Just had drinks, looking forward to coming in to try the food... Margaritas were good.

We ate at the food truck. Nothing we ordered had flavor. Everything was bland. My lingua tacos tasted like a cow farm smells. Just chopped up boiled tongue meat that still had the outter skin of the tongue on it. Took a bite of my kids ground beef taco and the most flavorful thing were the tomatoes. We threw away $30 of the $40 of food we ordered. Won't be back. Only reason for 3 stars is because the workers were polite and quick.

Chips and salsa are very good (but no refills) 🤔 . The food...I think they are still trying to figure things out. Which I understand being a new restaurant. We were here twice and ordered the same dish, and both times, it looked different. One time had avocados and 3 shells on the plate, and the second time, 2 shells and no avacados. I will still give them another try because they are new and the food was very good! But, please refill my chip basket! 😜

Haven't been to the restaurant yet but have tried the food truck. The nachos are good. The elote was eh, I could tell the corn came from a can l, then soaked in butter. Maybe going to the restaurant will be better.

Meat was dry. Food had no flavor. The Bloody mary was like drinking tomato flavored water with salt around the rim and a lime.

A series of mistakes really showed the professionalism of the staff. Story time. I had an odd order that I placed online. Some pancakes, and burrito dinner, because the kids wanted pancakes. Everything went through just fine from their website. When I arrived they informed me that the website ordering system was down. The awesome guy behind the counter said "give me 10 minutes and I will have it made for you". He then accidentally re-ran my card because I added 4 sodas to go, which he promptly voided. My order was made how I wanted it and it was amazing. My only complaint is now my kids are covered in chocolate peanut butter pancakes and syrup (joking). His quick service and welcoming attitude made me forget that I my order was technically messed up twice. How you fix your mistakes says more about you than the mistakes themselves, and he was stellar!!! 10/10 I will be returning, and if the gentlemen who helped me on 9/23/23 around 5:30pm reads this. Thank you! :)

My husband and I went to Cocina Caliente for dinner on 8/18. It was our first time there and we loved the food! Very friendly staff and a clean restaurant. Freshly prepared warm tortilla chips and salsa were brought to our table. I ordered the chicken flautas and my husband had the steak tostadas. Both dishes were DELICIOUS!! The black beans were outstanding!!! We will definitely be back for more! The one thing I would recommend to the restaurant is bringing plates and napkins out to the customers while they are eating the chips and salsa. We also had to ask for silverware when our meals arrived. These were very minor issues.

I was pleasantly surprised with the food. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, this is the spot in Oak Creek, they were attentive, friendly and welcoming. I can’t wait to go back!
