The best sundae I have ever had!

Among sundae, squid sundae increases satisfaction level. Sundaeguk shows the restaurant's individuality. There is something unique. Evaluations vary depending on taste. TIP: There is a military discount.

It's got appeared in multiple TV shows I believe, and while those appearances often tend to cancel out the place's legitimacy, the foods--of course, mainly sundae--seem to remain quite superb.

Thought it would be just one of tourist restaurant but their food is great! Portion is pretty big for 1 person (although they said they don't sell one portion but was kind enough to serve me one). Parking tip: park below the bridge. It's right next to it.

Okay, so why is this place soooo popular when there are many more places like this around it? Well, probably for two main reasons. First, it was in many TV programs. Second, it has history--it's been owned by 3 generations of the same family. We just had to try Abai Village Korean sausage (₩12,000) as a late-night snack. So, we decided to make it to-go. The place was crowded when we got here around 8pm, but there was no line. The lady who helped us at the front was pleasant. So, our overall experience with their service was good. The sausage was stuffed with many things, and it was serioulsly filling! Also, I thought it was on the spicy side and the outside skin was a bit chewy for my liking. But overall, it was very different and good!

Soondae soup and cold noodles are perfect. I regularly visit there whenever I go to sokcho.
