While visiting a Friend in New Jersey, we went to the flea market. I've been to flea markets and also sold items at flea markets. I wasn't sure what I would find and it was also still chilly when we went. I would probably give 5 stars if it was peak season. I was told there weren't as many vendors since it was still late March. There is something there for everyone. My friend had never been to a flea market so she was a bit overwhelmed. There was fresh fruit, nuts, food, all types of electronics, clothing, shoes, luggage, natural oils, jewelry, you name it. There were name brand items and items that didn't have brand names. I bought some natural oils and the vendor gave me a free sample of shea butter from Ghana. I also bought some sunglasses, with one pair being Gucci knockoffs for $5. I am not sure if you can haggle (ask for a lower price) on items, because the prices seemed fair to me. Many of the rows have street names, ,so it's easy to remember where a booth if you need to come back. There is also an inside area for vendors. I was told during the winter months most vendors are inside and when it gets warm they come outside. I hope to go back the next time I visit Jersey. Don't forget to stop by Patosa Ravioli on Union Hill Road in Manalapan Township ( I wrote a review) on your way to the flea market or on your way back home. Review provided by Jennifer V-E Johnson

This was the first time I visited this flea market. Someone recommended I visit it. Honestly, it wasn’t the best flea market but not the worse also. Carry an umbrella or wear a cap when you go there. The stalls were so random but there are some hidden steal of deals! Try to get there early, around 10am to get a good parking spot. I wish the stalls were organized as per categories making it easier to explore. You definitely can’t go through the whole market, it’s huge. If you enjoy shopping and have an eye for good things, this place is your heaven.

Great place to buy some old stuff from someone's basements and sheds. Flea market is a little bit smaller than forty years ago but is still huge.

Been coming here since I was a kid. Love this place. whether you're looking for a specific item or just want to get out of the house and get some fresh air, there is always something enjoyable to see and do at the englishtown flea market. among the great vendors are also tons of delicious food trucks and restaurants located indoors

Loved this place it was far but worth it if you love cute stuff. Took some looking around but I found the girl with the lisenced sanrio from Japan she was so nice and didn’t jack up prices compared to what I’ve seen. I got the most adorable my melody.

The flea market at Englishtown is just awful!!!! The customers NEVER want to pay a fair price for what you are asking for your merchandise. They haggle you down to practically nothing and, as a vendor there, you won’t make any money. The clientele is just COMPLETELY HORRIBLE!!! They offer you practically NOTHING for your merchandise but they will pay 8 dollars for a bag of kettle corn that’s sold at the flea market yet offer you nothing for your merchandise. As far as renting a table, it’s a complete ripoff. If you want to sell for a Saturday or Sunday or both the auction charges 40 dollars per table per day. The monthly rate depends upon how many weeks are in the month you are renting. 4 weeks in a month is 56 dollars and 5 weeks in a month is approximately 70 dollars for the month. If it rains or there is bad weather on the day/month you paid for Englishtown does not refund your money so you lose!!!! Don’t waste your time going to Englishtown to sell or buy. It’s just not worth it. The customers are VERY CHEAP and nickel and dime you on everything. The customers want everything for a dollar and it’s so pathetic!!! Very low class clientele.

Being able to walk outside enjoying the sun and the bustling sounds of people haggling the vendors. Smelling fried food and kettle popcorn in the air always brings a sense of tranquility to me. The moment I know I've arrived, I know I will find some great things and even better deals. This is a great place to stop by with friends and family for a fun morning or relaxing afternoon. This location is huge with atleast a hundred tables to shop from and look at. There are buildings that also have vendors housed in them, alongside a building, I think it's the blue one that offers all kinds of food. From lemonades for $4.50 to fries for $5.00, you can find all kinds of goodies to eat while shopping and bargaining.

Great for place to spend the day outdoors and walking. Bring comfortable footwear and note that there's dirt roads, like cars driving by stirring dust up in the air and at points tasting dust. There are a lot of people selling all kinds of things. I found the prices more expensive than other flea markets. I was surprised that there weren't many varieties of food vendors, very limited. There were areas with black top on the road, it was more comfortable to walk. If you are looking for bikes, there was a good variety. Lots of kids clothes and toys.

The market was great except for 1 vendor right in front who sells crystals. This rude man stood behind my daughter and her friends so close that he was almost touching them watching them as if they were going to steal from him. I was looking with them and my husband watched this creepy man in shock. I almost went back to get a business card so I could leave a very accurate review but it was too cold and windy. But his stand is in the front row and he is very close to the man who sells all the drinks. Avoid that small booth with overpriced crystals.

It was SUCH a disappointment going here a few weeks ago after not having been there for YEARS. Nothing but a giant junk sale. I say all the time. The only thing you come here for are the French fries in the brown paper bag and the nuts made in Trenton. Expensive now but absolutely delicious!! Do not recommend for the tables unless it's food.

Was hoping for more antiques. This flea is large but I found that over half of the indoor shops were closed. Still found lots of useful things like readers, sunnies and nitrile gloves. The produce section was great. Super low prices.

I 100% recommend this place!!!! If you looking to just see what they have, don't forget your wallet because I don't think it's anything that they doesn't have!!! And for a decent price

I only give 3 stars because the entire flea market is an unorganized mess, a more strategic layout would make it 1,000× better. It's a nice way to kill a few hrs out browsing with the family, left with some cool finds, got to haggle a few bucks off some stuff i purchased so that was pretty cool, I'd definitely go again.

Nice food, good prices Lots of people, very crowded. Has lots of semi-decently priced Pokemon cards, and good Garfield merch when you dig around. 😊

Always a good deal lurking around the corner. You have to have a sharp eye and be a good negotiator in order to get that good deal on that used piece that you're looking for. You also have some small retailers here that will give you some reasonable discounts. The fruit and vegetable stands here are wonderful.

If you're a seller, it's a good place to go. The prices for tables are 40 for the pair. The downside to this place is that the tables are small, the floor is all dirt so things get dirty fast, and thr owners double dip on their pricing. For example: if the tables are rented out already to season holders but they don't show up, the owners charge full price for other sellers to take those.empty tables. Would be fine except you can't set up until the place opens which leads you to miss a lot of opportunitie

My family has been going there for generations. Still love to go and look for old and new items to purchase. Always have to stop at Dave's fries in the blue building and get fries and orangeade and get nuts from the nut guy. Both are an absolute must each time we go.

Buildings, outside table's, There's bathrooms, there's a bar, there food places Sunday is best day to go but there open on Saturday too. You need a whole to be there and explore. Definitely worth it.

Very dusty on hot, sunny days. On rainy days the parking gets muddy with tons of puddles.

Several stores and some farm fresh fruits and vegetables. Mostly affordable little stores. They only accept cash, no cards or why other form of electronic payment
