šŸ˜  It is really too bad I haven't read some of the reviews, because I would have never gone. DO NOT GO to this hospital! My husband has been admitted for a series of TIA (mini-strokes) on the 3rd floor. It has been really hard to flag a nurse or staff for help. Don't bother with pressing the nurse call... People often mention nurse, hospital, staff, care, room, patient, nurses, time, waiting, doctor,

It is really too bad I haven't read some of the reviews, because I would have never gone. DO NOT GO to this hospital! My husband has been admitted for a series of TIA (mini-strokes) on the 3rd floor. It has been really hard to flag a nurse or staff for help. Don't bother with pressing the nurse calling button or pull the emergency cord in the bathroom, because no one will come by. This happened at least 3 times while I was visiting and I had to go out and try to get someone. While I wasn't there, my husband had to go to the staff station while still connected to an IV drip to get help! He was throwing up and suffering from major headaches. He is recovering from a stroke for Heaven's sake and had to drag an IV drip around while unsteady! Find the picture attached, as I was saying no one was available and this is a common occurrence. Just know that your relative or loved one has the chance of dying by the time they discover it.

I had a routine outpatient procedure 2 days ago and after my experience I will NEVER return to this hospital that is a mile from my house. Any other hospital would be a million times better than here. First, I want to say this has to do with the nurses. Everything went smoothly initial and during the procedure. But when I got to recovery, I was hardly awake from the anesthesia when a nurse firmly told me I needed to get up and into a chair. I was struggling to wake up, my eyes were still closed and I felt extreme abdominal pain and nausea. FYI I have difficulty with anesthesia which was reported to the hospital staff . The nurse was screaming at me and completely uncaring. I asked her to stop yelling at me and she stated loudly she couldnā€™t deal with me and someone else needed to deal with me. Then walked away not even caring if another nurse was tending to me. When some of the pain subsided enough that I could sit up in the chair. Another nurse was chatting with the hostile nurse and looking at me. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. I felt that they just wanted people to get up and out instead of tending to patients that need more time to recover. A young blonde nurse was who ended up helping me. She was patience and kind. The other older nurse that helped her with me seemed annoyed with me. Thus, done of the nurses are cold, with no compassion towards their patience. I have many medical issues and have been treated at many hospitals in the area but I have never been treated so poorly by a nurse before this. It is appalling that this nurse choose this as a profession.

Medstar is single handily the best hospital (in my opinion) in Montgomery County. While they may get busy, the staff (i.e. nurses, doctors, etc) always treats you with respect & makes you feel important, and always puts your medical needs first.

Omg DO NOT COME HERE!!! The Nurses & Staff Are So Rude & Incompetent. The worse experiences I have ever had with medical staff was at this place!!! I repeat, do not go here. I have a whole story to tell but I will come back another day to tell that. Never been treated so badly in my life by medical professionals. This whole hospital needs to do a sweep!!! New Staff!!!

An absolute nightmare. Five hours in the ED waiting room AFTER the tests were done to get the results. The ED was still pretty full but people were getting their results and discharge packet.out, it was 1 a.m. and we were still waiting. My husband has Alzheimers and he was becoming increasingly edgy and restless. We finally left without results. I phoned after we got home. There was nobody available to help because there was only one nurse and not enough doctors. This is simply unacceptable. Perhaps Management needs to find some creative ways to staff up. Just do something.

In the past year I have had 3 experiences at this hospital regarding my grandmother. Every experience was terrible. Each time involved waiting in the ER for 8+ hours. We were told that only 1 doctor was working which seems absurd as this is no longer a small community hospital. Nursing staff was not kind and left my grandmother in deplorable conditions. I felt I had to be with her constantly because nursing staff would not help with her personal care. When I would ask for help nurses would say ā€œNot my patientā€ in a very rude way. As a family member hearing a nurse say ā€œnot my patientā€ sounds a lot like ā€œI donā€™t careā€. This was made even more frustrating by the fact that nurses who said this would be sitting at the nurses station chatting it up with their friends. Itā€™s hard to hear my grandmother literally crying while the nurses are in the hallway laughing. Beyond the terrible nursing care was a general lack in medical expertise. My grandmother was discharged at her ā€œbaselineā€ which was absolutely untrue. As prior to her admission she was walking, talking and independent and upon her discharge she could do NONE of these things. This place is terrible. If your situation is non urgent and you can get to another hospital that is probably for the best. Each time my Grammy was brought her by EMS and I have grown to dread it. The only kind people were custodial and dietary staff. The dietary staff was extremely patient when taking my Grandmotherā€™s meal orders and wished her a speedy recovery.

