I have been researching hair transplants for almost a decade now and more so these past couple of years. After seeing countless YouTube videos, I knew Seoul would be a great place to start. I had decided to reach out to Motion Clinic because of the great experience shared on the Hairliciously YouTube channel, as well as the fact that Motion Clinic only specializes in hair transplants. I immediately received a response from Kim answering all of my questions regarding number of grafts needed, cost and available dates. He also provided me with links and information on how to make my travels to South Korea as smooth as possible. Within a couple of day of sending that first email, I had booked a flight and hotel room in Seoul. Note, I have never left the US before and do not speak Korean what so ever. The staff at Motion guided me to everything I needed even offered suggestions to where to enjoy my down time. As for the procedure, it went great. It’s only been a little under 3 week but, from what I can see it looks great. The staff is very kind, professional and knowledgeable. The clinic has nearly 2 decades of experience, so we were able to come up with a plan to solve my current hair situation and make a plan for the future. It’s also worth mentioning, after the procedure they offered me daily care for as long as my stay was. I can not recommend this place enough.

Motion clinic, Kim, the doctor/nurses were fantastic to work with. They can speak English, we’re very professional and caring. They pay a lot of attention to detail and were really easy to work with. They’re very transparent about the procedure, what to expect and the follow up after the procedure. I had to leave Korea after the 2nd day but the whole experience was seamless. I was out and about after 2-3 days, there was some bruising on the 4th day but it went away on the 8th. Overall super simple, many people come by referral which speaks to the quality of work done by the clinic! I was worried about going back to work but on day 10 I was able to remove the scabs and cover my recipient area. I’m on day 21 now, and the hairs are growing back faster than ever! After 1 year of research and contacting/consulting with numerous clinics in the US and Korea, I am glad that i choose motion clinic. Motion is by far the best choice as they were always quick to answer any questions/concerns I had about the procedure and provide detailed photos/videos (specific examples similiar to my case). And by far, motion was producing better outcomes then many of the top clinics in the US especially when it comes to density. Mr. Kim always went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and well prepared for the procedure. He made sure he kept my goals in mind and would be honest/realistic about everything. He was in constant communication with me after the initial consult and was able to help me with everything from finding living arrangement, traveling, quarantine information (even offered to send me packages with food). The staff at motion are all very kind, professional, best in the business, and most importantly really care about the patient. Dr. Bahk and the two nurses that worked with me during the procedure are amazing at what they do and I can already tell they did a perfect job even a week after the procedure. They never rushed anything and could tell how detailed they were. Highly recommend motion clinic if you are thinking about getting this procedure done.

Kim and Motion Clinic has been wonderful throughout the entire process of the journey. From the initial consultation, to the details on navigating through Korea during the quarantine, and finally to the day of the procedure and after the procedure. The entire team has been wonderful to work with. Each staff member is very caring, knowledgeable, and has great bedside manner. The staff never rushed anything on the day of the procedure, even though I was late to the appointment. The post-op care was incredible as well - the daily hair washes felt like getting your scalp massaged at the salon! Even though it has only been less than 2 weeks since the procedure was done, the results look great so far and everything is healing up nicely. I had been considering a hair transplant for quite a while, but was understandably nervous to go through the process. Besides cost, I was worried about being able to find a clinic that had experience with African American hair. I had reached out to a number of clinics, but Motion was the only one to provide detailed answers to my questions, as well as photos of previous Black clients. Kim was quite responsive, and when I arrived for my procedure, he walked me through each step of the process to ensure I knew what to expect. They even provided a vegan lunch for me! As for the procedure itself, everything went well, and I’m quite satisfied with the results. I finally have my hairline back! I had, of course, seen the photos of others’ transplants, but when you’re looking at your own in the mirror, it’s surreal. I can’t wait to see what my hair will look like four months from now. As a person that experienced fairly severe hair loss starting from their mid-20s, my self-confidence was at an all time low and there was a looming feeling of hopelessness as there is no easy fix/cure for this issue. I decided that instead of doing nothing as I reach my 30s, I began doing my research onto what I could do to tackle this issue and came across hair transplants and then later came across Motion Clinic. It was an incredible journey from start to finish and I don't regret my decision one bit. Everyone at Motion has been incredibly accommodating, professional, and caring throughout the whole process. Whether it was answering questions, letting me take a break when sitting during the procedure got too tiring, or assisting with post-op care, they were with me and helping me through it all. It truly felt that they cared and wanted to help in any way that they can. They weren't only trying to make my procedure as comfortable as possible which is a given, but they helped with making my stay in Korea comfortable as well. While I am somewhat fluent in Korean, I was born in the states and had never traveled outside of the US so it was a completely unfamiliar place. Kim was the main point of contact for me and he was fluent in both Korean and English which made it easier for myself and my father who accompanied me to completely understand everything before, during, and after the procedure. He also assisted in making sure I was provided information on restaurants and places to go during my stay in Korea since neither my father or I was familiar with Gangnam. The doctors, nurses, and staffs also deserve a huge shoutout for their professionalism from start to finish. I wont say that getting a hair transplant is a painless procedure since applying anesthesia hurt quite a bit at first and the procedure pretty much takes the whole day which requires basically leaning on your back for hours but I honestly have absolutely no complaints in regards to the staff or my overall experience there. Since it has only been a couple weeks, it is now the waiting game for my hair to begin growing out but thanks to everyone at Motion Clinic, I have high hopes for the future.

