The dining experience at Heirloom Kitchen was so warm and welcoming. The open kitchen makes for a culinary experience that is very sensory driven, which I really enjoyed. And to top it off the staff was very nice and very attentive. The category New American Restaurant is perfect for them because the food that was served was innovative, beautifully plated & delicious. This place would be great for private events or a romantic dinner for 2! Will definitely be going back!

The food and staff here is incredible. We dined here for the first time last week and sat at the chefs counter which. Watching them cook and prepare the food was very cool! We chose to dit at the chefs table but we didn’t realize how much there would be going on there. We were seated closest to where they plate the food and it was very hectic since they are constantly yelling for the servers after the food is plated and then the servers walk right by to grab the plates. So maybe just don’t choose that spot if you’re looking for something a little more private or romantic. However, our waiter was fantastic and watching them cook and prepare the food was very cool. And the food was delicious! The cavatelli & halibut was amazing. We will definitely be coming back to try their new Thursday night specials!

It was our first visit here and we decided to try the Thursday Night Special as a date night. The special included an appetizer, entree and dessert for two. Each course was thoughtful in texture, flavor and composition with generous portions for two. The service was outstanding and the atmosphere is both lively with the open view of the kitchen and intimate with the set up of seating groups. Will def be back!

Came here for special occasions & cooking classes ever since they opened. Most recently for their tasting at the chefs table. Never disappoints, always delicious & fun. Friendly & educational staff. Highly suggest & will dine again soon.

One of my favorite restaurants ever. Always a high quality experience from service to the silverware. So much thought goes into every aspect and the servers really set the bar high to create an unforgettable experience. We’ve been fortunate enough to have Mike serve us regularly and I can’t wait to dine here with all my friends and family. Every menu item is exceptional - both in presentation and taste. Best restaurant in NJ hands down.

Excellent service, nice atmosphere, amazing dishes. Was our first time, went on Thursday night for the special and it did not disappoint... my wife and I were very satisfied. Deviled Eggs, Roasted Carrot Salad with Yogurt and Lime Dressing, Fried Brussel Sprouts, Buttermilk Biscuits with Roast Garlic Spread & Key Lime Pie. Sorry, pie was fine before I realized I didn't take a pic lol. But it was incredible. Definitely will be back. 👍 👍

When the staff asked me how my dinner was my initial response was simply "Holy Sh*t"...he informed me he would share my review with the Chef : ) I was left speechless by the exceptional service and meal prepared for Cheryll and I while celebrating her birthday at this desired spot she's read about for some time. From the greeting to being sat in the very cozy and welcoming dining room that overlooks the open kitchen you're cared for by the attentive staff who check on you often and insure that you are enjoying the variety of dishes produced by the expert staff in the kitchen. Each dish was well plated and simply looked enticing which did not fail to impress once enjoyed by the first to last bite. Cheryll started with Cantaloupe Gazpacho which was the best either of us has enjoyed. I started with Steak Frites Tartare, deviled egg purée and jalapeno ketchup which showed you quality beats quantity every time. A few thick fries in the most delicious toppings to start the journey into their prixe fixe meal. Second course included Creole Cannelloni with crab bechamel, stracciatella and corn relish that I have never tried but will add to my goto list after this experience. It was the most flavor intensive treat. Just try it, no need for further explanation. Our mains were Cheryll enjoying her goto Scallops and me diving into the duck. Both dishes were beautifully plated and prepared to perfection. The signature Duck breast is consistently on their menu for a reason. It was the best I have every enjoyed and I have tried a variety of duck dishes at some wonderful spots. We will certainly return for this made such an amazing first impression from the staff on the floor and in the kitchen to the consistently delicious and impressive dishes that were placed in front of us to enjoy throughout the night. Thank you to the crew at the Old Bridge location for giving Cheryll a birthday memory.

It’s not enough to say that this the two times I’ve visited this restaurant that I had dinners so good I could cry. There are very few words available to describe the immaculate presentation, attention and friendliness of the staff, abundance of flavors, and high quality food you can order at Heirloom Kitchen. I’ve had two very different combinations of their menu and was impeccably satisfied. Ignore the price on the menu. This place does some of the best meals in the state as far as I’m concerned. I dare you to find somewhere better.

The food was so pretty! Very tasty but short of mindblowing. The cook on everything was absolutely perfect. The meats were tender and juicy, the sauces were super fun, every dish had so many carefully arranged compontents. However getting a seat at the counter was by far my favorite part (indicative of the number of photos of the staff mid preparation). It is housed in a strip mall and the restaurant didn't make it onto the sign so be on the look out. It's on the expensive side but you definitely get what you pay for and it was worth the splurge.

