I had a good experience here. The person who checked my eyes first was slightly abrasive. They did not wipe down the machines between people using them which bothered me. They also didnt raise the table most of the time so i kept having to stoop lower which hurt my back. But the front desk and everyone else was excellent. Most of the staff spoke a little english and there was an excellent english interpreter there for the important parts. Her english was impeccable I believe her name was Anh. They quoted me $1760 USD for SMILE in both eyes which was definitely a fantastic price to me as an American. The procedure itself was relatively painless and the staff appeared knowledgeable and trustworthy. One complaint I have was that after the procedure just leave you outside the operation room by yourself and expect you to blindly figure out how to leave. It would have been much nicer if they at least guided you to the waiting room or offered to call you a cab. In America after an eye procedure its standard to give out very cheap sunglasses and I wish they did that too because my eyes were very sensitive to light. They did mention to bring that and I forgot so thats really my fault. Either way my vision is 20/20 now so im still glad I went.

Great experience with the clinic. Anh was very helpful with the translations. Everyone was very nice and nurses guided me throughout the process. I got the Quattro+ SMILE procedure. I decided to get it in Seoul as it is cheaper than what we have locally in my country and BGN's equipments are top notch. The tests were very thorough. There was stinging during the 1st day but after rest and following after care, the next day the pain was gone though vision was still a bit blurred and driving is not advisable. I can see far now but devices i have to adjust the font size to be bigger to read what's on the screen. Hopefully this would be better in a week's time. Update: Six months later and my eyesight turned from nearsighted to now presbyopia. I can see from afar up to an arm's away. Anything close is blurred, which makes it difficult to fill up forms or use devices because I have to be mindful of the distance or else I won't be able to see or read. They have offered corrective surgery but it's a bit scary to risk my eyes again when it didn't work the first time. Clinic experience is great. Post op is not. Ultimately, the risk is for the patient to take.

Highly recommend for any considering eye correction surgery and the price was very reasonable compared to what it would have cost me back in the US.

I had an amazing experience here when I had Quattro SMILE done. Starting with online enquiry, the staff has been very friendly and helpful, patiently answering my enquiries, giving me the confidence and assurance. When I went down for my appt, everything went smoothly and fast. The clinic is foreigner-friendly with helpful translator, who explain to us the process at every step right till the end. I was able to get the surgery done on the same day and went back 6 days later for a follow-up before flying back home. I only felt pain and uncomfortable on the first day as expected. No more pain the day after, only blurry vision. Overall, I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone who wants to get lasik done in Seoul.

The hospitality and service were exceptional! I underwent the QUATTRO SMILE procedure around a month ago in early June. The entire process was seamless and efficiently managed, starting with comprehensive eye examinations and detailed explanations about the various surgical options to the doctor's consultation. All the staff members were incredibly kind and provided excellent service, with special mention to Anh who was not only proficient in English but also guided me throughout my entire clinic experience. I booked in for SMILE LASIK on Feb 20 and had an amazingly smooth experience from start to finish! Firstly, the email correspondence from BGN’s side was incredibly quick and informative, especially when I had to make a last minute change to my booking date. The day of the consultation and surgery was probably one of the most efficient experiences I’ve had as they go through each machine in depth and quickly one after the other with no sitting around and waiting between each one. It was incredibly extensive, far more than what I’m used to at the optometrist in Australia. After the tests are completed, the English consultant Ahn takes you through your test results and recommends which surgeries will best work for your eyes. There is no pressure to even complete the surgery there if you don’t wish to. After deciding on Quattro SMILE and paying (please check the BGN Facebook as there might be discounts, I got ₩200,000 off for Valentines!) they let me know that the surgery will be conducted later that afternoon so I could pop out and have lunch before returning. They literally hold your hand through the whole process of preparing you for surgery with the various eye drops and locations you need to go to. The surgery itself was only a few minutes and the staff are incredibly encouraging through the process. I was well enough to take a train back after, but I recommend calling a taxi instead as it can be disconcerting. There was absolutely no pain, only the discomfort of very dry eyes that they let you know about. The checkup the next day and week proceeded in a similar fashion, quick and efficient despite me being late for both! The doctor was kind enough to give me some pictures of my eyes to show my ophthalmologist in my home country as I decided not to go through with an additional Retina surgery. If you’re looking to get any type of laser eye surgery in Korea, I truly recommend BGN as they were both so efficient and informative and had very caring staff!! Overall the experience was great. Ms Ahn is such a wonderful person who assisted us every step of the way. She helped us navigate the process and translate everything that we needed to know. The doctors and those who checked on me were wonderful, they even took the time to entertain and talk to my daughter during the whole process and my checkups. I would highly recommend this place to anyone going to Korea for lasik/smile surgery! They were very accommodating to foreigners and will have a translator with you every step of the way! Not once did I feel like I was lost or didn't have all the information I needed to make a proper decision for myself. The staff are very kind and not pushy, if there was ever a miscommunication problem, they would take the time to make sure we were all on the same page before proceeding with anything! I also really loved how many check up appointments there were! The doctor helped explain any questions I had and it really felt like they take the time to go through each patient instead of treating everyone the same. I went for the smile pro option and could see significantly better just hours after the surgery!

I had the best experience at BGN Eye Clinic in Jamsil. Booking online was super easy and there were no issues upon arrival to the clinic. My translator Ahn was amazing. She was so patient, kind, and thorough in her explanations. They performed an extensive eye exam and explained the results in great detail. I was able to receive the Smile Triple Pro Lasik Eye Surgery the same day. The entire process took less than 3 hours. The surgery itself took about 5 minutes and recovery time was about 3-5 hours. I was still able to see quite a bit immediately after the surgery. I'm currently 6 days post-surgery and my vision is about 97%. I'm still recovering in terms of clarity and dry eyes, but each day is better. I would highly recommend this particular clinic for anyone seeking vision correction.

Had a fantastic experience here. Was hoping for SMILE, but I only qualified for LASIK and got same-day surgery. I was in for my consultation at 2pm and leaving the building by 4pm. Things were quite uncomfortable that evening but I followed all of the instructions and by the next morning I felt much better and had 20/20 vision in both eyes! I am 4 weeks post-op and I am So Impressed with how great my vision is. I would absolutely recommend BGN Jamsil to anyone interested in vision correction surgery.

I got the Smile Lasik procedure done with BGN. My experience was great with with them from start to finish. They discussed which procedure would be best for me and really were looking out for me and not just making a profit. They were very informative and had an English translator to assist with communicating with the doctors and kept me informed every step of the way. Recovery was fast and in now able to see with out my glasses and contacts. It’s amazing to wake up in the morning and see without searching for my glasses, seeing as though I’ve been wearing glasses since I was 8. I went with a friend and they accommodated both our schedules during the day of LASIK and for all our follow up appointments. I went to BGN a little nervous since I'm a foreigner and was actually on the fence about doing the procedure but their overall process and facilities put me at ease. I had the SMILE eye procedure done here and it was super efficient and painless process. I went home by myself on the metro without sunglasses and was totally fine. Was shocked at how fast the recovery was as well, currently I'm 3 week post-op and don't have any dry eye symptoms but was given eyedrops which was a nice touch. Prices was of course more reasonable compared to Australian prices. Would highly recommend BGN eye clinic to anyone thinking of getting vision correction, wish i would've done this sooner!