I had a hair transplant at the clinic in late July. The whole process went smooth and at no time did I feel pressured or nervous about the.procedure. The staff at the clinic gave me a conservative graft estimate in order to conserve the donor area in case of any future procedures, but they were receptive to my opinions and requests. I had a lot of trust in Dr. Park’s experience and during and after the procedure I feel like that trust was reassured. Mr. Kim was excellent and took care of me every step of the way and was always making sure that I felt comfortable. Needing to be in Korea for at least five days for the post surgery care, they were very flexible with my schedule which allowed me to conveniently explore the city, something that I also appreciated. All in all, my experience at the clinic was incredible and I absolutely recommend it for those who have been considering a hair transplant and are on the fence. It is a very experienced and accommodating clinic and I hope that they continue their great work.

Did my hair transplant in October with Motion Clinic. Kim was constantly and effectively communicating with me before coming to Korea, during Korea and after as well. He speaks native level English so there was no miscommunication at all. They only do 1 hair transplant a day so I felt really safe since I will be the only patient. The 2 Doctors and all the nurses were really kind as well, and constantly made sure I was okay throughout the procedure. Really happy with the entire experience and happy with my new hairline.

I traveled to Seoul to have my procedure done with motion clinic. Experience was exceptionally great with email consultations done via email and photos prior to the trip. Kim was extremely well versed in English and made all communications easy. He also provided guides to ease travel in Seoul. Kim also had an assistant, Sunny, who was able to converse both in English and Mandarin. Upon arrival in Korea and at the clinic, the clinic was clean and reassured the environment where the procedure would be conducted. Consultations were conducted, drawing of the new hairline to the procedure. The only pain from the procedure was the initial local anaesthesia at the donor site. Otherwise, the whole procedure was almost pain-free and if there were additional pain, just sound out and additional local anaesthesia would be provided. The whole procedure was relatively fast with experienced doctors and nurses. Hair wash was provided on a daily basis and ended off with the scab removal if you are staying on for the full 10 days. Motion clinic is really highly recommended as they are a clinic that provide only hair services and you could tell that it would be a successful procedure based on their specialty!

