When I chose this hospital for my delivery, many people flew to me and said that the doctors are directly appointing patients to cesarean, not waiting for normal delivery. Most of them suggested to change the hospital. But I trusted God and the doctors and continued consulting Dr Sashikala. Unfortunately I got c section . They take good care of me and my baby. And I'm happily discharged from the hospital. The whole team Akshaya including security staffs are very supportive.

Pregnancy is not a single day journey. A journey which takes u step by step and prepare emotionally and mentally. From first visit to delivery day, we never felt that we were going to some clinic or Hospital. It's a very homely Place. Dr. Sashikala mam is not just a gyne but a goddess. Giving birth to a baby is one of the greatest joys in human life and it is wonderful to have it in the most peaceful environment. Such is the experience we got from Akshaya Hospital and its doctor Sasikala madam and the team. Most of the people come to give birth with a mental prayer that the birth will be normal, and when my wife ( Akshara Krishna )started having labor pains at 3:30 in the morning, we also came to the hospital with the same thought. I was diagnosed with bilateral ovarian dermoid cyst. One was actually 7.2cm and the other was actually 5.9 cm at that time I was residing in the UAE. When I have consulted in Dubai, I have got multiple opinions and I got confused what further needs to be done. I have consulted a senior Gynecologist in another hospital in Ernakulam and she told about the open procedure laparotomy for taking the cysts. By god's grace at that time I came to know about Dr. Akshay V Prabhu through his Facebook page. I have done an online video consultation and he explained all the pros and cons of bilateral ovarian cystectomy and he was very confident that he can take it through the laparoscopic route. The good thing about Dr Akshay V Prabhu is he always walks an extra mile to make us feel better.We reached kochi on Saturday and we met the doctor. He asked me to do some blood investigations and the surgery was scheduled on Monday. The surgery is successful and he took the cysts without rupture and spillage through laparoscopy and I am back to normal life within one week. The nurses working in Akshaya hospital are highly commendable by their dedication. I even remember Nurse Anjali who was with me throughout my post operative period who is really polite and happy to satisfy my needs. I am also thankful to Dr Radha Krishnan who was there during my surgery. I got one to one care in this hospital and it's highly economical as well when compared with other hospitals in kochi.Their follow up care is also too good. Hi everybody, after learning that my wife was expecting, we began going to Akshaya Hospital. Dr. Shiskala Prabhu gave safe medications up till the conclusion of pregnancy, and there were no issues at all. In August 2022, we received a Baby Boy, and Dr. Sashikala Prabhu performed the surgery. Following delivery, we stayed in the hospital for three days, during which time the nurses, in particular Joomol and Athira, provided excellent care. The cleaning crew did an excellent job keeping our room tidy and regularly cleaning it. A special thank you to Dr. Poulose, who is a superb pediatrician. In general, we endorse the Hospital. We are grateful.

Usually you feel safe when you see your doctor but here you feel safer from security to reception, nurses, pharmacy staffs and last but not the least doctors.... I went to Akshaya hospital for laparoscopy. Dr Akshay was very professonal in his conduct and explained everything clearly. The nursing staff who attended to me were really good and reassuring. Even the Anaesthesiologist was kind. He calmed me down when i was in a state of nerves .The lady at the Insurance desk was helpful. Overall i had a very pleasant experience.

I recently went there for vaccination of my child . It was on Sunday and the paed which I consult my child was not there so I consulted Dr Smitha . Initially child weight was taken, and Dr advised for his regular vaccinations , but the kind of approach she had was not good, she was in hurry that she just advised about the vaccination only, usually other paeds ask about child's developmental milestones and tells whether he is meeting it or not.

Everything at this hospital is great apart from the behavior of Dr.Sasikala. Please show some compassion towards patients.

We went to the hospital after checking the Google review. Staff is good but dr. Sasikala's talk was not ok for us and we were not comfortable. We went there after blood check and urine test. So it's confirmed that my wife is pregnant and dr sasikala is asking why did you come here. How can you say that she is pregnant by seeing this test result. Then she is asking if you want i will do a scan and tell. Then we told her to do the scan and then she is telling "ya she is 5 weeks pregnant." Please don't behave like this. pls don't make your customers panic. You will loose your them. I liked your hospital, staff but except your behaviour.
