Completely North Indian Food @ Kakkanadu. I had ordered the food from here a couple of times. And I was very satisfied with the quality and quantity that they serve. It is typical North Indian restaurant with variety of dishes. They even serve snacks like chats😍 This was a delightful find. We drove some 8kms from another part of the city to have authentic North Indian food. It was worth the drive ! Hot chapathi, Rajma, Dal, chawal and aloo sabzi. Just like homely food. Topped it off with a Gulab Jamun. Friend had a lemon tea and he loved it. Very nice food and clean place👍Rare north indian vegetarian option in and around Kakkanad. Seating capacity is less, not suitable for relaxed dining experience. Highly recommend this place. One of the best north Indian food joint in Kochi. It's a quick food joint, not luxury setup. Food is awesome, Great taste, cleanliness and value for money. Staffs are super friendly and happy to serve you.

This is hands down one of the best North Indian vegetarian restaurants in Kakkanad. The ‘regular tiffin special’ was such a great deal and the food was delicious. The palak paneer was my favorite, but the sabji and pulao were also really tasty. I also loved the lassi they served, it was the perfect accompaniment to the meal.

One of the best places around Kakkanad for North Indian food. Staff is super friendly and staff manager Rakesh always welcomes you with a warm smile. The only place where you might be able to get authentic North Indian Ginger tea.

Had a decently good thali meals and Pani poori on delivery through swiggy. The packing is so perfect that the food remained in tact and tasted great. A guaranteed place to quench your North Indian cravings. Price is pretty reasonable too.

Good selection of North Indian food items. A good place if you are looking for low budget dinners, because they provide half plate price for almost every itinerary in their many. Taste is decent

Good food, Good people, Good vibe We will get healthy foods here. Chapatti, Paratha, Rajma, Chole everything. The only thing is the Thali meals are little over priced. Over all good.

Food tastes good. They have a limited varieties of curries and they change some of em on a daily basis, which is a good thing. Dining space is small and it's close to the main rd, so one can hear all the traffic noise. They use generous amount of oil in their roti's, if u prefer a healthy option, better mention the same while placing the order.

This is a very authentic North Indian food spot, and it bears the closest resemblance to North Indian cuisine I've tried in Kochi so far. The pav bhaji and chole bhature are so good.

Small yet packs a punch. Best spot for North Indian Veg food in Kakkanad. The food quality is good. Chaat options also available. Best paav baaji I've had in Kochi till now. Doesn't have much inside. Parking is also limited.

North Indian food. pure vegetarian. I ordered Gobi paratha. they charged extra for curd!!!! vada paav was good. food has almost similar taste as we get in North India. Lassi was good but it was too cold to get full taste. ambience is fine for quick food. service is excellent. one lesson asked for feedback before giving the bill and patiently listened to what I said

Very rude manager who does not own responsibility of missing or wrong items in ordered food. Not even a bit apologetic. Taste of food is good but their trick is that they have reduced quantity of many items to half keeping the prices same.. just trying to fool customers.

For those fond of North Indian cuisine, this restaurant is a solid choice. The authentic taste of chapati, almost resembling its original flavor, makes it a go-to place. The innovative approach of placing a bell on each table for easy food ordering adds a nice touch to the dining experience – a practical and efficient idea. However, a notable inconvenience is the limited availability of hand wash taps, which might pose challenges during peak hours. On the bright side, the affordability of chapati, priced at just ₹8 each, is appealing, although the portion size is on the smaller side. If you're eager to explore a variety of North Indian dishes without burning a hole in your pocket, this restaurant is worth a visit. Just be prepared for the slight inconvenience with the hand wash tap and consider ordering a few extra chapatis to satisfy your appetite.

A good place to eat daily homely North Indian lunch. They have fixed menu options for different sabji and rice. Full plate thali meals are also available. Chats and snacks ain’t that great, yet have a touch of North Indian flavour. And a must try is the buttermilk. Rates are affordable, and the portions are stomach filling. Only problem at the location is lack of parking space.

A decent eatery, where we get authentic North Indian dishes. I had chole bhature which was absolutely delicious, though I felt it was a bit overpriced. Sweet Lassi is too good. Service was also nice. It was a bit crowded inside and less space. But still overall it was a nice experience.

Nice, small, feel good dine in place at Kakkanad. You'll get a fixed menu for each day, curries and rice pre-prepared and displayed in a food stall. You get yummy parathas, decent curries, and good chat options at a reasonable price. On the flip side, with limited seats available (max capacity < 20), the place is not suitable for large gatherings. Parking is a problem as well, though you can expect to get some space at the nearby open ground. Limited beverage options too (you only get lemon/black tea, jaljeera, lassi) could be deal breaker.

Authentic chole bhature, freshly made parathas and good service - checklist marked right. Given the ambience, the pricing seems a lil disproportionate.

It's a cozy place with really good food, quick service and super affordable! The staff were super nice too. I absolutely loved their sev puri. The parathas have good amount of filling (which is rare) and are served piping hot. Looking forward to trying more dishes there. Highly recommend it if you want a good north Indian place Update: Have visited this place several time since. Their chaat is pretty good too, so is their lassi. Tried their vada pav, pav bhaji, dahi puri, aloo tikki etc. Of all the chaats, I liked the aloo tikki, dahi and sev puri the best. They have a mango based fizzy drink which was super yumm. Their staff is just soo nice, it's one of the very few places where I whole heartedly want to give more money. There are times where the food wasn't as good as it usually is, but it has never been bad. I'd recommend going to this place a little early when they're not too busy to enjoy it best. Love the food, the place and the people. And to top it off, the food is quite affordable too. What more do you need? 😄

Ordered Mix Veg Kofta, Dal Makhani, Chappathi and Plain Paratha. Very satisfying to eat with good quantity, worth the price. Seating is a bit constricted. They have different menu for each day of the week. Definitely a great eating experience!!

Our initial experience with these guys was fabulous. Those were the best Parathas we have ever had in Kerala. Authentic and tasty. But we made a mistake and gave a 5 Star Rating. This evening we ordered again. And we got Parathas prepared from stale Atta Dough (tasting sour) under cooked vegetables and tasteless. So much for maintaining consistency! After 1 hour of intense chat with Swiggy, got my refund!

Limited place with limited menu but serves some delicious north indian food. Especially parathas and very soft chapathis. A must visit in kakkanad if you are looking for some typical north indian stuffs. Kudos to the way they manage. Chat items are flavoursome too. ❤️

I would say one of the best north indian vegetarian hotels in Cochin.Their paneer speciality curries, are great. Each day I think has a different paneer curry. What I liked most about them is that there taste is consistent, hits the right spot all the time. In short, total value for money and highly recommended.

I liked the chaats and service is also fine. The place is not very easy to spot and parking is not adequate. The ambience is cute and attractive.
