The entire staff is experienced helpful and caring. They also have expert knowledge when it comes to Greyhounds which are a VERY different breed. I highly recommend them.

My elderly pups get the best treatment, diagnosis and attention from CMAH staff and Dr. Bloom. Dr. Bloom is skillfully able to pinpoint Sunshine + Peanut's needs to carefully choose which tests and procedures will lead to the information required to diagnose (unlike other places that load you up on expensive tests) ....which has made me a very loyal customer! With generous hours and a central location in Freehold, CMAH is my #1 spot for my family.

Dr. Bloom and his staff were amazing. After Dr. Bloom saw me make a post on social media regarding my puppy needing dental work, he reached out to me. The kindness of this doctor is unmatched. He took the time out from over his weekend to calm a dog mom and dad after hearing some outrageous prices for the removal of baby teeth. His bedside manner and knowledge truly is unmatched. He made me feel comfortable that he wasn't pushing us to get our dog neutered either, which we were hit with numerous times. He asked us to come for a consult and I immediately felt at ease. Even at the consult they offered to clip my dog's nails complimentary. Our dog is less than 5 pounds and his knowledge of all the animals was seen in the array of them that were there. From speaking with other parents, they loved him and were going for years. On the day of the surgery he made sure to come and see me as we dropped off our puppy, Teddy, to calm a worried mama. He was even the one who called me personally to let me know how the procedure went. He offered a complimentary recheck following as well. There are not enough great things to say. Although a 30 minute ride from where we are, we have decided to continue using his practice in the future. Our animals are a member of our family and Dr. Bloom truly understands that.

Not the easiest staff to get along with. Unfortunately if you need something done you need to nag and pest them. I have been trying to get a Rx from chewy approved by them for the last 6 days and Chewy claims its usually easy with most Vets, but of course not with this staff. Dr. Bloom and the Drs have been nothing but good to us. The staff however has made comments about my pets behavior, I have had to address the Dr about it. They have told me to calm down when I was nervous about his well being and have less then cooperative with my requests. They are rude and impatient. It is in his best interest to revamp his front office staff in order to keep his reputation upstanding.

We have taken our cats here for spays and their yearly care. The staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They take a personal approach and truly care for each animal that comes through their door. We have had nothing but great experiences in our 3 years of bringing our animals here!

I have been bringing my puppy here since I got him and am so happy with how he has been taken care of by Dr. Cavalieri and his staff. I am happy with their pricing for exams and vaccines. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

If you love your pets then you need to send them to Dr. Bloom! After several disappointing vet visits in the Middlesex county area, we were recommended Dr. Bloom by a dear friend. I am the epitome of a helicopter dog-mom, so I was grateful to have Dr. Bloom take the time to answer all of my questions and concerns. I have 3 large breed dogs including a sick puppy so I needed a vet who cared as much as I do about these dogs.

Highly highly recommend central Monmouth animal hospital for all your pet needs! They are SO friendly, and professional. Dr. Bloom listens, cares and is understanding. We have a very anxious and fearful dog and Dr.Bloom is so patient with him that after a few months our dog is now taking treats from him!! CMAH always goes above and beyond to meet the needs of your pets. Couldn’t recommend Dr.Bloom and his entire staff more!!

There isn’t enough positive words and praise I could give Dr. Bloom and his staff, especially Skyler(sorry for any incorrect spelling!). They always go above and beyond for me and my family and they truly care for my pups as much as I do. I will always and forever be grateful and super thankful for Dr. Bloom and his amazing staff. Thank you everyone for everything that you all do! 🙏🏼🐾🐶💙

Dr.Bloom and his office is the best! We’ve brought our puppy in for multiple visits, as well as to get her spayed and each time has been a great experience. If you ever have questions or need help they are there to provide support. Very grateful to have such a good vet office for our fur baby!

I have SIX rescue dogs and Dr. Bloom and his staff are second to none! They provide outstanding veterinary services but even more important is their loving and caring environment. Literally I could not provide a stronger recommendation.

I did not visit the facility. This review is only for informational purposes. I called for neutering pricing and was told that could not be provided unless I bring my dog in for evaluation, which I can understand. However, the cost for the visit is $69. Most companies I called were able to provide an estimate without an appointment. I'm sure the services offered are great, but I think it's important to offer some information without a $69 appointment.

Have been taking my dog to Central Monmouth Animal Hospital for a few years now. They took my dog in as a new 'patient' without hesitation. The entire staff is not only accommodating but extremely caring. I have not only seen Dr. Bloom but now also see Dr. Cavalieri (who is fairly new there)..and I'm very impressed with their expertise. They are both true animal lovers. Dr. Cavalieri has recently treated my dog with very bad allergy issues (with a positive outcome). He has been available, no matter the question or issue. I highly recommend Dr. Bloom and/or Dr. Cavalieri. They are wonderful vets!