I came to South Korea during the mandatory quarantine, and the team at Motion Clinic made sure that my 2 weeks were spent as comfortably as possible by even sending two gift packages to the government-mandated quarantine hotel that I was staying at. From the moment I came to Seoul to the moment that I left, Mr. Kim and the Motion Clinic staff made sure that I was taken care of. It's very hard to explain just how impressed and satisfied I am with my experience at Motion Clinic. I’m a very skeptical person by nature, and was on the fence for a long time about getting a hair transplant....no less traveling to Seoul. Especially since I wasn't particularly insecure about my hair - I just wanted to boost density and improve the receding if possible. However, my online communications with Kim the manager were so thorough, and contained such care, precision and patience – answering a thousand and one questions from me every other day- that I ultimately decided to gamble, and flew 14 plus hours to Seoul last week...on pure faith. Making final decision for HT is difficult, but Kim made my decision making and the whole HT process ease and smooth, Kim is very communicative and he made everything transparency clear. Dr. Kim is an excellent communicator, experienced doctors, the clinic is clean, and the staff are friendly and professional. They really took the time and effort to take care of me. After my FUE procedure, they gave me an option of coming in everyday to check my hair's progress and wash it for me until I had to leave Korea. I recently went to Motion Clinic and the experience was great from the initial consultation. It never felt like I was being sold something or pressured into doing things a certain way. The manager, Mr. Kim, is fluent in English and realistically frames what you should expect while also keeping your wishes for design in mind. Should you have any questions, they respond within a few hours by email. Several members of the staff team, also speak English to a good level. So if you have any questions in clinic and Mr. Kim isn’t present, they will help you. All of the staff were cordial and I felt taken care of. I speak a little bit of Korean and I think generally they receive a lot of foreign clients who don’t, so they were very pleasantly surprised when I did. Since I live in Seoul, they also were very helpful with the aftercare protocol for about a week after my procedure. I underwent a hair transplant procedure at Motion Clinic in Seoul and I could not be happier with their service. Such an incredible experience I had at motion clinic!!!! Everyone was very kind & friendly. The doctors are very well experienced, and they listen to my needs. The post-care that I received was beyond incredible. I am currently 5 months post my surgery and I cannot be happier with the results. There are hundreds of hair clinic to choose from. However I chose Motion clinic due to good reviews I saw from YouTube bloggers, and mainly because it was so easy to communicate and schedule consultation appointment and the surgery itself through their English speaking representative. He was also very kind and always replied your emails as soon as he can. Coming from The states, with limited amount of time to stay in Korea, it was important for me to schedule things ahead of time and make sure all the events line up to match with my time in Korea. Motion clinic was pretty clean and well staffed. The staff there, nurses and doctors were all very kind and helpful. I came in several times after surgery to have my hair checked and shampooed. They do great job of making sure your hair transplant stays in good condition, making you feel secure about it. I would definitely recommend this clinic to friends and family.

They did a fantastic job! They were very accommodating and attentive to all my needs. Mr Kim did an outstanding job in helping me find a special type of blanket that my mom wanted so bad thats made in Korea. He and his team also laid out directions and instructions on what to do in Korea like where to purchase a this, how to get where and how to do this and that. They went beyond my expectations! Every question you ask, be it the hair transplant or anything outside that scope , Kim and his team will make sure you leave well informed and satisfied. Dr Park the head surgeon and Nurse Kim also did a fantastic job in making sure I was well taken care off. The nurses also did a great job in implanting the graphs while listening to some hilarious talk shows or some singing contest I didn't understand that got me laughing at times. They did not rush! They all stayed after closing just to finish the surgery! Overall, I would give them more than 5 stars. They would take care you you like they were your family. Great hair transplant experience at Motion Clinic. Kim helps with all the English translation and will attend to any of your questions and needs. He helped me with hotel recommendations, travel requirements and places to go while in Seoul. The procedure itself was smooth, although there is some pain when they inject your scalp and forehead area with Novocain. I had a hairline restoration procedure that took about 6 1/2 hours from start to finish for 1900 grafts. The results of the operation look good, and they also washed my hair after the procedure while I was in Seoul. I've seen pictures of results of this clinic so I have full confidence that the transplant will be successful.

My experience at Motion Clinic was amazing. Although they have a lot of clients, you are 100% the priority of the surgeon and his staff on the day that you have your surgery. Each surgeon has only one client per day. Because of this, they make sure that nothing is rushed. In my case, it took quite a bit longer than expected as I have an unusual flow to my hair that took longer to replicate with the implants. I am very grateful to Dr Bahk and his assistants for working overtime to try and ensure the best result possible. This is what you want from a clinic - compared to stories of other clinics churning through transplants as fast as possible. If you cannot speak Korean (I can't either) - no worries! Kim is an excellent communicator and kept in touch with me via email to assist with any of my concerns. On the day of the transplant, he communicated all of my design desires to the surgeon. He also outlined all the post-op care requirements and even gave me recommendations of where to visit in Seoul! Kim will never treat any of your questions as dumb, and will always promptly message a helpful response. Great experience, 5 stars!

