Do not go here. They actually have very good doctors but their system is ridiculous. They do not give the patient a visit overview after you've seen your doctor - no paperwork detailing your health protocol, new Rx or any changes to your Rx. Nothing. You're just supposed to remember everything that the doctor told you. If you have a question it is absolutely impossible to get in touch with your physician in any timely manner. If you call, someone takes your message and it gets forwarded to a messaging center before it gets to your doctor. If you use the patient portal communication isn't expedited as one would believe. The message does not go directly to your physician. It's a nightmare. I just tried to contact Mary's Center Georgia Ave. NW location to express my dissatisfaction with having a referral that is useless. When I contact the referring doctor's office which Mary's Center gave to me - the referring physician does not see their referral. So I cannot make the appointment. This place is a nightmare. Do not bother wasting your time, especially when you do not feel well. Oh! And when calling the Compliment and Complaint Line the message asks you to leave a detailed message but then you're placed on hold?! There isn't the option to "leave a detailed" message until after you're placed on hold for several minutes. It does not make any sense like everything else at this "medical" center. I don't know who the office managers are but they need to be let go or have to have comprehensive training because it is obvious that their entire system is flawed and badly.

I had the unfortunate opportunity of being seen by the most incompetent “doctor” I have ever met at this facility. Their handling of patients is comparable to that of a prison medical team. My insurance was charged for a visit that was less than 5 minutes long. My medical team didn’t do any of the lab work I requested and the was beyond rude. I’d compare their customer service to that of a McDonald’s but I wouldn’t want to discredit McDonald’s. Safe your life and go somewhere else.

Its a nice clinic, it’s very clean but it is nearly impossible to get an appointment. Last time I called, I couldn’t get an appointment because they didn’t have any dates available for that moth and the following month. It’s also pretty annoying that the first visit has to be on the phone then you have to schedule again to be seen in person, nobody has that much time in on there hands, it’s really frustrating.

Dealing with these people has taken five years off my life as well as my will to live. If you have no choice but to come here I would advise you simply stop having teeth. Honestly, this entire place is an indictment of the abysmal health care system in America. I'm assuming the front desk staff are literally paid in Trident gum. They have a couple of employees who are actually good but you will almost never be lucky enough to get one of them. Trying to schedule anything here is a nightmare because there is zero communication between the dental staff and the office staff, seemingly. Many of the office staff do not even know things as basic as what type of visit is required for each service, so do not bother asking them to explain. I've been trying to schedule a filling for the past two years with no success, and they also keep sending me to specialists without any of the proper forms required, which of course means I have to pay for out of pocket. I spent $150 to have a specialist tell me I don't need a root canal, only for the dentist at MC to try to send me to the same specialist again, to see if I need a root canal. I'm going to change my dental plan the next time I can, so that I can go to a dentist in FLORIDA in 2023. Please learn from my mistakes...don't bother coming here if you need anything more complicated than a cleaning. You have been warned!

I have had the worst customer service experience with this Center. I'm sad to hear from they canceled my infant baby's appointment & told me to wait for another 3 more months. They even don't care if she doesn't have her 4-month vaccination on time & extended it to her 7-month appointment. As a parent, I feel like they are negligent to my baby's life. No more at this center

Mary’s Center is a DEATH TRAP! DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE! They promise referrals that you never receive l, they deny life saving medications like breathing inhalers, antibiotics etc. Most of the staff either can’t speak English or understand English properly. They can’t set appointments properly they talk to adult as if your a child and don’t let me get started on the doctors who tell you they don’t know who to refer you to for you health problem and tells you to go ask another doctor at a separate facility and also tell you they have no idea what medication to give you then ask do you know what medication you want!!!! What doctor says that to a patient? Oh don’t ask for a supervisor or manager you’ll never get one. The worst office I have ever seen! Death Trap!

Near This Time, I Haven't Been Happy With Mary Centers Service. When I Had A Labratory Test They Had Never Told Me The Results, They also Cancelled My Daughters Appointment 3 Times because The Hygenist Wasn't Available! And at the same day where the apointment date was given, while I was on the road the had canceled it! They Dont Have any Care For The Patients! Its Imposible To Get A Doctor Appointment. And If You Do, It Takes A Long Time!

Used to like coming here for convenience purposes. Communication has always been a weakness for this facility, however it's gotten progressively worse. This company forces you to deal with a call center that isn't able to answer fairly basic questions. They claim they will have someone reach out but nobody ever does.

Takes literally forever to get an appointment. The staff does nothing to help you. Getting any information over the phone is always a hassle. Would not recommend this clinic to anyone.

I've been coming here for 6 years and have always been treated respectfully. My doctor listens and works with me. Communication (by phone especially) can be a bit of a headache, but the care is top notch. I've also worked with their behavioral health and had excellent experiences. Just stay away from their dental office. I don't know what's going on down there or who is in charge, but almost every interaction has been a hassle. And it's the only dentist I have ever gone to that schedules exams and cleanings separately.

Today I had a “9:30” appointment at the Georgie Ave location. The day before someone called me and confirmed with me for a 9:45 appointment and I had witnesses in the car with me that they said 9:45. I arrived today at 9:39 for my appointment and the rude Hispanic receptionist with braids said that I missed me 10 minute grace period. I explained that I was told that my appointment was at 9:45 but she had an attitude and repeated that I missed my grace period. I’m pretty sure that 10 minutes after 9:30 is 9:40 and she knew that I made the 10 minute grace period but still made me schedule another appointment. Don’t go to this location, the customer service is awful.