(Thursday. July 22, 2021) Been going here for quite sometime now. It's always great to see my doctor & the nurses that's there. They're all so nice & sweet. Including my doctor. I feel as if they all really care about how you're doing. It makes my day everytime I see them. (April 4, 2022)

PLEASE LET THIS PLACE BE YOUR ABSOLUTE LAST RESORT TO TAKE YOUR LOVED ONES FOR ANY HEALTH EMERGENCY. I work in healthcare I know how it feels when youā€™re short staffed, being overworked, and being overwhelmed but this place is horrible. The RNs were so unprofessional and show no sense of urgency when you ask for help. This is the first time EVER that Iā€™ve had a bad experience in the ER. Long story short My dad was bleeding heavily from his nose. He had huge blood clots coming out his nose and mouth. I go out the room I literally see one rn tall male with round glasses with accent. I go hey please someone come see my dad heā€™s bleeding a lot. This man literally looked at me and turned around and went back in to his triage room. This how your nurses act thatā€™s insane and unprofessional. I eventually got our nurse and asked her please go get the doctor. Her response was "he already saw your dad and told him what to do."I was stuck for a second and again repeated myself please go get the doctor! I felt like I was begging at that point.

My wife had a very bad fall and we went to the Emergency Department. The lady at the admissions desk was extremely rude, while on her personal phone, acted like we were interrupting her personal call by rolling her eyes and saying we were being rude to her. This kind of behavior is totally unacceptable especially when someone comes in, obviously in excruciating pain, with no concern for others. I was unable to get her name since she refused to give it to me. I understand the COVID thing but she should be trained in ethics instead of being behind a desk where she is the first person that a patient sees. Tried to file a complaint but wasn't able to since I couldn't get any help

My mom was taken by ambulance there last night. The only good employee was the greeter. The nursing staff was Horrible and lazy. The nurses at the nurses station never got up in four hours. They had one nurse that was trying to do everything. The doctor never came back to discuss her results. Our mom laid in soaking wet urinated on clothes for 3 hrs. One lady, I suppose was the charge nurse was rude and refused to acknowledge my sister. I have never experienced an Emergency Room that was so unprofessional and uncaring. My suggestion is if the staff is burned out, switch careers. Don't make patients pay. My mother is 85 yrs old, I would never let her go there without a guardian or one of her children.

I wanted to thank the Nurses, Doctors, Techs and ancillary staff at Montgomery General Hospital. My mother was just admitted today for the third time this month. Each time we came through the Emergency Room. The first two times the ED was overflowing with patients. The wait times were unbelievably long, the first visit we waited 6 hours to see the PA. The second visit we waited 7 hours to see the Doctor. Mother is 89 and this was extremely hard on her. During our wait things were happening though. After triage patients had labs drawn and IV's inserted then returned to the waiting room. Patients were taken for diagnostic testing and treatments were started right there in the waiting room. My mother had an IV medication drip going to treat her UTI. I noticed a gentleman who had been writhing in pain received a pain medication. A young woman was receiving hydration. Staff remained polite and attentive despite being under extreme stress and overwhelmed. A security guard assisted my mother to the restroom when I stepped away briefly much to my surprise and gratitude. I do not have all the names of people I would like to thank but I do have a few. Lisa E., Triage R.N. Kwesi C., R.N. Dr. Kelsi. Ramatu, R.N., Hope, Technician. Ezekial, Technician. Dr. Meyghani. The kindness, professionalism and compassion displayed by all is so appreciated. We are grateful you are there for us.

Iā€™ve never had such a horrible experience at Med star to the point where I felt the need to let others knowā€¦ We arrived a bit before 9:30 pm, itā€™s currently 2:23 am and weā€™re still in the emergency room because they donā€™t have enough rooms? All while Iā€™ve seen at least three families leave from the rooms area. I went as far to even ask a family during their discharge if they were placed in a room (now vacant) Iā€™ve been extra polite my whole time here despite most of the nurses being full of attitude. Things got worse when the security showed up, from speaking rudely to patients. One went as far as to bang on a metal side to make a loud sound to wake a patient to His vitals done. Personally I try not to care and mind my business but I canā€™t help but think the nurses are more interested in entertaining ridiculous flirtation (because thatā€™s what was happening)This May be a rant, but itā€™s an honest oneā€¦

The emergency room staff is superb. They were very attentive, kind and professional. Unfortunately, I was admitted on a holiday weekend and the weekend nurses on the floor left much to be desired. During the week was when the qualified and professional nurses came on board. They were attentive and always willing to help. By the way, the food was WONDERFUL!!!! No, really, hospital food is usually bland and gross. This food was well seasoned and very tasteful. I complimented the food staff daily on the food. I tried numerous dishes and all were great. I would go back just for the food.