Central Monmouth Animal Hospital This past week has been a roller coaster of emotions. We almost lost our loyal companion and family member Rex. Thanks to Dr Bloom he was saved. We have no words to express how thankful we are. You are a wonder veterinarian and a exceptional human bean. Dr Bloom went above and beyond to help us saved Rex. He never gave up and guided us through it all. He spend time explaining everything to me and to my kids. His wonderful staff took care of our dog like if it was their own. If you need a veterinarian I highly recommend Dr Bloom at Central Monmouth Animal Hospital. Thank you for saving my life Dr Bloom… xoxo Rex

Very nice staff. Easy to get appointment. That being said...the vet misdiagnosed my cat and he died 6 weeks later after multiple visits and hundreds of dollars. He should have been taken for surgery immediately but the doctor didn't even do xrays until 2 weeks later, 1 week after that his toe bone was completely out of the skin and touching the ground with every step. The vet just kept giving antibiotics and steroids. At this point my cat had stopped normal functions for too long and lost too much weight for surgery and had to be put down. I understand that doctors can make mistakes and as sad as I am I do not think he is a bad doctor but after he also failed to inspect my dogs ears, mouth and other parts during a well visit, I do not feel confident that my pets will be throughly cared for in the future (2 weeks after the well visit I discovered a rotten tooth in my dogs mouth, that should have been seen by the vet). Bottom line is the prices are good and everyone is very nice there but if you have a sick animal or want a thorough examination, pay the extra money and go somewhere else. My cat didn't have to die because of a broken toe nail. He should have had surgery immediately and he would still be here with me

Best veterinarian hands down with a very caring and dedicated staff. We travel over an hour to Dr Bloom for our 6 pack. Highly recommend you won’t go wrong.

If you are reading this review it most likely means you are looking for a vet. I have been going to Central Monmouth Animal Hospital for over 20 years. Both Dr.Bloom and Dr. Marcus are amazing. Not only are they excellent vets but they are caring people. My dog was very sick after a stay at a local pet boarding place. My dog was taken care of by both doctors- twice in one week. I can’t describe how much better I felt knowing that they were doing everything for my dog. My dog is much better now but it would have been quite a different outcome without them. I cannot recommend them more highly. The staff is also very caring and efficient.

This is a caring vet. The staff is kind and they take great care with your pets. I have a dog that requires a monthly visit. She loves the staff and so do I.

Needed to use their services to put my dog down (emergency). Sadly, it seemed they would see me... Until I told them I was not a prior client. Thankfully, a nearby hospital took us and made our experience comfortable. You were called on December 13, 2022, @ 4:49 pm. The call lasted 2 min., 40 seconds. I will not remove my comment, as your staff seemed to violate your policy. Review updated. Dr. Bloom and I spoke for several minutes after I contacted him directly. He was empathetic and apologetic. When my family does get another pup, we'll give his practice another shot.

I want to say Thank You so much for taking care of Rusty. A Special thank you to Skyler, Chris and Dr. Moore. We are new patients of Central Monmouth. Rusty had a Sinus, Cold and dribble nose and the girls were able to squeeze us into their already hectic, and crammed schedule. Super Fantastic Facility, Clean Friendly, and Affordable. Very Professional and Caring Staff. Dealing with the Public is not easy, I give you all Credit for doing a Great Job taking Care of People's Pets. We will come and see you folks again, we have 3 more Kittys who need A Wonderful Vet to take good care of them. Happy Early Easter to you all. Thank You!!!!! Have a Wonderful Day

I recently moved to Freehold, and I chose to get my dogs’ care established at Central Monmouth Animal Hospital because of all the glowing reviews. They definitely did not disappoint! Our first visit was nothing short of amazing, and I’m so happy to have found them! Due to last minute childcare issues, I had to bring my baby with me to the appointment for my two large breed dogs. Though it was pouring on our arrival, the staff were so accommodating in helping me get my two dogs into the office while I carried my baby. We saw Dr. Cavlieri and Skylar who were both wonderful. They took their time going over the history and care needed for each of my dogs. All of my questions were answered beyond satisfaction. They were personable, kind, caring, and made everything very easy. One of my dogs has a history of being particularly anxious, but I noticed that she did remarkably well compared to previous vet visits elsewhere — she was very comfortable there! When we left, they again helped me out to the car. I truly feel that they went above and beyond — they were fast, efficient, and created a personalized experience. Thank you again for all of your help! We will certainly be sticking with CMAH!

It was Dr Bloom, I do not have the wrong doctor. And the fact that you don't recall this unique situation is a little upsetting. I wasn't trying to leave a bad review because I don't blame you 100% I know you are a human who can make a bad judgment call but acting as if It was some other hospital or doctor is crazy, honestly how many cats do you see that has a toe bone sticking out the bottom of his foot? My cats name was Trouble. If that still doesn't ring a bell than maybe that's a bigger issue here

Dr. Bloom and the entire staff are very good. They treat my dogs (Alex and Dexter) with utmost care and they are very professional and supportive and accommodating too. I highly recommend them if you are able to.

Doctor Bloom and the staff truly go above and beyond for your fur babies. I was in a horrible situation with one of my fur babies, unfortunately I had to put my baby to sleep. Even though Doc Bloom was not in his office and I was in a er Hospital, he was on the phone with me every step of the way. He called the hospital where I was and ask for updates. Not only was his there for our baby chewey but also for us as well. I have never experienced this type of compassion and dedication from vet. He didn't have to call or even check up on us. But he did and continues to provide an excellent service with our other fur baby Max. If you are looking for someone who truly cares Doc. Bloom is the guy to go to.
