Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place. The office staff were okay and the x-ray tech was very patient and kind. My primary concern is the interaction the MD had with my son during all of our appointments. Our first visit, post his ER visit for a broken humerous, the MD basically assessed my son from the doorway. I realize we are currently facing a pandemic, but as a mom and a frontline nurse, I would have appreciated more of an assessment. My 11 year old son's elbow was swollen to the size of a grown man's elbow. He was reporting severe pain. The only contact he had was when the MD wrapped the cast in sling. By evening I had to reinforce it again and realized there was Velcro in the wrapping that had cause his inner arm to bleed. The following appointments were the same. The final appointment took the cake when the cast was removed. The MD told my son to straighten his arm all the way down. My son kept reporting it hurt too much (keep in mind his arm was casted for almost 3 weeks in a bent position). The MD proceeded to walk over and pull away my son's supporting arm. I was livid and my son who generally loves chatting and talking to people shut down and didn't talk the rest of the time. An x-ray was done shortly after only to find out that his bone was not fully healed. Why would you force an arm that's not fully healed to straighten out? Not to mention, we find out the brace they put on him was placed backward. Fast forward and my son's bone did not heal in line and you can feel it protruding in his upper arm. We never had a follow up appointment and I have no interest in returning.

They are very rude and unprofessional, they don't know how to deal with. patients I called their number to take an appointment for my 7 year old son, the lady picked the phone was talking like she is doing a big favor to me, I think they need to know that patients call because they need help in the period of need and distress, it is important to give them the confidence and some good hope rather than being rude. I refuse to go to such Hospitals who are justing running it as a business to earn money.

really unprofessional. i made an appointment for my son who is 4 years old and need to see specialist for his mobility issues. i called on 05/18/21 and was given an appointment on 07/27- now they call me to tell me the doctor will not be available to see my son, and offered me a September appointment. are you serious? this is how important patient care is? I've been waiting for my son to be treated since may 2021 and all they say is that they just have to follow the doctor's instructions.

I have never, ever, EVER heard of any doctor or specialist that needs a ton of paperwork FAXED (they don't even have email!!) sent to them before they will even make you an appointment for a CONSULTATION! The front desk lady (I won't even give her the courtesy of calling her a receptionist) is EXTREMELY RUDE. How do these doctors stay in business when patients can't even get appointments unless the princess deems you worthy? Who are these doctors actually seeing, because all the reviews on here say that patients either can't get appointments or they cancelled because of the RUDE front office staff. Guys, you need to fire her and start over. There's a ton of people looking for jobs out there; surely you can find better.

I attempted to make an appointment this morning. I was on hold for over one hour before automatically being transferred to a voicemail. Voicemail was full and my call was terminated. I tried to call back but the automated response said there was now an 80 minute wait. I hung up and called St Peter's pediatric orthopedic office- a very nice human answered after 1 ring and gave me an appointment within 48 hours. Pediatric Orthopedist- you really need to hire additional staff or you will continue to lose business.

I hate to give this place a one star. The doctor was very polite and kind. The M.A. very nice. They even gave me an appointment same day because of a cancellation. BUT unfortunately the person who scheduled my appointment was disgustingly rude. On the 3 occassions I spoke to her on the phone. She really left a bad impression and if it wasn't for my daughter I would've went elsewhere. Being that there are other comments similar to mine she should be let go. That type of attitude is uncalled for and very unprofessional.

My 3 year old son saw Dr. Weisman who was fantastic with him. Very kind, very thorough, explained everything about the injury and took the time to answer all my questions. My experience with the staff was fine, we needed an urgent follow up appointment and since Dr Weisman was not in the East Brunswick office that day where we initially met, they fit us in at the Neptune office where he was with no problem.

I am not recommending this place. Dr was nice and X-ray tec is nice but the front stuff is horrible, very rude called twice but never call back to me. Not even giving me appointment. By chance if u missed the appointment they don’t want to give u another appointment. Very mean and nasty. Very hard to get appointment. Without notice they just change ur appointment location, they don’t even want to call u that location is changed.

I would not give even one star. I was in the office only once and I had a horrible experience with the staff, I had to schedule another appointment today and it was horrendous. The person who answered the phone was beyond rude and disrespectful. Don't dare to ask any questions. She was not helpful, mean and nasty. The doctors are nice, that's the only reason I go there, but I don't understand why this practice doesn't invest in new staff.