Love Dr Weinstein and his office staff. Many improvements have been made here since my last visit. I was taken on time and had a very knowledgeable , efficient medical assistant. I have been with Dr Weinstein over 30 years and attribute my well being to his cardiac ability and expertise! He always listens to what I have to say and offers advice for problems I may have, in a timely, efficient manner. I strongly recommend this practice.

I am currently in the ED waiting for my family member to be discharged. Our nurse, Kim, has some of the worst bed side manner I've ever seen! She is rude, doesnt answer when the nurse call button was pressed... 10 minute wait, i had to approach the nurses station, but when she was in my family member's room she was answering her calls swiftly. She was also very condescending and instead of having any bit of empathy she's ignoring questions and clearly has an attitude. Perhaps Kim isn't having a great morning or shift, but her interactions with other patients seem curt too! Proper bed side manner is important, especially when people are in the ED!

Iā€™m not one to leave bad reviews, however I feel itā€™s important to inform future emergency patients of the lack of care and consideration my 84 year old mother received. She arrived by ambulance in extreme pain from a hip injury. She was pre-opted quickly and then sat in the emergency room waiting area amongst many others. About 2 hours into our wait, a young woman was vocally upset about waiting for 6 hours and without any help. Iā€™m writing this at 12:45am the day after we arrived at 5:30pm. Weā€™ve waited 7 hours and 15 minutes. Iā€™ve just spoke my concerns to the front desk and was informed that a doctor hasnā€™t been assigned to my mother yet. In speaking with other emergency room group, this what is expected at this facility. Iā€™m surprised that a large medical facility operates worse than a $12 car wash.

Where do I begin? Took a family member in via ambulance at 1030pmā€¦ waited in the waiting room lobbyā€¦ got called back for X-rays and ultrasoundā€¦ 2 hours later got called back to complete INTAKE paperworkā€¦ and we are still hereā€¦ it is currently 350am and we were told for a second time that the radiology report is pending, after I had checked with the nurse on the status. The nurse in the ER is the only one running around and stated ā€œweā€™re doing the best we can; this is one of the busiest days; it is what it is; we donā€™t have space; your patient is not at the bottom of the list as there are many people below himā€ so we and the rest of the people in limbo are sitting in this unsanitary lobby waiting for labs and just to talk to the doctor. I get that emergent cases get cared for first and we are not the only ones needing help - however my patient is sitting in a wheel chair unable to walk on his right foot and has major swelling and discomfort, as his foot dangles from the wheelchair because he canā€™t bend his ankle without extreme pain. Are we expected to just sit in the waiting room for another 5 hours before even speaking to anyone? ALSO worth noting, I went back to ultrasound with the patient because I am family - and the sonographer instructed the patient to remove his pants and get up on a bed. Where is a nurse? Where is the help? Absolutely unacceptable. We will never come back to this hospital if we can avoid it.

This place is a joke. The highlight of this visit is Keysha Bush. She was very polite. Did a wonderful job with my IV. Make sure I was OK but of course she's gone home with a joke even in the waiting room security staff for one African-American I don't know his name, he was Polite. The nurses back in the emergency room suck. Not only do they take bloodwork. They don't even explain what the hell they took. The nurses back here in the ER are horrible. . I'm basically gonna leave here and go somewhere different. They don't know what the hell they're doing here the doctor rushes doesn't want to talk to you don't make no damn sense do not come here. Dr. Yang is a joke

