This
location
is
usually
fairly
decent
but
definitely
not
consistent
by
far.
I
bought
my
husband
in
because
he
had
just
been
released
from
the
hospital
after
having
a
major
disc
removal,
nerve
decompression
surgery
in
his
neck.
The
day
before,
he
had
a
nerve
ablation
procedure
in
his
lower
back.
With
all
o
that,
it
is
hard
for
him
to
walk
or
do
anything
for
that
matter
with
the
tight
brace
around
his
neck.
He
had
complications
from
anesthesia
after
surgery
which
caused
constant
and
relentless
extreme
vomiting/dry
heaving,
lack
of
appetite
and
having
to
take
his
medications
on
an
empty
stomach.
The
hospital
went
through
four
or
five
different
anti
nausea
medications
before
they
found
the
one
that
actually
worked
before
releasing
him.
The
problem
was
that
the
hospital
forgot
to
call
in
that
particular
medication
to
our
pharmacy
because
the
nurse
at
the
hospital
rushed
us
out
during
discharge
instructions.
I
get
it.
You
have
a
lot
of
patients
but
details
are
important
during
discharge.
Once
we
left
and
I
realized
this
prescription
was
missing
from
the
pharmacy,
I
called
the
number
on
the
discharge
papers
and
I
could
not
get
in
touch
with
the
department
at
the
hospital
because
this
was
a
Sunday
I
guess.
I
have
no
idea
why
I
didn't
get
a
call
back.
All
I
could
do
was
leave
a
message
and
wait
for
a
callback
which
I
never
received.
In
the
meantime,
I
figured,
I
would
bring
my
husband
to
our
local
Patient
First
(11/14/22)
to
get
the
anti-nausea
medication
so
that
he
could
at
least
get
a
good
nights
sleep
without
the
constant
vomiting/dry
heaving
every
10
minutes.
It
was
definitely
more
crowded
than
usual.
I
get
it.
I
was
trying
to
explain
to
the
staff
that
my
husband
could
not
sit
for
a
long
time
because
of
the
brace
on
his
neck.
I
explained
that
he
had
just
undergone
back
and
neck
surgery.I
told
them
that
he
could
more
comfortably
wait
in
the
car.
That
request.
IGNORED,
He
was
treated
as
a
number
and
shown
no
compassion
and
told
to
come
in,
get
vitals
and
wait
in
the
exam
room.
I
borrowed
the
wheelchair
to
get
my
husband
from
the
car
since
he
could
barely
walk
because
of
the
weakness
and
vomiting.
I
explained
to
the
in-take
nurse
as
to
what
was
going
on
with
him.
Noone
cared.
They
stood
around
in
a
bunch
laughing
about
their
personal
lives
and
goings
ons.
No-one
checked
on
my
husband
for
over
2
hours
while
he
sat
on
that
hard
cold
exam
table.
I
asked
again
if
he
could
wait
in
the
car
until
the
doctor
could
see
him
since
he
couldn't
lay
on
the
exam
table
or
sit
in
a
wheelchair
for
that
long
being
cold
and
extremely
weak
and
vomiting
with
a
brace
on
his
neck.
We
were
brushed
off
and
I
was
extremely
patient.
I
couldn't
listen
to
laughing
and
joking
anymore
outside
of
the
curtained
room.
My
husband
was
SUFFERING.
I
put
my
husband
back
in
a
wheelchair,
put
him
in
the
car
and
left.
No-one
tried
to
stop
us.
They
just
watched
us
leave
as
my
husband
was
vomiting
in
a
bag.
They
just
told
him
"put
your
mask
on
sir".
How
can
you
pull
up
his
mask
when
you're
vomiting
and
dry-heaving
constantly?
No
compassion!
We
just
left
and
decided
to
suffer
through
the
night
until
we
could
reach
his
neuro-surgeon
or
doctor's
office
the
next
day
for
a
simple
anti-nausea
medication
that
the
hospital
forgot
to
call
in.
Again,
this
was
a
Sunday
so
the
pharmacies
we
used
were
closed.
I
know
some
medical
professionals
just
treat
people
like
numbers
but
it
really
shouldn't
be
that
way.
They
would
not
want
a
member
of
their
family
to
treated
this
way.
To
top
it
off,
PF
will
bill
the
insurance
company
and
get
paid
for
this
visit
and
there
is
absolutely
nothing
the
patient
can
do
about
it
because
we
are
just
regular
working
citizens.
If
the
insurance
company
doesn't
pay,
then
the
patient
will
have
to
pay
the
entire
bill
so
Patient
First
has
no
accountability
for
this
poor
service.
My
husband
could
have
been
in
and
out
of
there
so
fast
and
his
priority
level
should
have
been
raised
due
to
the
condition
that
he
was
in.
I
know
that
everyone
has
a
story
but
conditions
should
be
prioritized
and
people
should
be
treated
with
dignity
regardless.
