This isn’t Quality First anymore - it was purchased by FirstCall. The previous practice was phenomenal, with virtually no wait times. This practice promises services they can’t offer, have you wait three hours for four people ahead of you (literally), and then tell you they indeed can’t perform the service they promised after you’ve paid a copay and waited. It’s a shame that they’re using the previous company’s excellent ratings to make their reviews get averaged out - I recommend you take a look at the recent reviews as compared to the ones from several months/years ago.

I arrived at 3:10. Got checked in at 3:16 and they told me an hour because I had 5 patients ahead of me. Meanwhile they have been telling everyone checking in after me the same thing. Someone who came in 15 minutes after me was told 5 patients. It’s 4:45 and they’ve taken back I want to count 6 people. The same patient next to me who checked in 15 minutes after me was told “there’s 3 people ahead of you” and the patient says “so you’ve seen 2 people in an hour and a half?” The worker goes “we’ve seen 4”. This place is ridiculous. There were people who got there after me and checked in and were there for physicals for school and were in and out. Yet all the sick people had to wait over 2 hours to be seen.

I visited the facilities for a Covid test. Not took long after, I get a bill requiring me to pay a co-pay. I check my explanation of benefits EOB and I saw that in addition to billing for the diagnostic pathology, they also billed me for medical care! I did not receive any medical care that day! I didn’t even make it to a patient room. I was sat in the hallway, swabbed by a technician and I left. No medical professional spoke to me or provided me with any medical advice or care. Yet they saw no issues billing me. I have been contacting them since I got the bill and so far, they are refusing to remove. It is too bad that their billings practices are fraudulent. They are not upfront about anything and we just get surprised bills. Very frustrating because their providers are very nice and professional.

Easy and pleasant experience. My husband, my 2y/o toddler and I went for Covid pcr and rapid testing this morning. We walked around back, without an appointment, and were greeted with a pleasant explanation of the process. The staff person who tested my toddler was fast and made the testing tolerable. We all were back in the car about 15 minutes after arrival. I’d definitely recommend this location.

The staff who run the tent are courteous and quick. My frustration was with lack of signage. Testing is around back in the alley - there is a sign out front of the urgent care, but since I had called, someone could have mentioned it in the call. It’s literally a white tent in the back alley, so park as soon as you enter the parking lot on that immediate corner and then walk to the back. We had no wait at all. They have an assembly line system set up which makes them highly efficient - 1 checkin, 1 pay, 1 questions 1 swabs. The swabbed ‘boogie man’ was great with my kiddo who was less than thrilled to have her brain tickled. We’d definitely return here in the future.

Do not use this place until they get their billing situation under control. I see other reviews indicating the same. Receiving bills marked 120 days past when it’s the first bill we’ve receive- and these DOS are for covid testing! We did not see a Dr. we’re being billed a new patients Dr. visit. On top of all of that, they haven’t even sent this to our insurance so these bills are for hundreds pf $ - lastly, I’ve attempted multiple times to contact them on their billing line, via the portal, etc., and I’ve gotten no response.

We’ve been going to Quality First for our COVID tests and I love how fast and efficient they are, but we needed an in office visit. I haven’t had great experiences with other urgent care centers and I thought that all the good reviews for this particular urgent care was based on the accessibility of getting tested for COVID. I must say the appointment was amazing! The practitioner really took time to listen to us and did a thorough assessment. I was quite impressed. I highly recommend!

This was by far the BEST experience I had with an urgent care facility. I took my 2 year old son (on the autism spectrum) for treatment. The staff were courteous, attentive and efficient. We arrived a little after 9am and we were finished and leaving the facility by 9:45am. A great experience! This will be our preferred location moving forward.

Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The staff was was exceptional as far as asking questions and making sure everything was completed.i am so glad there is a descent place, like this in our neighborhood. We will be going back whenever we have a an urgent matter.

Contrary to some reviews on Google, I’ve used this clinic many times in the past 4 years and have always met caring and courteous staff. Possibly it is quite quiet but everyone is available and considerate. I’ve only had to wait for a while twice and today was not more than a 5 minute wait. It is definitely my easiest option for a quick doctor or appointment.

Best service so far. Been here several times but today my toddler was seen by Ms. Charrika PA-C. She is amazing. My son was super comfortable and she took great care. Ask for her, she is the best there.

I had the best and fastest service ever at an Urgent Care! I had maybe a 5 minute wait then I was taken to the back. The front desk was friendly and courteous. The PA was great! Great bedside manner and very genuine demeanor! I was in and out in about 30 minutes. I would definitely return to this office!

I was taken in pretty quickly as a new patient. Waited a while for the provider, everyone was very friendly, nice, and pleasant. Got quick treatment once I was seen I was sent on my way. Very organized and nice place to go for any urgent needs!

From the minute I called at 8:02 this morning and Alex answered the phone in the most gracious and positive way, I had a superb experience. I met Griffin, Maddie and then Dr. Murphy. Staff were extremely polite, patient, gracious, & answered all my questions without a trace of impatience. This is not the first time I have come to your clinic. Though I don't live so close, it is worth it to me to come to get treated by such a wonderful staff. Thank you.

No wait times! Fast & excellent quality of care! I chose this urgent care based on great reviews. I am grateful for the NP, Kyung Yoo. He treated my sinus & ear issues. The visit took 25-30 minutes.