After being denied medical care at Howard county General hospital emergency room by security because they wanted to look inside my pocket book for no reason. Yes you now have to go through portable metal detector and be searched before you can go into the emergency room at Howard county General hospital. Which bewilders me. Anyway, I went to Montgomery Hospital emergency room and I am so glad I did! This hospital is what a true medical facility should be. First let me say that I was treated with the utmost respect and dignity. The professionalism of the staff is stellar. I told them what happened to me at Howard county General hospital and they reassured me that I would be in good hands and I was from the time I walked in, to the time I left. I really tried to get everyone name. Molly my nurse, you are the true definition of a nurse, I thank you so much, Dr. Waseem your bedside manners is undeniably graceful and caring, you listen and was very attentiveto my medical needs, thank you so much. Mr. Al who transported me to CT and kept me warm with the warm blankets, thank you so much. The nurse who took my vitals and the nurse who took my blood and the deck clerk amazing. I was blown away on how the Doctor calls your name to come inside...I am not sure if this is protocol however it was great to see Dr's interacting with patients on a personal level. Montgomery Hospital thank you for taking great care of me and please keep up the great job, I truly appreciate each and every one that took care of me.ā¤ā¤ā¤ā¤

Horrible, horrible experience. My daughter developed serious symptoms after being treated at the ER about when taken there via ambulance. When I took her there on 2/22/22, she was sent home with more severe symptoms as a result of her treatment there. My daughter's health has been jeopardized by the staff's treatment and neglect. No one knew what was wrong but came by to gawk at her feet. Use it at your own risk.

It took 9 hours to have my 94 year old confused, hard of hearing mother in law admitted from the ED after being sent there from medstar urgent care. At 1:00am we were told to return at 8am to see a doctor. When we arrived, we were turned away and told that nobody would be allowed in to see her. We could expect a phone call and goodbye. This hospital has KIDNAPPED my family member after being told to return at 8am and enter through the main entrance. And - I called patient advocacy and got a voicemail saying they may call back in 24 hours. Pitiful and disgraceful. Canā€™t even give her glasses and hearing aids.

The emergency needs to be remodel, the whole entire waiting room can here your personal business. Also the Doctor asking you about your personal business, horrible What Happened to Patient Privacy under the HIPAA Law. And security doesn't need to be asking you about your business before you see the nurse. Everyone personal business needs to be only there business not the entire waiting room. It needs to be behind closed doors..... Let's do better, and be professional when dealing with human beings..

I am writing this review for Ross and the crew at the Radiology Department on 6th floor front desk. Ross went above and beyond with the help of is co-worker to get all 3 of my orders scheduled for one day. He even called me when their was an issue because my primary care physician was not in system. He let me know what he had done and will do to rectify the issue. He later contacted me with the date and times for my appointments. I felt compelled to write a review because exceptional customer service is very hard to find. Also, I am a care giver to my sister who is in hospice, so I don't have a lot of free time so was very grateful that they took the time to take care of me with professionalism and kindness. Thank you guys so much. Futhermore, the staff in the back office were great also, they explained each step of the radiology procedures I was going to have and were friendly and very professional. I would gladly recommend this department to anyone who would ask.

Their visitor rules are absolutely absurd. I have to wait outside until the other visitor in the room (my daughter) comes down, leaving an elderly patient by herself. Can't visit before 11 am. Have to leave by 7 pm. I hope whomever set this policy never has to deal with an elderly patient using this hospital. What's the justication for such strict restrictions? It keeps getting worse. She was supposed to be sitting in a chair for an hour. It's been 2 hours and despite numerous requests, no one is around to get her back in bed. I guess they are short staffed and overworked.

ICU is a joke, nurses are all rude and have no bed side manner, communication is non existent. If you have a choice, pick another hospital. Nurses of the third floor - I know your job is not glamorous and can be less than desirable, but the people that are there need you to do your basic tasks and do them well! Changing a bed sheet after it has been wet or a mess that spills on the floor should not just be covered up with a blanket and stepped over! The ABSOLUTE WORSE staff I have ever seen in my life! Update: I spoke to Patient Advocacy at the hospital and she was able to have the nurse manager speak to me about this experience. Kathy, the patient advocate went above and beyond and I much appreciated her help. THANK YOU Kathy.

Great patient experience with Dr. C. F. Espinel and Medstar Health. He preformed my lumpectomy. I could not have asked for a better experience. From consultation to checking in to the hospital for surgery I was met with nothing short of kindness and understanding. First time I didn't just feel like another patient. Medstar has now set the bar for how I would like to be treated in a healthcare setting. Kudos to you guys! Thank you so much, I really appreciate it.

