Nice YMCA.. Locker room & bathrooms are clean but it would be nice to get an air freshener in there so it smells better. Gym equipment is also clean. Plenty of treadmills and bikes to use. They just upgraded a bunch of equipment in September 2023. Nice staff. They also finally refinished the basketball court. Best all around gym in the area in my opinion!

I am awed by their support of the community and grateful for all of the positive repercussions that leads to in so many other aspects of life. They're super tuned into the needs of their members and accommodative when things need to be adjusted or attended to. I feel very very lucky. Thanks again and have a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful day of life.

Love this ymca great pool but reservations required because of covid. Can't wait until pandemic is over because then can use hot tub,steam room,and sauna! Very nice and friendly staff.

Currently my kids are taking swim classes. Love the swim teacher she is a little older with white hair but she is strict and seems to know what she’s doing. But they ask you to sit behind the white gate which is hard when there are no lifeguards watching while they are just swimming on their own not during classes.. Edit. So I might have spoken too quick. Love Mindy and the staff. It’s clean, friendly and I love the staff. Keep it up oldbridge swim ymca!

The director Chris Nasta seems like a really nice guy. I am only giving 3 stars because the front desk guy Hugh is one of the most surly people I have EVER come across. Always impatient, never a smile on his face and just overall miserable! He seems to hate people so why he's upfront I don't know 😕.

It was fun to swim there. They also have a nice gym. The pool was pretty clean and I had a good swimming experience.

Gym is very good for beginners and amateur but if you take weightlifting seriously it isn’t the best. only one bench press one squat rack and 3 adjustable benches so u spend a lot of time waiting for stuff. Other than that for people under 18 it is the cheapest gym in jersey. u get a pool sauna hot tub and basketball court for only 25. will say they get very annoying with the “slamming weights” and the “no wearing crocs” rules which make no sense it’s a gym your going to hear weights being put down. I’m not going to put down 400 pounds on a deadlift quietly. also the no crocs rule is stupid you’re supposed to take your shoes off anyway when u are deadlifting and squatting. the community is amazing and welcoming. It’s a no judge environment and people even help u improve your form. It’s like a small family. I would give 5 starts if they didn’t have those annoying rules and if they were open for longer on weekends. Other then that it’s the cheapest gym in oldbridge and amazing for beginners

Old Bridge YMCA is a wonderful facility. The staff is amazing and the fitness classes and instructors are awesome. Instructors and other members are welcoming into the fitness classes and you don't feel uneasy or uncomfortable. Instructors explain all moves and demonstrate and help. The gym equipment is well maintained and clean. The members are very good with wiping down equipment before and after use which you don't find at every gym. Great place for the entire family.

Great Place to workout with a working Steam, Sauna and Jacuzzi. Great way to end a workout!

We really liked the place. We came for a tour to possibly get a family membership. It was early in the day, so a much older crowd. Which I like much better. There weren't any kids in the kids' day cate area at the time. But they had 2 teachers in there. They also offer day and evening day care hours, and that is what I need. They seem to offer a lot of classes for free with membership, which is always a bonus. I am not sure if I am a class person, but knowing it's part of membership, I might consider it.

I like the place. I go there with my kids and they love the pool. Not great but affordable membership for a family.

Nice pool, basketball court, and gym. Very nice place to excercise.

A little bit of a rude swimmer. He keeps splashing other handicap visitors swimmers. Life guards didn't pay mind. They were conversing like nothing was happening.

I don't recommend going to the ymca because I bought myself a membership and changed then went straight to the pool I hopped in and I see poop on the floor.. I was disgusted!! Right after I saw that I left and canceled my membership the last time I ever put a foot in that place.. other then that the staff was very rude and unprofessional!!!!

This is a great gym for the family. The classes are reasonably priced and the instructors are dedicated. We used the swimming plans for our kids. All of the staff here are friendly and always ready to help. It's like your Public Library equivalent for a sports club.

Friendly staff, clean facilities, has a pool. Good luck scheduling pool time though.

I really love it here. It is so much better than other corporate owned gyms. The pool is very nice, and there are nice people all around who don't make you feel bad about working out when you're not in great shape. Also the equipment is nice and new, and it doesn't smell. It is a great family oriented place. It costs a little more, but I think it is worth it.

Excellent Covid protocols & social distancing during family swim. The appointment app is easy, too!