They will cancel your cancel appointment day of regardless of when you made it or even if you confirmed. They admitted that error was on there part, but the only solution they could offer me was having me calling back in on a later date to see if appointment were available another month out to reschedule.

I cannot write a poor enough review to reflect my experience with Mary's Center at 3912 Georgia Ave NW. Hindsight is 20/20 as I now read the reviews of SO many other dissatisfied patients. I went to Mary's Center for bloodwork, and after checking in at the front desk and seeing the doctor, I was told to wait in the lab area to have my sample taken. After waiting for OVER AN HOUR, I went to the front desk to inquire about why I had not yet been called back to the lab - I was number 103 in the queue and they were calling number 120, etc. They let me know that my provider had FORGOTTEN to mark me ready for labwork and I had waited for the last hour for no reason. When I went back to the lab, the techs apologized profusely and let me know that I should NEVER wait more than 20 minutes for bloodwork at a Labcorp Lab. Following this appointment, I was very dissatisfied. I had my bloodwork done on a Wednesday and called the following Monday, as I had not received results nor had I gained access to the patient portal. They said my results were not ready, and that it would take up to 7 days to receive my results. I understood and specifically asked that they send a message to the lab to call me directly once my results were ready. I waited until the next Wednesday (7 days) to call again. When I called on Wednesday, they clarified that they meant 7 business days, rather than exactly a week, until my results for ready. I asked them to check on my results, and they said they had not yet received the results, but someone from the lab would call me once the results were ready. I explained that my symptoms were worsening and the results were urgent. They claimed to have sent the urgent note through the system to the lab. Today (Friday), I called, 7 business days after my appointment. I asked if my labs were ready, and they said that unfortunately, they were not. I complained to them that I had been told that 7 business days was the maximum amount of time my results would take. I have had this bloodwork done at my usual provider many times before and the results have never taken more than 2 days. It is a very straightforward lab to run, but my usual provider did not have any appointments and had recommended Mary's Center. When they told me my results were not yet ready, they transferred me to the nurse triage line, where I was left on hold for 10 minutes just listening to music with no answer. I hung up the triage line and called again, letting them know that I was also unable to access the patient portal. They said they had sent the link to my email address, and I asked them to read the email they had for me back to me. Their email address for me had a typo in it, despite me having written it out for them correctly on my intake paperwork. They were able to fix the typo in their system and get me the link to log in to my portal. After logging in to my portal, I found that my results had been ready for a week. No one from the lab had called me with the results, despite my requests to do so. Moreover, I had called three times to check on my results and each time been told that my results were not ready, and as it turned out, my results had been ready the ENTIRE TIME. This is incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I am glad to finally have my results, but will absolutely NEVER be returning to Mary's Center for my medical needs, and strongly urge anyone reading this review to save themselves the hassle and steer clear of Mary's Center.

The laboratory is not actively working, if you go for blood work they don't called you. Time is immaterial for them, I waiting more than one hour to get the service and doesn't follow the order of line too.

I’ve been going to Mary’s center for years, i always got prompt and correct diagnosis and prescriptions. Recently i went THREE times for the same health problem I’ve had for two months now because what they gave me didn’t help. First they gave me an antihistamine, then they gave me an anti allergy over the counter medicine. Nothing helped and on my last visit i was told this exactly: “you have a viral infection you can sleep off and make go away with gargling salt water” was what i was told on my last visit. No follow up or nothing. I ended up in the hospital getting an x ray of my lungs because it got to the point where it wouldn’t let me sleep. I’m never coming back here again as a patient.

I wish I can give them less than one star. This Mary center at Georgia Avenue is the worst medical center I have ever seen. I had a very bad customer service experience with the referral department, they are worst because of their mistake, We lose two doctor appointments for my mom. While we see my mom doctor on June 2023 she wrote us a new referral they back date at 2022. While the doctor signe on June 2023. They just want you to listen them they don’t wanna hear anything from your side. They are mannerless unprofessional they just keep putting you on hold and forward your call to other department. Now I see why all this people have complained and give such reviews.

As someone familiar with the uncomfortable, yet popular, stigma of being on state insurance; I am used to being treated like a number instead of a person. Mary’s Center treated me like a person, with no limit to their generosity or kindness. The appointment was exactly on time, I felt safe and comfortable the entire time. Thank you to all the staff there!

Too many people to be seen and a check up with labs is at least 3 hours or more ….labs is the worst they take forever to call you and remember it is lab corp they are not in the same management system with Mary Center so be ready to spend half of your day here…I’ve been to the fort totten location way better but it is so hard to get an appointment there

I go to Mary’s Center for mental health services, and have had a great experience with that. So as an existing patient, I figured it would be easy to schedule an appointment for physical health. Nope. I made an appointment three weeks ago, and when I called day-of to confirm my appointment time, they had CANCELED it and never told me! No phone call, no voicemail, no email, nothing on the patient portal. Now I have to take more time off from work to go to a different location. This wouldn’t have been an issue if I had had ANY advance notice… super unprofessional. Glad I called so I didn’t waste my time getting over there.

Horrible experience 2 hours for an appointment where they tell you to arrive earlier, no matter how early you arrive they always take time to attend to you, my appointment was at 2:45 pm and I arrived at 2:00 pm it is 4 in the afternoon and I continue here. Nothing professional, they don't think about people's time, they have you waiting like you have all the time in the world. Too bad I can't give a 0 star. I hope that people who don't like doing their jobs and don't care about people's time are paid in the same coin. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE

I arrived at my doctor's appointment, I had to wait for the receptionist to call me, she was doing her nails and she wasn't calling the numbers. I think they should respect the work and see that the relatives deserve to be cared for.