The food in itself is from chef to table, everything is made fresh with a beautiful plating. The way they deliver food transforms your experience from gastronomy to art. Everything is well balanced, bright and colorful and tasty. They offer mocktails and they sell wines the chef usually recommends to pair with the food.

Heirloom Kitchen was a true treat. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by top notch service. The restaurant, which is also a cooking school, has three areas for dining the front counter, a counter seated further back, but higher and table seating. We had the four course menu and each course was better than the previous. Every single dish was cooked to perfection. Our server, Captain Noah was amazing and met our every dining need.

My husband and I have been coming to Heirloom for years and have never been disappointed with the food, the staff, or the service. It’s genuinely such a pleasure to treat ourselves every once in while! From the moment you walk in, you’re treated like a VIP and the staff truly make the night memorable. Noah and Kristin are the duo that we always look forward to seeing, and we always have some great laughs together. What we love most is trying all of the new dishes on their rotating menu. Each dish is beautiful to look at and tastes delicious. Of the many dishes we’ve tried, we can’t pick a favorite. We commend you Chef!

Our second visit to Heirloom Kitchen was just as delicious as the first! The prix fixe menu makes date night a breeze, and you can’t go wrong with any of these farm-to-table selections! Presentation is (literally) chef’s kiss, and staff are all extremely friendly and helpful! Highly recommend the Everything Spiced Bialys as an add-on as well. Lovely little wine selection, again with which you can’t go wrong, and if you can’t finish the bottle, they will seal it up for you to-go. Hoping to come back for a cooking class soon!

Genuinely a fantastic experience. Somehow combines the best parts of fine dining (service, ingredients, creativity), with a fun atmosphere that makes you feel like you're a regular with a standing reservation every weekend. Not sure why I have waited so long to try this place. It really is great. And the best part is they take full advantage of NJ's absurd BYOB/liquor license laws and serve---- I mean sell bottles of wine at retail price. Staff has awesome chemistry which creates a contagiously enjoyable experience. Try this restaurant if you haven't already. You're getting a city meal at suburb prices.

Absolutely amazing experience! Not just a restaurant, an EXPERIENCE!! Magnificent food-to-table restaurant. Probably one of the best in New Jersey. Very cool and hip group of young chefs are creating dishes that are spectacular.

Such an amazing time. Great vibe, excellent service, and the most delicious food. Finally went for my birthday dinner and haven't stopped thinking about it since. I had the vegan menu which was fabulous!

My daughter and I went there for a pasta making/ sauce making experience. We had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, and the chef was so relaxed yet informative! It really was a perfect experience!

Every dish is made with perfection. 4 course Prix Fixe menu for 89$ offers an array of choices for vegetarians, pesceterians and omnivores like me . I got the salmon tostada, crab fritter shrimp mousse, short rib and apple crumble and my husband got the pork torchon, ribs, duck and chili masa brownie. The place is BYOB. We Came here on a date night after researching multiple restaurants. They called twice to confirm our reservation. It’s a small place so it’s understandable. However when we came in our table was not ready and was asked to wait for 25 mins. In the mean time we were seated at one spot in front of the kitchen. After a while we settled in there and wanted to stay on but again we were forced to move. That was not very pleasant. Taking away one star for that. The food was on point. Our server Nikolai was genuinely very nice and thoughtful.

One of the best dining experiences I've had in 15 years. Pure fun. I went with my 12-year-old daughter and we sat at the Chef's table on the plating side. Everyone was fantastic and friendly. We got to see all of the different dishes and how they were prepared and plated. The menu was fantastic. Very much looking forward to returning.

Came here last night with three friends and i must say the experience was incredible. Every dish we ordered was perfectly balanced and served beautifully. Our waitress offered a wine recommendation which was great. She, and every other server were very attentive and the manager was a pleasure as well. Could not put together one complaint about this place from the food to the atmosphere and service, everything was wonderful. Felt very compelled to write a great review. Highly recommended, and I will surely be returning.

Overall Fantastic food & drinks. Impeccable service. Quaint yet comfortable atmosphere. A perfect meal out for a special occasion. Since it is prix fixe my wife and I intentionally ordered opposites for each course so we could share but we did feel there were obvious standouts between our chosen options for each course. The non standout dish was still very very good though.

Wonderful, wonderful dinner! Do not be put off by the strip mall location. Space is lovely and enjoyed the open kitchen. Our meal was delicious. Each dish was perfection. Luckily there were 3 of us so we were able to try almost every dish on the 4 course prix fixe. Service was excellent. Can't wait to visit again.
