The hospital officials said 20k rs for a minor surgery estimated. 25k overall doctor estimated. Billed amount 40k. 2 days stayed in a non-ac room. What a wonderful experience for a middle class family! We had 30k in hand and we struggled a lot to pay the bill. When explained our situation to PRO Mr.Lijo, his attitude towards my parents and me was horrible. He talks like he own the hospital. He even said "next time you don't have to visit our hospital and go to some other". Wow! Fantastic job man keep it up! I wonder who appointed him in such a reputed hospital!! So think twice if you're visiting this hospital.

Not at all recommend, especially for casualty. There are no securities for managing vehicles even in front of the casualty. There was only a single trainee doctor to attend. Overall, a very unprofessional place for a hospital!! It resembles the Little flower Angamaly. These hospitals juts runs because they are very old and has a customer basis from olden times.

One of the oldest hospitals in Ernakulam. The hospital has a homely environment, the nurses are awesome. The area is very well maintained and has ample parking space. The biggest advantage is that the hospital is right next to the main road and metro station. Plenty of buses, metro trains, autos, and cabs are available. Canteen is decent with very reasonable rates. Building is little old, maintenance is required in some wards.

My mother was admitted in this hospital for a couple of weeks end of last year due to some COVID concerns at the long term care facility she is currently in. This was my first experience with this hospital and would like to say that it was really good. Initially i was daunted by my mom being in a hospital i had not really heard before. We were assigned one contact person -Sister Bincy of MAJ. Being far away from my mom -oceans apart-she was really helpful. Kept me up to and current date with all information on the testing and follow up. I was relieved that my mom was in safe hands and a safe place. I would definitely recommend this hospital .

Having a clean and good ambience. It has a peacefull environment with spacious reception,. Met people with great attitude., Doctors are humble.It has quality services. Affordable. The room spray not appropriate.Canteen is not so eye captureing.. affordable ..there is no fresh juices. Biriyani is not soo good neither the meals is... edible food they have lunches,snacks,, cool drinks and hot drinks and which is 24 /7 available. There is no hurry burry..The rooms have Optimum ventilation and have seating arrangements in every hall and rooms and pathways. The department has a general department which is supported by the latest diagnostic facilities which include ,Pathology Serology,Microbiology, Radiology etc.

I had a bad experience yesterday with the on-call duty doctor in the casualty. I have never seen such arrogance in any of the senior doctors I have ever met. I don't recommend anyone to visit MAJ Hospital if you are in need of immediate assistance. Moreover, I would recommend a little bit of professionalism in the reception area.

My parents both had a great experience under Dr Atul and team in covid isolation ward.They were well taken care of physically and mentally.Insurance team also was v prompt and we didn't face any delay during the bill settlement.

Rooms have no facility.for covid patients the rooms are pathetic .room charges are exorbitant.for covid patients they charge medicine of almost 10k when we all know what all medicines are prescribed for a covid case.a patient lying in a single room has been charged isolation rent too.the system is bad and they are not concerned about the patient .they are only concerned about the money .

Never ever come to this hospital. The staff won’t even consider you as a patient on the threat of death. All the nursing person are busy with their gossip talks. Literally no one is here for you. This Hospital is one of the un professional casualty team. They don't know how to treat and respect the patent.. very very bad experience with casualty nurses... They are not bothered when we came with any difficulties... We experienced same three times... Two time it's very urgent case at night that's why we gone there... And today also we gone and same experience then we tell them our past bad experience with themselves... And we went to another hospital.. We will never come to this hospital again for any purpose and will not recommend it to anyone anymore

Good service

Visited one of the doctor and charged us 100rs for PPE. The nursing staff continued to wear the Same PPE and we payed her twice for the same PPE. Also they don't sanitize Or clean previously used equipment and areas. So basically they wear the same PPE through out the day and all the patients entering the room have to pay for a new PPE. Nurses look like cows crossing a road. Very less motivated to work. They stand against this safety protocol and overcharging.

The medical camp conducted by the hospital at Aluva was very effective. This helped a huge amount of people in identifying their health conditions. They also provided required medicines. The staff members and doctors were warm and friendly.

I stayed at this hospital from 4th December 2023 to 9th December due to the admission of my son with viral fever. I realized that this is one of the distinguished hospitals offering the best care to the people in Kochi city. The pediatric doctors are highly experienced, professional, and show kind approaches towards us. The nursing staff is punctual and committed. The rooms were cleaned thoroughly twice, and the bed sheets and pillow covers were changed every morning without delay. The nurses are easily reachable by pressing a bell. The room was provided with a TV and AC, and there is a spacious car parking area. Patient-friendly food services are available in the room from the canteen at lower prices. We never felt like we were in a hospital. I recommend some communication improvement for their insurance department staff. All other services except insurance are at a five-star level at lower prices in the city.

The Dailysis staff was really worst ever and they are no experience too. To day they are pricking more than 10 times for My Mother Dailysis and the duty staff they are approach the patient was very Arrogant. Plz ask them to care a patient like a Human because the patient already have so much pain and discomfort .There is no free service. So plz provide a good care for the patient

I went for Covid vacation. Service was quick and service nurses where really caring and efficiently quick with the work .

So so so pathetic. If there is negative star so i wanna give them happily. Yesterday night i went with my friend for ECG and BP check ups. The first of all receptionist who don’t have sense to behave and talk . very rudely she behaves with me and ask all the details of my friend. Secondly, the sister who come to treatment she was also pathetic and behaved very rudely and unprofessional i told her why r u behaving like unprofessional and illiterate .after that she went there and start gossiping with other sisters so i thought this hospital is pathetic and insane no need to say anything to them let’s leave as soon as possible. It is the only hospital in this planet where sisters and staffs are sick. How pathetic how rude uuuuffffff.it was completely insane . This matter happen 16/11/2021 at 9 evening.so I’ll suggest to all guys don’t go there it’s not hospital it’s bunch of mad staffs and sisters

Very old hospital lacking basic amnesties like not even having a working card machine for payment. The cleanliness is not good and the staffs are not helpful even i was surprised that i had to remove my shoes to get inside the hospital which itself make the patient feel uncomfortable where it could be easily avoided by a shoe cover which might cost pennies and for a test it was done in the most vulnerable area as well.No proper documentation or and courtesy to hear the queries as well.Will never recommend this hospital except may be if it is unavoidable.

It is an 'old school' hospital. The treatment methodology and equipment are not the latest. Good for minor illness.Cleanliness and facilities are average compared to other city hospitals. Charges are a bit less compared to those ultra modern private hospitals.

A well-known hospital near Edappally, and the overall experience is good. The availability of doctors and their consultations are highly appreciable, both in general medicine and the orthopedic department. Dr. Paul used to head the orthopedic department earlier. However, in other departments such as the laboratory, the experience is not satisfactory due to inadequate staff for billing and blood collection. The behavior of the billing staff and their efficiency in handling transactions is also unsatisfactory. Considering it is such a reputable hospital, please ensure that your staff is available during working hours and adequately trained to handle transactions and computer systems.

Great hospital with good doctors and infrastructure. But I noticed that their insurance claim department is pretty slow in processing the claims. The rooms at Alphonso ward are clean and well maintained on a daily basis.
