It was fun to go for a walk and busk on the beach, and I liked the lighting on Gwangan Bridge.

My most favorite place during my vacation in South Korea! I spent late afternoon enjoying the view, had early dinner and came back for beer and sunset at the beach. Couldn’t get any better. Lovely place to be!

The most outstanding feature for this beach is the bridge that adds details to the views one can get. Lighting makes the view of the bridge from the shore even more beautiful but with a good sunset and clear skys too, photos can appear really epic. In general i think it is way more beautiful than Haeundae but that is a personal take!

Nice place to relax. Sadly the weather wasn't the best when I was there, but still worth it. The view of the bridge crossing the ocean is pretty interesting. There are different sculptures along the beach too. If you visit at night, there's a nice atmosphere with bars and restaurants

Lots of spots to eat, shop and take photos at around the beach. Parking is quite difficult though especially during the weekend so driving there is not recommended. This beach is great at night, with light fixtures, little market stalls and some buskers + karaoke machines, making it very lively πŸŽ΅πŸŽ€πŸ˜ŽπŸŒ»β˜€οΈβ›±οΈ (P.S. at the moment they’ve got BTS figurines on the beach hehe)

Really like the beach, not sure if it is the best to me but definitely in the top two Busan beaches. As it was out of the season, difficult to say how busy can be there. Itself is quite long, great for a walk also there is plenty of branches to rest. Really recommend to visit if you are in Busan.

Cool beach in the evening when the light illuminates the bridge. Fireworks going off was also a nice treat.

Gwangalli Beach or Gwangan Beach is located west of Haeundae Beach. It is located in a bay spanned by the Gwangan Bridge and covers 82,000 square meters in a length of 1.4 km and a width of 25 to 110 meters in a crescent shape with fine sand. Because of its popularity, city officials are pushing to improve water quality around the beaches. Adjacent are streets with restaurants, cafes and nightclubs. The beach is close to the Busan Yachting Center, which was used for the 1988 Summer Olympics sailing competitions. A car chase involving over 150 cars and 700 people was filmed in the Gwangalli Beach area for the 2018 film Black Panther. These drone shots are from November 2022.

Magical diamond beach where it is brightly lit at night. Here u could see Gwangan Bridge lit up by colorful lights and fireworks displayed from the boats below at different hour. A drone show every Saturday is showcased which have different themes and it’s advanced technology on display. Great attraction.

Beach is really fascinating and lively at night, full of shop and restaurants but costly. We're lucky for drone exhibiting at night. Wish everyone visit it.

One of the top busan beaches and in my opinion the best. I don't know about the sea because I didn't go in the season you can enjoy the beach like in summer but no doubts I had one of my best times here... At night, Friday and Saturday you can see people singing, buskers, people enjoying, beautiful lights and if you're lucky even fireworks when you enjoy the view... It is magical, I think the bridge is so beautiful... I went for pepero day which is a very romantic day so I think that colored my experience even more. No doubt that in the daytime Busan beaches are so beautiful too.

Haeundae beach is the most famous in Busan, but I would like to recommend Gwangalli beach. I've been to both places, but I recommend Gwangalli Beach, which has a beautiful night view at night. Gwangalli beach visited in winter was very fantastic. Even though it is winter, the sea breeze is not so cold, the vast ocean with no end in sight, the wonderful waves, and the night view of Gwangan Bridge passing by! It's so cool. Sitting on the sand, you can find items for fireworks in the corner. Thanks to you, I enjoyed the fireworks! There are delicious food and busking performances around the sea, so please go there!

The bridge view is beautiful. Generally a rough sea. It closes early. Perfect to sit and chat on the beach. An immaculate beach. I feel very safe.

A lot better than Busan just because it’s lot smaller and less crowded. I’m sure it gets crowded in summer. Love being here. Lots of shops and restaurants.

The beach with a night view. Amazing bridge spanning across the sea with colorful lights. Quite lively with tourists and seller. Restaurants, cafes, bars, karaoke bars, and claw machine or arcade games are all around the beach with soo much convenience and choices to pick through it overwhelmed us to find a place to eat. Definitely worth seeing the sunset and night time view and just sit by the beach or in a cafe/restaurant/bar with the view.