I went to the ER on 2/28/2024. I got there around 3pm and I didnā€™t leave until 2:15am. I was frustrated and angry and in pain. There were 2 things that helped me not give a 1 star. One of the nurses and the doctor were absolutely incredible. The nurse was extremely helpful and reassuring. He truly understood my frustration and we had a nice chat on the way from radiology back to the waiting area. When I finally saw the doctor the first thing he said was an apology for the wait. He truly took my frustration and anger seriously and made me feel much more calm. He was passionate and explained my diagnosis clearly and didnā€™t rush me at all. All the emotions I was feeling just went away when I was talking to him. He is the type of doctor we need more of. The wait sucked but at least the care I got was worth it.

I took my wife to the ER on thursday night(3/17), the intake nurse after the admission was extremely rude due my wife conditions wasnā€™t able to talk and I was explaining to her whatā€™s happening and she shut me up saying do not put words on her mouth(my Wife) I got to let her talk, at this point my blood pressure was very high with this woman, couldnā€™t see the name cause she reversed šŸ”„ her badge avoiding see her name, bad customer and patient service, when you seek medical attention itā€™s because you in need of help not deal with someone that itā€™s stressed and frustrated, I suggest to her do something else if you donā€™t have patience to deal with people. But the nurse who saved the night was inside when we reached the room, that nurse omg I will get something for her and appreciate her services that night.

Horrible as an HORRIBLE!!! Since MedStar took over itā€™s horrible there. How u even have a nurse at triage who canā€™t even speak English? He should have been at the back. Where do we report such things coz this is unacceptable. Never again I come to this hospital.

The Indian lady at the check-in counter at the ER on Sat Nov 25th 2024 is the most racist, useless, unfriendly individual I have ever encountered in a hospital in my life. Acting like I want to be hanging out in an ER. The charge nurse Delores on duty was just as nasty and unpleasant. Offering zero help or explanation towards the progress of the patient. Itā€™s the worst hospital Iā€™ve ever been to in America. They only care about money , no empathy, no sympathy etc from the staff there. Only the security guard actually tried to explain what was going on.

I live a few minutes walk fro Medstar Montgomery. We have needed the hospital for a few different reasons over the years. They have always been very good to us. The ER is super clean, organized, and quick, depending on circumstance. The surgical center has been comforting when surgery is necessary. Also very clean and organized. My primary car physician is associated with Medstar Montgomery. The electronic medical records is a great portal to anything you need.

I actually had a really positive experience going in here. The wait time was non existent (not normal hours) & the lady checking me in with the maryland flag lanyard gave me a nice smile while I was worried checking in. Nurses were nice & polite. The only thing is the doctor was huffing & puffing with me at one point because I asked so many questions, to the point I stopped & felt a little embarrassed. It just wasnā€™t that reassuring doctor feel, but I may have been his first patient of the day.

I was referred to this ER from the MedStar urgent care in Hyattsville to follow up on some abdominal pain I had after being in a relatively minor car accident yesterday. Today (mother's day, 5/14/23) I spent a total of 3 hours at this facility from when I walked in the door to when I was discharged. In that time I had an labs drawn, received a whole bag of IV fluids, and my CT scan after being examined by the PA (lovely gentleman, apologies for not remembering any names). This was a big positive difference from when I attempted to be seen at the ER at one of the UM facilities and spent 5 hours there without being seen by anyone other than the triage nurse who took my vitals and patient registration - though I understand my problem was not an emergency and others with more serious conditions were being seen first. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, with great attitudes towards myself/other patients as well as each other. They seemed to have a good sense of teamwork and collaboration. I also appreciated that the ER PA did not order a whole bunch of imaging that wasn't warranted - my CT results were clear for the appendicitis the urgent care PA was worried about, but did have some other non-urgent findings. Rather than wasting my time and money (and resources that other patients in the ER could get more benefit out of) by having it done while I was there in the ER, I was instructed to follow up as an outpatient at a later date. Hopefully I won't need an ER again anytime soon but I had a very good experience here and would recommend it.

My family member was brought to the ER by ambulance two weeks ago. My family members' nurse was rude and very unprofessional as she communicated to her patient, took it upon herself to change the patient's IV medication to pill form without orders from the doctor. The nurse told the patient that she would do that for her mother or father. That nurse was removed by the charge nurse from future care during the patients' stay. My family who had emergency lower abdominal surgery sat in feces for two hours before a tech or nurse responded. The patient asked the tech to change her, and the tech said she doesn't do that, it was the nurses responsibility. The tech, NOT the nurse, was rude and disrespectful in front of the patient to the nurse. She wasn't a team player with the nurse and hospital to decide who would tend to the patient's needs. That tech was also removed from the patient, never to return to her room. Today, I called the nurses staton, identified myself, identified the patient, I asked for the name and phone number of the nurse taking care of my family member. The person who answered the phone did not properly identify herself upon answering the phone. She said, "The name of the nurse is ________, and the nurses don't have phone numbers." I said, "Really!" The nurse replied, "Yes, really." I then asked, "Could I speak with the nurse?" And the person said in an unfriendly ubrupt manner, "I am the nurse." She did not have proper telephone etiquette, did not have a smile in her voice and was not helpful. She referred me to back to the patient and ended the call. Based on several negative experiences at this hospital, I will not recommend that hospital to anyone.

