Bukhansan National Park is a national park located north of Seoul. If you like to experience mountain climbing in your self-sufficient Korean travel itinerary, this will be the most ideal place. In addition to enjoying the magnificent mountain scenery overlooking the city from above, you can also find a fortress and many ancient temples located along the way up the mountain. In each season, the space here will wear different colors, very beautiful and poetic.

A beautiful, scenic, and relaxing beach on Jeju Island! Hamdeok Beach is a sandy beach with many cafes and restaurants just within walking distance. One of the popular cafes just right by the beach is Cafe Delmondo. This particular cafe serves nice pastries, coffee, and drinks. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful view of the sea from this cafe. Highly recommended to visit this beach and taking a stroll along the beach itself is rewarding. The blue water and clean beach are perfect for a family outing!

This is a beautiful beach and was my first introduction to Jeju Island where I saw the volcanic rocks (charcoal black) and the aquamarine waves. There is also a small hill covered with rapeseed (canola) flowers, great for taking photos. It was quite windy when we arrived (there was a monsoon coming) but it was nontheless beautiful. There's a lot of cafes facing the sea and would have been wonderful to see the sunset here next time.

Hamdeok is one of my favorite beaches in the world but it is seriously difficult to enjoy it in the summer months. Too Commercial. Someone who claims to have "rented the beach" and asks for money if you want to put up your own parasol. Jeju's beautiful beaches should be free for everyone to use as they wish and enjoy the beautiful nature. In the summer months it feels like a low budget tourist trap. Over aggressive lifeguards who don't let you go out more than waist deep in the water. Overall, it's too controlled. As mentioned, people should be allowed to enjoy jeju's stunning nature freely and without monetary limitations. I can't believe the government have "rented" the beach to a random guy who charges people money to use his parasols over the whole beach. Hopefully this changes and the beach can return to it's former glory. Pro tip: go in spring or fall when their are no lifeguards and parasol hustlers spoiling your day out.

Clear water and calm waves. I like how there are parts of the ocean split by sand where you can play in with no waves. There are multiple areas where you can swim, I swam at the area closest to the hill where you can walk up. Restrooms nearby with water to wash feet. There are showers and lockers rooms but they were closed when I was there in the evening. Sunset was so pretty, many engagements photos taken here. Street performers at now. People selling thier crafts and many restaurants nearby. I was here in mid June and water was cold but I got use it it and became really nice with the sun setting on my back.

I visited this beach in June and it was quite busy, there was not much comfortable space to sit if you didn’t wanna pay for the chairs. The swimming area was also limited and there were lots of people in the water. The hike around the beaches was enjoyable with good views of the beach.

I come to Hamdeok Beach in winter and enjoy it only with the snow. The overall background is pretty.

It is a place where the bitter wind of Seoubong Peak and the winter sea of the beach come together. It is a beautiful beach with fine white sand and blue sea created by a layer of shell sand in the shallow sea. It is located 14km east of Jeju City, and city buses run frequently, making it a popular destination not only for tourists but also for Jeju residents. The slope is about 5°, so no matter how much you walk, the depth of the water is so shallow that it doesn't even reach the waist of an adult, so it's suitable for family vacationers. It is also equipped with black basalt, an arched bridge, and a walking deck leading to the sea, making it a perfect place to view the blue sea of Jeju. In particular, the white sand beach forms a heart shape with a large basalt rock at the center, blocking the wind, so the sea is always calm, making it the only place in Korea where you can enjoy kayaking. Nearby Hamdeok-ri has a watermelon cultivation complex, said to be the largest in the country, and is designated as a national tourist complex as it is well-equipped with a parking lot, a guesthouse complex, shower facilities, and a campsite. (1001 domestic trips you must visit before you die)

This is my first beach that I visited when I reached Jeju, very very very nice, beautiful and clean beach. I walked for a longgggg time here to enjoy the weather, such a breeze. I'm traveling alone with my rented scooter so its really fun watching local and others activities! I wish to come again to Jeju and cycling around. One week is not enough for me to explore Jeju

It's so pretty here you have good food places nearby. Was only a little sad that they don't let you swim very far they keep a line and you are not allowed to cross. It was around 1,50 cm and deeper was not allowed. The beach itself is very clean and a lot of sitting places

When you come to Hamdeok in winter, you can see seagulls coming to spend the winter. When the weather is good, the jelly sea is really beautiful.

Definitely go here if you need a beach experience in Jeju, and try going during sunset hours. Our experience is somewhat disappointing due to the cloudy skies, but the lights of the storefronts from the pier is beautiful. The cafe by the beach is also great for a short break.

Not a lot of people in June. Convenience stores nearby for beer and beach snacks and some Korean restaurants as well as a burger place. This area is pretty quiet at night, so if you are looking for a night beach vibe like southeast asia this is not it. But it is good for relaxing. Water is clear and sand is clean. Can get some big chuncks of seaweed at times but not trash or dirt.

This is really 3 beaches in one. Two looked good for surfing and the one is great for kids and walking about. The water was warmer as the sandbars trapped it in shallower pools. Flanked by the mountain it also makes for a dramatic feel to the place. There was a lot of garbage on the one beach which was sad, but for the most part the beaches were clean. There is a watersports rental place as well as many restaurants and shops in the area. There is also a board walk that isn't super long but you can walk along it. Also if you are looking to park on the peninsula that separates two of the beaches good luck. It's a one road in/out situation, as well as people walking on it, and there is no light to direct traffic. I had a snack at the Starbucks at that corner and watched the chaos for a bit. It didn't look fun, but luckily no one was hurt.

A really lovely beach in Jeju. The water is clean and clear enough. It's a nice turquoise blue. It can get crowded but it didn't feel overrun. During low tide the water does get really low and you can walk out quite far into the sea. Also during low tide other beaches are formed that would disappear during high tide.
