Dr. Matt is a wonderful, kind, caring, and knowledgeable Physical Therapy Doctor. From the first time I met him, he was welcoming and focused on my entire well-being, and not just on my one specific issue. With his incredible knowledge and experience, he goes above and beyond to consult, diagnose, and set up an effective treatment plan. I started seeing him to strengthen my muscles after having multiple surgeries. He pushes me but never too much, and always listens to my daily pain levels, taking them into consideration for each treatment session. Every time I see him, he spends a lot of one-on-one time doing manual massages, muscle treatments (including cupping and stim), and exercises/stretches to help improve my issues. You get personalized care with Dr. Matt. Even on his busy days, he always makes time if you need him. Dr. Matt is incredibly personable, a great doctor, and has helped me tremendously.

I can’t say enough good things about Holmdel Physical Therapy. From the first time I called to see if they specialized with runners, I felt at ease talking to Bridget on the phone. When I went for my first session Dr. Matt made me feel calm after telling me that we would get my shin splints under control in no time. Prior to Holmdel Physical Therapy, I was seeing another physical therapist for months who told me to take some time off which didn’t help. She could not figure out the problem and told me to get a second opinion. After going and being treated by Dr. Matt for a couple of weeks, my shins felt ten times better. Since I was marathon training and upping my mileage I continued to go to physical therapy where Jessie, their amazing student, helped to treat me. I was sad Jessie left but was happy I got to work with Dr. Lindsay who has been an absolute joy to work with. She is supportive, kind and caring, as well as a runner herself. Dr. Lindsay knows exactly how to treat me, and pushes me to be my best by giving me different exercises to make me a stronger runner. She also LISTENS which is so hard to find nowadays. She knows exactly how to help me recover and because of her and the other individuals at Holmdel Physical Therapy, not only did she get me to that NYC marathon start line without any injuries but I crossed that finish line as a stronger individual. This office is one of the most professional offices I been apart of in a long time. I have been going to Dr. Matt for yrs visiting at his New Jersey office and everyone from the beginning has been so kind and accommodating. Dr Matt has hands of gold! He spends all the time he needs too in order to make his patients to feel better. He is full of knowledge and so personable. I’m an avid runner so recovery is vital to me. Dr. Matt’s treatment and stretching has helped me prepare for some of my longest runs.
