Great location and friendly, attentive staff. I stayed here for two weeks and, overall, feel pretty good about my stay. The single rooms are very small, and the soundproofing is minimal. The bathroom is also cramped. I was able to make the most of it and ended up feeling quite at home. I expect that these things would cause frustration to anyone with a lot of luggage or somebody who simply takes up more space. The common room is well equipped, and they offer free laundry access. The location is convenient. There are multiple convenience stores within the street. Myeongdong station is only a few minutes walk away. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby, including vegan/halal options. It's also less than 10 minutes' walk to Myeondong night market and shopping street. It's a good area to base yourself in for easy access to the rest of Seoul.

The hostel is in a great, safe and central area in myeongdong. You can get the subway within 3 minutes walking and get everywhere easily. Very nice places to visit around also by foot so you can have a better look at the city. It is located super close to the shopping street, so you can find many nice coffee shops, restaurants, etc. I got a room with 2 single beds and a private bathroom which was very nice and clean, but pretty small too. They provided me some towels, toothbrush and toothpaste which I appreciated. The bed and pillow were very comfortable. The stuff is so welcoming and kind, they sent me a video and specific information I needed before my arrival at the place so it was easy to find the hostel. The only not so good thing is that the room was very tiny so with the luggages we didn’t have space to move, and we didn’t have a window so the air got pretty heavy after a while.. that’s the only con I had. I would recommend this place to everyone tho, and definitely come again here!

Room is very clean and tidy. Service is good, they speak English but some staffs are better at it than others whose English is quite limited. Overall, it was worth the price paid! Will come back and totally recommend.

I stayed in this hotel for three days. I booked double room, but it was still small. The rooms were clean. Very nice staff and helpful. The location is great. It is in the city center, very close to Seoul Tower and Myeong-dong (shopping area). You can also find nice coffee shops and shops. Also, there are free Korean dresses, you can try on them and take nice photos. I recommend this Hostel for everyone.

Because of Covid, there are few tourists in Seoul right now (Aug 2022) so hotel prices are historically low! Starria is in a great part of town, close to the subway, and there are some excellent eating options right in the street. I found it amazingly good value for money: I paid the equivalent of €27 per night! The manager, Joon-Seok, is a smart, friendly, hands-on, detail-conscious guy who runs a tight ship. He really goes out of his way to be helpful. For the day I was leaving, I asked him to call me an early-morning cab to take me to Seoul station (where there is an express railroad to the airport). Believe it or not, he got up at 5:15 and drove me to the station in his personal vehicle!! And he refused all payment! The guy is a legend! :)) Great address, don't hesitate.

I highly recommend this hostel! It is a bus ride away from Incheon airport and conveniently located right by Myeong-dong station. The location is amazing and very central, a lot of attractions are in walking distance and there are tons of restaurants, clothing stores, coffee shops and bars in the area. The hostel is very clean. Towels, slippers, and shampoo/body wash are provided. There is a washer/dryer that is free of charge, coffee, a water station as well as an area to cook food. The host, Joon, is extremely kind helped me with all of my questions. He even walked me to the airport bus with my luggage. I will definitely be staying there again on my next visit.

Perfect hostel. Clean rooms, good communication with the staf. Only walls are thin so the alarms of others you can hear in the morning.

This hostel is a very good and affordable place to stay. Our room was neat and the size was absolutely sufficient for 2 people. The Starria Hostel lacks nothing. Towels, toilet paper and shampoo/shower gel are provided. This is not always to be expected from a hostel. There are washing and cooking facilities in the basement. The hostel staff are very friendly. The location was perfect for me. The hostel is only a few minutes away from Myeongdong underground station. I would book this accommodation again.

I absolutely recommend this hotel. It's conveniently located near the train station, making it easy to explore Seoul. The owner is welcoming and helpful, and the presence of a kitchen and laundry room adds to the convenience. The cleanliness is impeccable, and considering all the amenities and service provided, the price is definitely worth it. A great choice for a comfortable and affordable stay in Seoul.

The hostel is located few hundred metres from Myeongdong Station exit 3. A few halal restaurants within 100m range, convienience stores and cafes nearby. I choose the hotel because it has lift. The manager Joon is helpful and kind. He let me check in earlier and response quickly when I told that my room fridge is out of order. He change it immediately.

