could have made the room easily fit 4 people sleeping (2 per bed). It also had a business desk which, while not an executive suite, definitely was distinctly nicer than my experience at other hotels, including plenty of desk space. The linens, and towels were clean and comfortable. And the front desk was very helpful both with regular requests and with some special requests. All in all it was an excellent experience. Will stay again next time I'm in Salt Lake.

We chose to stay here when we had an emergency situation with our house. The rooms were as clean as a 5 star hotel. The location is ideal to stores, restaurants, and the freeway. The staff was amazing with my kids. My daughter is autistic and thanks to the staff making her feel so welcome and comfortable she didn’t struggle with the change of environment at all. I want to specifically note Carman as she really went above and beyond with my daughter everyday. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We have stayed at the Residence Inn in Sandy, UT twice and loved both experiences. We checked in late on July 3, 2023. John was very friendly and accommodating. He honored my Marriott Bonvoy Titanium status and gave us a room upgrade. The room was nice and clean. The breakfast team was outstanding, talking to guests and making sure all of us had what we needed for breakfast. The staff here had amazing customer service!!

We stayed here for over a week while adopting our son. The rooms were nice, the breakfast was great, but it's the staff that stood out. They were so kind, a front desk woman gave us a gift for our new son, and the breakfast attendants were the sweetest (they even fed our son multiple times so I could eat my own breakfast). Highly recommend this hotel, and thank you to the staff for making us feel so supported during our stay.

Amazing place. Felt like family. They all went above and beyond to take care of me! Jen, Sandra, Alex, Dani, Renee, were each so amazing. The breakfast crew was kind and a welcome way to wake up.

As a last minute, overnight get away, we were pleasantly surprised by how quant the room was. More like studio apartments with all the amenities included. Front desk personnel was friendly and efficient. The most important thing to me though, is cleanliness and I was very satisfied with their standards. Thank you for a nice stay. Quite a drive from Tooele.

I wanted to write this review as a shout-out to the staff. Specifically, staff that was working breakfast on Sunday Aug 20. They were very helpful, cheerful, and friendly. It really felt like they wanted to have us there. I've never experienced such good service at a hotel breakfast or any restaurant for that matter.

We loved our stay here. The staff was very accommodating, our room was clean upon arrival and the breakfast was great. The beds could be better as far as comfortability but overall we enjoyed our stay.

I can not say enough good things about this hotel and the staff! I stayed here for about a month when my dad got a kidney transplant, and it was the perfect place for him to recover until he could go home. Sandra, one of the managers gave us an accessible room, with a full kitchen and two king beds on the first floor with all the accommodations my dad needed after surgery at such a reasonable price for a months stay. The hotel is so quiet, and the location is perfect, so close to everything! 15 minutes from Intermountain hospital. They also have a laundry room with inexpensive washers and dryers. All of the staff was amazing, so accommodating and kind! Sandra, Maria, Jessie, and Alex specifically! I can’t imagine what it would’ve been like it we had stayed anywhere else.

Loved the location right next to the Hale Theater! Lots of restaurants a short drive away. Room was comfortable and well appointed. Some things getting a little old, but nothing major.

Amazing staff and experience! We stayed for 6 nights to ski and the place felt like home. Everyone was very accommodating and we even got a room upgrade.. the. Rooms are slightly out dated but the location to the ski slopes (30 minutes drive to alta/snowbird) is totally worth it.

Beds could be more comfortable but you couldn’t hear anything from the traffics driving by. Great service. Kids enjoyed the heated pool and basketball court.

Kind of a run-down building. The staff seemed friendly and helpful enough. Front desk attendants answered questions with good directions. I did ask for towels to be brought to my room though and few hours later had to actually phone the front desk when none were brought as told they would. The room was spacious but there was a lot of old feel to things even the bed was uncomfortably old.. a king bed that felt like there was a bar across it like a hide-a-bed. I had two windows that looked out to a corridor with ladders leaned upright against the adjacent wall. The continental breakfast was nice, and food was well stocked but tables needed to be serviced (cleaned) a couple of the mornings but I didn't see anybody going around and cleaning them.

I was only visiting someone. It’s close to public transit which is great. The rooms or suites seem decent for the price. My freind has a little kitchen and living room and then two queens and a master-ish bath in separate room. Staff was professional and nice.
