We had dinner with friends the other night. We sat inside by the kitchen. It was very cozy and comfortable Everyone liked their meals. We had an amazing grilled octopus appetizer and few other delicious apps. The main courses impeccable. The Dessert 👍👍👍 The staff was amazing great service! Thank you again guys. Keep it up!!

il Nido was a dream! Phenomenal service, food, and atmosphere. My husband and I were the first ones there so we definitely got to soak in the ambiance. For appetizers we ordered the wagu meatballs, squash flower (special) and the grilled octopus. It was all delicious and intentional. For our entrees my husband ordered the filet mignon and I had the cicao de peppe with truffle. Both dntress were ridiculously delicious. Every bite is flavored. The filet was charred... seasoned to perfection and tender! My pasta was cooked perfectly and the flavors were peppery, salty, earthy, just heavenly! For dessert we did the banana bread. Perfect way to end the dinner. Cocktails we had were Island Time & Pink Lady. Both drinks made great, however Pink Lady was elite! We spent $300 and feel it was well worth it. We'll be back and plan on bringing the family!

The food and service was great. Highly recommend for anyone who is looking for high quality food and service. The pasta dishes was just right, the aged ribeye was medium rare as we like it and the wagu short rib was the star of the night. Don’t forget the dessert, blood orange panna cotta with honey comb is a must try if you like the taste of sweet and citrusy. We will return to try the other dishes.

Every aspect of the experience from the food to our waitress Erica was outstanding during our visit. The menu offers unique dishes, and every one we ordered was delicious ( pictures attached ). During our meal you could see the owner checking on the kitchen and tables… you can tell this is a restaurant that cares about every detail from the top down Il Nido is a must try - we will be back and cannot wait.

Truly a great restaurant. John our waiter was very responsive and helpful. We had tha Tagliatelle. So good. My wife had the Branzino, another really good dish. For dessert we each had an expresso martini as recommended by our waiter. While a little on the expensive side, it was well worth it.

One of my favorites places in area! Always fresh organic delicious ingredients! Their staff members are amazing! Thank you to Adonnay and El ! They always making our evening even more enjoyable! Can’t even choose what to recommend from the menu! Their menu changes pretty often! So every time you will have a new food experience !

I’ve dinned here several times prepandemic and it wasn’t much different this time around. The dishes were complex and delicious. I had the short rib and took a bite of my wife’s halibut both were more then up-to-par with most high end restaurants. This place is definitely worth trying.

Food was great. Had the Short Ribs meal love it. Loved the crispy potatoes Wish the service would pass by more, had to raise my hand to get the waiter.

I was recommended this place. I enjoyed the music, the food was good but pricey in my opinion. A concern is that the service was a bit slow and no one really came by to see if we needed anything else.

The atmosphere is really beautiful and peaceful and nice separation between tables. The decor suits the theme perfectly. Food was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. Pork chop was outstanding. Pasta was clearly unique and delicious. Service was outstanding. David was our server he did a great job. Constantly checking on us but not interrupting. The music was light and classic. You can see inside the kitchen which was very clean and roomy. It was a great experience. Chairs are very comfy. Water was always topped off. The olive oil and bread was delicious also on the table. If any critique at all it would be that the papardelle with oxtail was slightly too salty. Other than that everything was perfect. We will certainly go back.

Everything was excellent. Food very fresh. Love the bread! Octopus exceptional. The meat and cheese board is as delicious as the picture I posted. Enjoy!

One of the best meals we have had since being in Italy. My husband and I are originally from manhattan and have traveled to many countries. We feel we have tried some of the worlds best food and this absolutely ranks up there. The services was incredible and the food was all impeccable. Highly recommended 10/10.

First Italian meal since returning from Italy and totally wowed us. The service was very professional yet warm. Food was exceptional and obviously made with great care. Everything from the bread to dessert was delicious. Il Nido is in a strip mall on Rt 9 and way too easy to miss but I’m telling you, you are doing yourself a disservice by not going. Excellent, enthusiastically recommend.

Decided to check this place out base down the positive reviews. Overall it was okay, apart from a few things that a restaurant in this price range did wrong. My wife and I ordered the daily special appetizer for $26, which including pasta with pork and clams. The pork was definitely present but the clams were no where to be found until my wife bit into a piece of clam shell in front of our waitress as she was asking of we wanted a refill on drinks. We didn't send the meal back as it seemed to be an isolated incident. However, I would expect this kind of thing to occur at a friend's dinner party where amateur cooks had prepared the meal but not at this kind of establishment. Overall, apart from the incident the food was good. Second, we ordered the scallops entree and the king salmon entree. The king salmon was a very small piece of salmon with no special seasoning or sauce with the vegetables included in the dish being the silver lining. My wife was unlucky enough (again) to find a piece of hair in her entree. We didn't mention the hair to our server as we were embarrassed to be such pains for the night with everyone else seemingly having a good time. Overall the decor is very modern/rustic and takes away from the fact that you're in a strip mall setting. There was one server for multiple tables in a single room, which caused a decline in service as the evening dragged on. Food is delicious but the prices do not justify a return trip.

Il Nido was the perfect place for dinner. We were greeted by our waiter, James. He was exceptional. Very attentive from the beginning. Recommended great drinks, appetizers, & the main course! The dishes were so colorful and tasty! James plated our food for us! I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant! Definitely will be back!!

The food was beautiful, but unfortunately basic taste and so so seasoning made it underwhelming. The service could have used a smile, at least once, at least. The best part was the coziness of the place. It sets the right mood the moment one walks in, but it slides down from that point forward.

The wait staff is always patience and extremely polite. They take their time to make sure you’re properly taken care of. When choosing a high end restaurant, Il Nido is ALWAYS my first choice. Can’t wait to go back!!

Wanted to try this place for a while but never managed to fit my schedule. Finally tried it and boy it was good. The experience from beginning to end was just perfect. Loved all the paintings in the restaurant, and the decorations felt like you were in a restaurant in Italy. Great service, great food and nice background on everything from ingredients to food. Everything was organic, fresh and delivered very quickly. The pasta was perfectly cooked al dente with flour imported from Sicily and made fresh in the restaurant. The ricotta was also made at the restaurant and it was perfectly fresh. The gnocchi was great just perfect and the dessert was next level good. Even the cocktails felt fresh and unique. Will definitely come back!

Excellent service, delicious menu, and a wonderful local spot tucked away along Rt 9. We have driven by here for years now and had several people recommend Il Nido. The pastas with mushrooms was so good that we wanted to soak up the broth with bread. A cozy and romantic dining room. Will definitely return.

Another incredible experience tonight at our favorite restaurant. Our server El once again gave us the best service. His recommendations are amazing, and he truly makes you feel like you’re dining with a friend. Food and drink quality was top notch as always, can’t wait to be back in a couple weeks. This is my no.1 place to eat. I have eaten here several times. It never disappoints, Every time we eat here I find a new favorite entree. This time it was the black spaghetti with lobster. Anything you eat at this restaurant is prepared with the best ingredients and expertise. This is where you take people that you really love and want to impress. ♡

Best food I had in a while. Very expensive though so be prepared to pay up. Crab Squid ink pasta was phenomenal. Their aged rib eye was perfectly cooked. Also had the beef tartar for an app m.

Great Italian food with fine cocktail options. The ambience needs special mention along with staff. Appetizers, main course and dessert were excellent. I celebrated my birthday dinner with my family. It was worth it.