I love the vibes here at night. The city lights and the colorful bridge light reflect on the seawater looks amazing. It's good to chill, have a walk around the beach to enjoy the night view. There are many restaurants along the main street near the beach.

Nice long beach you can walk on. Very prestige and clean. Lots of eating places (albeit touristy) nearby for snacks/meals. Recommend coming at night. Had boats were doing some random fireworks when we went!

The scenery is beautiful, there are many restaurants, and Guang'an Bridge is very beautiful. During the cherry blossom season, remember to stop by the nearby Namcheon-dong to enjoy the cherry blossoms, which are very beautiful.

My favorite beach in Korea. Haewondae beach is more bigger/wider/popular/cleaner than Gwanganri but more cozy/closer to the water and interactive. Most foreigners like Haeundae. In my opinion more local young generations like to visit Gwanganri. Hotels and foods are less pricey than Haeundae. Haeundae is similar to Waikiki beach and Gwanganri is similar to Kailua beach and popular to local nationals and young tourists if you know what I mean. You can drink/eat/have tea/coffee closer to the beach and enjoy watching a lot of young people in the streets and at the beach.

The beach has everything from the view to diner options with transportation convenience. The Gwangan bridge is absolutely the most beautiful bridge more than the Golden gate.

As u may already know, gwangalli beach is famous place here in busan. But most of bus people love this place. When i was in busan, i sometimes visit there, i was breathing fresh air and relaxing. It was good time with my fri. Anyway, in korea it legal ot drive some beer and wine on the beach. But u don't have to drink too much on the beach. It is very important to be polite, when u spend the time.

Great place to hang out and enjoy people watching. Pretty low key and more of a local hangout. Some umbrellas are provided as well as showers, toilets AND β€œdust blowers”, which blow away all the sand that is stuck to your bag or body! So cool!

It's a lovely beach. the umbrella are super cute and nice to sit under for some shade. The water is clean, and the surrounding beach was too. I imagine in the summer that it would be very busy. There are many restaurants and cafes around the area. It's a great spot for a fun evening, too.

I came here on the weekend and there were quite a lot of people. The beach and surrounding is really clean, but it feels a bit cooler because it's already fall, and the sky was very beautiful even thought it was a little cloudy. There's a lot cafe and coffee shop along the beach street.

Loads of bars and restaurants along the beach. Light show every evening. Some art installations along the beach. Easy to get to by public transport. I visited here and Haeundae beach during a 1 day trip to Busan.

A little bit crowded in the weekends but still one of my favorite place to rest and watch the beautiful sea! In summer and near evry holiday there are plenty of festivals near Gwangali to attend! There is also a bunch of different cafΓ©s, restaurants and hotels there where you can choose perfectly how to spend your time in! Caution: It's not common to go swimming in this coast! BUT don't be shy if you like!

I had an amazing time at the beach. It was my first time going to a beach and it was very special. Safe and there are a lot of life guards. Visible at all times. It wasn't too crowded since it was during the week. I'll come back when I visit Busan again.

It's a beautiful beach with many bars and restaurants right on the beachfront. The nightview of the bridge is really nice, and there are many people.

Gwangalli beach is set in the next bay to Haeundae beach and we found it nicer and livelier. The beach is similar in length as the Haeundae, but contrary to it has many bars and restaurants along it. We even celebrated my daughter's birthday in a great Mexican restaurant. Nice views of the Busan symbol - Gwangalli Bridge, specially at night

Beautiful experience with the cool bridge out in the water. The beach can get crowded, but who cares when the sun is shining and the atmosphere is fresh. Good place to collect beautiful rare shells too. The promenade is lined up with restaurants.

We are Americans visiting Korea and we stayed about 3 minutes from here and absolutely loved this area. Haeundae Beach is more popular but Gwangalli beach had plenty for us to explore, the beach itself was great, they sell fireworks at night so it's common to see them even on weeknights but especially on weekends. There are also lots of buskers performing on weekends, and it gets fairly crowded. When it got cold and rainy there were surfers out on the waves too, so that's a fun thing to do on a windy day. If you have any questions about staying in this area as an English speaker feel free to ask, I'm happy to help.

Highly recommend for night view in Busan! Along the beachside, there are many bars and restaurants. You may enjoy the famous Gwangalli bridge in the beach.