I took my son for a small fracture in his right hand to Dr.Thomas McPartland The Doctor's visit went well and the doctor was very nice. Affter the examination doctor gave a splint (from BREG they are inhouse provider at the orthopedic office) and asked him to wear it for 4 weeks and asked him to see him back.  And when we received the medical bills after a few days  we got a separate bill for the splint. They charged us $150 for the splint in actuality which (really good ones) can be bought on Amazon or CVS Pharmacy  for 20 to 30 dollars.  It was really heartbreaking to see the charge.  I felt like the doctor should have mentioned  or informed  us  about the charges before making the patient wear it.I called them to inquire and the customer service person just said sorry for the inconvenience. Why should anybody pay five times more for something which could be bought easily online?

I say dr David Weisman at this practice for two times, and because he isn't helping me with my daughter's diagnosis, so I spoke to the staff to give me to another doctor in the practice, they said sorry we can't because you started with this doctored. I told them as a patient who getting billed by you guys through my insurance i have the right to change doctor if i don't feel comfortable with, but they said no and after i keep asking how come they told me we can recommend another doctor who is 1 hour far.. Very bad service.

I have seen the doctors before, which are great, however when my son needed an appointment, the receptionist was not helpful and would not even let me ask a question. My son had hurt his elbow and the first available appointment was out of network, on Wednesday. I took the appointment to check if it was something serious and made an appointment with this practice for an appointment for Friday. On Wednesday it was determined that my son's injury was a fracture with a recommendation to cast. I could brace his elbow to the appointment with a doctor in network, which would have been Friday. Pediatric Orthopedics called me Thursday to tell me the doctor was sick and they had to cancel my appointment. They could not give me another appointment and could put me on a waiting list. I know they have other offices, so I mentioned that my son had a fracture and the receptionist stopped me from asking my question if they had an availability at another office. She then tried to tell me that this appointment would be considered a second opinion and would need the records, which in todays day and age, sharing records is an easy request, I advised the who the doctor was and again tried to ask when or if I could be seen in another office, which she never let me ask. She did not like my tone, and even though I told her my son had a fracture, she hung up on me. A thing to note, is when I first tried making an appointment, the phone was set to off hours, even though it was Monday mid day. So, If you can happen to get someone to pickup the phone and is concerned about your issue, the doctors are great.

Front off scheduling staff is HORRIBLE. Day 2 and I’m on hold for over 15 minutes just to schedule an appointment. Calls anywhere near 4pm they leave you on hold until they close for the day. If it weren’t for my daughter actually liking Dr. Mcpartland I would go else were.

Unprofessional. I would give zero stars if possible. We made an appointment here months in advance and had physical proof that we confirmed the appointment via text message. We arrived and were told that our appointment was canceled… mind you we just drove 45 minutes. The woman at the desk was apologetic and said the doctor canceled it because he doesn’t treat the condition we were there for. Why wouldn’t they tell me that in advance, like when I made the appointment months ago.

I am a physician assistant, and my daughter sustained a right wrist fracture. I knew I needed pediatric orthopedic care, and they were fabulous with my daughter and her care. The staff were kind and the xray techs were amazing! I highly recommend this practice!!

I am shocked to see the low reviews Google has for this place. I usually don’t leave reviews but I just had to. My daughter was 1 month old (currently 4 months) when we came to treat bilateral club feet. Dr. McPartland was the doctor who saw her for 3 months and let me say he love what he does. He treated my little girl as if it was his daughter. He was so gentle when putting the casts on. He explained everything he was doing to her. He told me to do a little research to have a deep understanding of what was going on. In summation, he has changed my daughter’s life and mine. I’m forever grateful for him and the lovely attentive staff there. Today is my daughter’s first day with braces.

Not sure what all these bad reviews are for but I was absolutely impressed. The service was quick, and the entire staff was so kind. The doctor took his time and explained everything and in terms my husband and I could understand. Would definitely recommend!

We have had very good experience at this practice. Dr. Wiseman was great with my son. Scheduling and front staff experience was good.

Not sure if another bad review would mean anything to this place. We’re currently in the waiting room and we have been waiting over an hour for our appointment with our 2 year old daughter. And we’re still waiting……if the doctor can’t make the 7:45 am appointment…maybe don’t schedule a 7:45 appointment.

No one picks up the phone for 10-15 minutes only to tell you that you cant even get an appointment for weeks out. Meanwhile kids are in pain