This hostel is by far the best hostel I've stayed in Seoul, (I've stayed in 3 accommodations in Korea) best direct communication with the owner, have a common area for your food consumption and water refillable area, 👍 thanks Joon (Btw the wooden chairs were very shaky, very risky in falling, ya do give it a check every now and then)

A pleasant stay with great value! My daughter and I had a six-day stay at this hotel, and while the room was small, we felt it was worth every penny. The location was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The added perk of complimentary laundry facilities made our experience even better. Special thanks to Mr. Joon and the entire staff of Starria Hostel❤️

Best hostel I stayed in Korea! Excellent location with only 4 minute walk to the Myeong-dong subway station. It’s near the main shopping street and excellent food places to choose from. The hostel has a nice communal kitchen with cold and hot water, coffee machine, microwave etc, also a washer/dryer free of charge what was very nice and convenient. The owner Joon is fluent in English and was extremely kind and helpful with everything. He made sure I had a pleasant stay and helped with directions tremendously since google maps didn’t work for me in Korea! I’ll definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

Quite near to Myeongdong subway station exit 4, around 5-10 minutes walk distance. Service quite good, price is reasonable around myeongdong area. Night market is just opposite the station.

It a nice place, not too far from myeong dong station. The staff are friendly though not all staff could speak english properly. The cleaning tho not so good since they only take out your trash and change your towels but not changing your bed sheets.

Very near to exit 3 Myoungdong train station; about 3 minutes of walking. The private room for 2 is a little bit small but good enough to stay for few nights. The hostel provides simple breakfast - egg (which you can fry yourself), milk, cereals, bread, coffee, tea; and free laundry. You can try various hanboks for free with background props. 10000won for key deposit at check-in will be returned during check-out. You should inform the receptionist if you want to makeup the room.

Nice place and helpful staff. They offer many tips and tools for travelers (free hanbok, maps, luggage tape and tag ...). Room a little small but worth the price, fully equipped. Near Myeongdong Market & Station.

Decent and clean. Friendly staff. I think the only reason why people are coming back to this hostel is because of its strategic location. It's near to Myeongdong but quiet enough to get a good rest. It's a very basic hostel to sleep, nothing more.

Pros: great location, good price and nice bathroom in the room with good quality shower/hot water. Comfy bed and great blackout blind! The room is a good size for the price, with a silent mini-fridge, and there's a nice eating room and drinks facilities in the basement. Included breakfast was simple but good (toast, cereal and eggs) but a shame that it stops at 9am. Cons: the aircon didn't work which meant the room was very hot - had to sleep with the window fully open which is pretty noisy until around midnight. They provide towels but they are hand-towel sized and are not changed for full duration of stay (4 days). The room was not cleaned/ entered at all in this time so bin wasn't emptied etc. Service was classic Korean: polite but hardly friendly.

The location of starria hostel is near myeongdong market. It only took about 5-10 minutes walking from myeongdong market. The bedroom was so comfortable, there were room heater so we didn't feel cold even it was so cold outside. There were water heater in the bathroom. I wish I could go there again one day.

Absolutely had the best time in Starria. The owner's so nice. The amenities were complete. Everything was so near and accessible from us. The neighborhood was nice as well. Even if we had a trouble with the booking, the owner made it possible for us to stay over. No regrets booking this place. The rooms were cozy! We're going back this winter! We used the pantry and used the laundry area. We borrowed the ironing board and the iron for our clothes.

My first time staying in a hostel and it did not disappoint. This hostel is like a home away from home. I have already recommended Starria to my friends ! Aside from it’s great location, comfortable and very clean rooms, their Hospitality and Customer Service is THE TOPS !! Mr. Joon, the owner, rocks in terms of helping all guests : from arranging airport pickups, buying KTX train tickets at discounted rates, even going out of his way to get me a cab at 7 am , so I can get to my meeting point in time for my BTS Tour :) The Hostel also provides hanboks and a photo spot for guests interested in having souvenir pictures taken !

Very unique way of hospitality. The hostel is very much like an AirBnB where it feels like home. The host Joon (Alfonso) is extremely helpful. Location is perfect!