I was taken here of all the places in the DMV around Aug/Sept 2018 after being picked up by the paramedics. I hadnā€™t actually slept in days. I was pacing, couldnā€™t sit still, walking non stop. I had taken Seroquel looking to get some sleep. I had been rapidly tapered off in a month or two and then it was re-prescribed as needed 25mg for ā€œanxiety and panic attacksā€. I took 75mg knowing I used it for sleep before. No clue, I was desperate for sleep. I had been put on Phenobarbital like days before I ended up at this ER by the incompetent medical staff at Kolmac in Silver Spring. I felt so drugged after I took the Seroquel. I called the paramedics. They came and went after checking me. I passed out. Hours later I woke up and started feeling like I was burning. Paramedics were called again and I was taken to Medstar. I was really sick from being ripped off medications I had been taking for over a decade. I didnā€™t realize that disclosing I was in detox to safely get off the medication would make me look like an addict. I had no clue that if you take as prescribed you should not be going to detox. My quack doctor told me to go. We TRIED the ERā€™s looking for help and I was treated like an addict. I had no clue what was happening to me. It is horrifying to have undiagnosed Akathisia. Docs donā€™t mention the word or even describe it because they think itā€™s ā€œrareā€ I guess. I even made a mess of myself in the bathroom. I couldnā€™t stay in the room and when I came out looking frantically for help a nurse forcefully grabbed me by the arm and I guess dragged me back to the room and yelled at me to stay put. Guys!!! People coming off psych meds like in detox are not tapered. Years later I have put together I was ripped off over half a dozen medications and this must have contributed to the withdrawal AKATHISIA I have had for over 5 YEARS now. All of these hospitals in the DMV are a freaking JOKE!! Thanks for contributing to my CPTSD and not recognizing Akathisia or the simplest thing: withdrawal. I would continue to be told it was ā€œrebound anxietyā€ from coming off Benzos and opioids for TWO YEARS!! This kind of care is unacceptable.

I wish I could give them negative stars. I already have one apology letter in writing from the head of nursing for treatment I received in the ER. A year or so later I return - having a freaking HEART ATTACK - and was thrown out because I was majorly confused (side effect of my medication not being taken for days due to me being so ill) then thrown out topless, called a drug addict and told if I wanted sympathy to go to another hospital. I went to Shady Grove, who ADMITTED ME FOR HAVING A HEART ATTACK. This place is a death factory. They literally kicked me when I collapsed in the ER. This place is where you go if you want to die. Seriously. I live across the street and will never set foot in that place again. I have moved all of my doctors from Medstar completely and will not deal with anyone who works at Medstar. I drive an hour to Baltimore for Physical Therapy I can get 500 feet from my home. I almost died because of the staff here. Never again. No sorry note can cover what happened to me in this death trap. EDIT TO REVIEW AFTER MEDSTAR RESPONDS: All I have to say is Error 404 - Page not found. You literally sent me a dead link to explain what happened. I see how much you were interested in what happened. I stand by my statements.

4/14 was my first time in this hospital. I came via ambulance for asthma at 5am, the medical staff in the ED were attentive, professional and great. I was admitted to the 5th floor and had day shift nurse aviana I believe is how it is spelled and she was GREAT!!!! night shift I had Patricia and she was also great and kind. I canā€™t speak for the bad reviews but I had great nurses, doctors and respiratory therapists!

I love this hospital. I have never had an unpleasant experience here. The hospital is Always clean and inviting. The nursing staff are exceptional; Always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The therapists are very knowledgeable and helpful too. Even the cafeteria staff go out of their way to be helpful. The techs take great pride in their work and always make sure you are comfortable. The surgical staff are consummate professionals who are genuinely interested in your health and well being. Iā€™ve been in many of our areas hospitals. It is my experience that the care given and the overall quality of care provided at MedStar Montgomery is second to none.