I was so happy that the quality first urgent care in Burtonsville could get me in so quickly within a half hour of making the appointment! There was no wait as they took me right back and within minutes the provider met with me. Anthony Murphy was a good listener and very personable And I would highly recommend him. The only downside which explains the four stars instead of five if that my prescription was sent to the wrong pharmacy which was a bit inconvenient. Fortunately, quality first urgent care head shot me a email or a text for me to review the prescription which explained why The prescription was not at GIANT pharmacy in Burtonsville as it had been sent to CVS down in Calverton. If I had not received that text to review my prescription, I would’ve been waiting a long time here at GIANT. On the hall, this is the best urgent care that my husband and I have experienced over the years.

I was seen promptly and ladies at front desk were very cordial. The nurse practitioner was thorough and helpful. He explained medications prescribed thoroughly.

I cannot speak positively enough about the Burtonsville quality first Covid testing center! The staff is always so polite and helpful. For someone wrangling three little children for testing, the staff is amazing. Highly recommend!

I had a stye (eye infection) and they were able to see me so quickly. I really appreciated that because I didn't want it to get worse and have to go to a specialist or the ER. The waiting area was orderly and clean. All the staff including the physician assistant was very polite and kind and they were still using masks (other ppe). I really appreciated that because it felt like they cared about my health

I procured a rapid COVID 19 test from Quality First Urgent Care and the whole process was prompt proficient and cordial

I’ve unfortunately had to visit Quality First several times throughout the pandemic for PCR tests. The experience is always efficient, professional, and friendly. You can book an appointment online and they have a tent set up around back where they process you through for the test. The whole procedure usually takes less than 10 minutes. If you get your test done early enough in the day you can also get same-day results. I hope I don’t have to visit ever again, but it’s nice to know the process will be comfortable if I do.

Took my mom age 99 to have her seen for possible pneumonia/bronchitis. The entire staff was excellent. Front n nurse, Candace- nurse practitioner n Eva were all very helpful and supportive. Rx called in before came back in room was excellent by me so mom didn’t have to wait much longer to get home. Keep up the great work Urgent Care!

Second time I've been to quality care and I've had a great experience. Website is very useful and easy to book your appointment. Front desk are friendly and staff are very helpful and caring. Today I visited for covid test and technician was very kind.

Been using Quality First for both COVID tests and urgent care visits and had a great experience. I've also worked with their billing department who was great to work with/didn't complicate the process at all. All good experiences.

This visit was worth more than 5 stars. I set up an appointment online. Got there and was taken straight to the back after some Quick paperwork. The MA swabbed me for strep and COVID. Said it would be 10 mins for results. Before I knew it the Dr was in and checking me out. My appointment was at 10:40 and I was out the door at 10:55am. Excellent bedside manor and quick and efficient service.

I came as a walk in and was immediately registered and taken to an exam room where a preliminary history was done. I was seen by a Nurse Practitioner who was terrific. She reviewed her findings, made sure I understood my plan for care and discharged me with instructions to call if I had additional questions.

I’ve visited Quality First Urgent Care several times when not feeling well and/or needed to be Covid tested. Each time they treated me with the upmost care, answering any questions I have, and provided suggestions for at home treatment which helped greatly. The facility is very clean, organized, and they take pride in there work. Appointments and office hours are very convenient. I highly recommend them for your wellness needs.

Was seen the same day when my primary office protocol was to do a virtual call then determine if I needed to been seen. Was taken care of immediately by a courteous and professional staff. I was seen by Karen who I immediately felt comfortable and had a great connection with. I have been to this location other times as well and will now be my go to from this point on. Both the Covid testing and regular care for is efficient, professional, and I think above and beyond in the humanity in caring for folks. We had a really great experience with the nurse practitioner there, and just an overall really good experience. Thank you for the work that you do and the truly great care you provide.

This establishment has been a blessing during the pandemic. The staff is professional, courteous, and hard working. They have been the go-to place for testing throughout the pandemic - even during the peak COIVD times. Their commitment to fast turnaround time and to accommodate patients with urgent testing needs through walk-ins must be greatly appreciated.

This place is clean the staff are smart and helpful. They got us in fast and treated my daughter quickly and efficiently. The PA was a Resp. Therapist as well so she really knows her stuff. I'm a nurse and don't impress easily but they did a great job

This place is the best!! The staff are courteous, friendly and helpful, and their instructions are crystal clear as day. I've had over 10 COVID tests done for travel/exposure and the process has been the same since the beginning of the pandemic. Highly recommend this place and can't say enough good things about them! Do not go here unless you want to incur sneaky additional charges. We were told this was a great place to go for quick, fast COVID test results. We liked the ease of getting in and that you DID NOT NEED AN APPOINTMENT- you didn’t see a medical professional, you didn’t have to sign in or talk about your symptoms- the testing was OUTSIDE, so you didn’t even go into the building. Quick, straightforward covid testing… until you get your statement (six months after the fact), and are charged for an “office visit” in addition to your COVID test. When I called billing they could also not give me a straightforward reason why I was billed for just an “office visit” when the government was paying for free covid testing, and why that “office visit” is the same cost as my “office visit” + covid test when the government was no longer covering covid tests. Something is sketchy about the way they run their billing dept. and while I appreciated the fast covid testing, I won’t be back because of their shady billing practices.

I went for a walk-in visit today and the front desk checked me in accordingly per my symptoms, the wait time for the provider was not very long at all. Within an hour I was evaluated, labs collected and processed , my prescription was sent to my pharmacy. The staff was courteous and explained everything to me. Nurse practitioner Dawn and her student were both wonderfully quick and thorough.