I’m in my early 30s and I was experiencing a receding hairline in a couple of areas (M shape in the front) and I wanted to fix it before it got worse. I did due diligence and consulted with a few clinics in Korea and ended up deciding on Motion Clinic, especially after viewing Hairliciously’s videos on YouTube. Kim and his team were nothing short of exceptional! They really made you feel looked after from the various email communications, leading up to entering Seoul and the day of the procedure! I had heard about Motion Clinic in Seoul, South Korea from friends who had spent a lot of time researching hair loss treatments and had great success with them. I only wish I had heard about them earlier because they have changed my life. I had hair implant in mid January 2022, and I feel very much satisfied with the team at Motion. They are very professional and of course experts in this kind of medical prodecure, plus they have an excellent customer service. All details are covered, specially after the procedure they follow up daily to see that all goes well. As a foreigner, it was a plus that everyone speaks english. Completed my procedure at Motion Clinic mid-September. I felt welcome and the procedure went well. Kim and the staff at Motion Clinic were very accommodating and patient. Kim was super cool and friendly to talk with. I had many questions and Kim was there to provide clarity and made me feel at ease. The nurses and staff there were also equally friendly. They welcomed me everyday for my free hair washes. I'm looking forward to my results.

Overall great experience from Motion Clinic throughout every process. Going through the process personally I felt that the communication was great and am very satisfied with the results. I came from California to get the hair transplant treatment done in Korea, after a fair amount of research, and Motion Clinic is accommodating for someone like myself. I did see a fair amount of locals as well as other English speaking people. If anyone were to do a little research they can rest assure that their experience with Motion Clinic is very thorough including after care. Definitely would recommend this clinic to anyone seeking a hair transplant.

I recently did my Hair Transplant with Motion Clinic and is absolutely delighted with the results. The experience was absolutely amazing and I really felt taken care of the entire time I was in Seoul. Kim, the managing director at the clinic is fluent in English and was exceptionally communicative throughout the entire process and answered all my questions in a timely manner. I emailed him last year for an online consultation and was hesitant because of the Increased flight prices as the pandemic cooled off. He totally understood my issue and was not pushy at all. Fast forward to July of 2023, I reconnected with Kim to finally have my procedure scheduled for November of 2023. After booking my flight and accommodations, Kim provided me with an easy to understand map to get to my accommodation from Incheon Airport and to the clinic. Upon arriving to the clinic, the team showed me around, helped me design my hairline the way I wanted it, and provided me with a consultation with Dr Bakt, the lead surgeon who performed the surgery. The entire day took approximately 9 hours and the surgery itself was relatively pain free. Kim also provided me with detailed post care instructions. I was super happy with my new hairline and I cannot wait for the full results in a year. During my time in Seoul, I was also provided with daily washes at the clinic and scab removal on day 10. The entire experience was absolutely phenomenal and I would absolutely recommend Motion Clinic for anyone that is suffering from any hair loss related issues. I will update the review in a year after the full results.

Initially found out about this place on Reddit & Google— and later decided to email them for an initial virtual consultation. The manager, Mr. Kim was very patient and helpful in answering all of my questions. He guided me through the step-by-step process of getting ready for the procedure. They also have a Mandarin translator on the team (Sunny/Sonny? I believe) who was able to communicate with my mom to answer to any of her questions/concerns. This clinic is really accessible to non-Korean speakers and/or travelers— the language barrier was not an issue at all. The lead doctor (Dr. Park) who conducted the transplant is really skilled, and designed my hairline exactly like how we discussed. The procedure itself took about 5 hours. They also gave me detailed instructions for aftercare. Super happy with my new hairline. I don’t usually leave reviews on Google, but this whole experience has been great. Really grateful for the professionalism and kindness of everyone on the team.
