Took photos and videos for Olaide's Kitchen on multiple occasions. Great people, an absolute pleasure to work with. Their service never disappoints and you always feel welcome walking into their establishment. Definitely order suya and fried plantains, they were delicious! Check them out ASAP!

My husband just brought home this Nigerian food and he was quite happy to know this place is not all that far from us. He was very happy with the taste of home, especially some of the delicacies. He did go out of the blue so didn't order in advance. They make the order fresh so he had to wait an hour (and the place was cold inside) but he said it was worth the wait. I think he got a little carried away on his first visit, considering the bounty he brought home!

Excellent food. Excellent service. They just need to open to a later time. 8 o’clock is not a great closing time, especially for African, especially on the weekends:

Excellent customer service! The food is delivered fast and tasty. The restaurant is beautiful for dining in especially for small to medium groups. The quality of food is top notch! The prices are also great especially for the small appetizers and main dishes.

I’ve been sitting here for 1 hour while they take online orders and ignored me after traveling 2 and half hours from NY. Will never do it again!!! There was literally no one there. Just lines and lines of online orders

First time! Ewa Aganyin and Efo Riro with sautéed fish and, of course, fufu...what a delight...what depths of flavor. My new comfort food. I am so absolutely satisfied. Thank you for such a wonderful experience! 💗 💗 💗

While waiting for our son’s tournament to end, we decided to get some Nigerian food and it was a great decision. So let’s start with the warm welcome from a server who was already waiting on another family……Thankfully, the same server (Buchi) ended up waiting our table. Buchi was pleasant, great to converse with and gave suggestions too. I settled on amala with gbegiri and ewedu with goat meat. My husband went for amala with efo riro and fresh fish. Our meals were delicious, not too spicy and best of all, the sodium levels were perfect. It’s hard eating out without the food being overly seasoned. It tasted just like home cooking and not mass production. The environment was neat and clean. We ordered jollof rice, fried plantain with chicken to go and our son thought it was tasty as well. I’ll definitely return whenever in the area.

Always have a great experience! POLITE and WARM serving. The owner sometimes comes out to greet customers, very personable!!!!! You can tell when the recipe changes slightly (well maybe just me cause im wired like that lol) but booyyyyyyyyy the food still tastes as great if not better each time I notice a change. My taste buds always leave ELATED!!!!!🤤

Magnificent Nigerian food. Peppered snails and hard chicken are legit. Sweet plantains were also delicious. Very friendly service.

This place is so cute! The atmosphere and decoration is very cohesive. The jollof rice (ghanian) stood out and also the asun was our favorite (goat with habanero) but be mindful thay the asun is 8/10 spicy! I had gotten the stew made with the african mango tree (ogbono?) and it had a goopy/viscous consistency that wasn't for me. (No stars deducted because it's my personal preference but felt like it may be something that is polarizing and may worth being aware) pounded yam had a nice consistency like a slightly sticky mashed potato.

The only reason I gave them a 3 star is because we waited 30 minutes at the restaurant for a to go vegetable soup and when we got home and opened it, the vegetable soup was frozen. As of it just came out of the freezer. We tried to call and complain but nobody answered the phone.

The food is great.. The service isn’t. The young guy working there was nice but not the girls. However, I enjoyed the food. The soup was flavorful and I would definitely recommend. But, the portion size for the soup was too small for the price.

I’d never had Nigerian food before coming here. It’s really good! I’ve eaten a lot of different cuisines and this was distinct, not sure what to compare it to other than to say it’s spicy (in a good way). We tried the jollof rice with goat, the meat and sauce it was paired with was very flavorful and the rice had a unique zingy flavor. The other dish we tried was made from yams and was a nice mix of sweet and spice. The pineapple ginger drink was also very good (bottle says from Jamaica). I’d like to go back and try some of the other dishes.

I see some ugly reviews about this restaurant on here. I’m so saddened, it’s your own people that would take their time, sit behind their computers and want to destroy you! Let’s support our kind and stop bad mouthing small businesses. No business establishment is perfect. If you feel you didn’t have a good experience with the service, kindly pick up a phone and let them know and give them a chance to get it right before coming here to rant! I tried Olaide’s Kitchen with my family this week, and I can categorically tell you that it’s one of the most tasteful African cuisine I’ve had since my 17 years living in NJ! The customer service is good too. They attended to us fast and the food came out at a reasonable time after we ordered. The place is very clean and cute. My 2 year old daughter enjoyed her Jollof rice, and while we were leaving, she became so fixated to and fascinated by one of the beautiful painting of an African woman hanging on the wall by the exit door. Enough🙏🏿

Had a horrible experience here. AVOID AT ALL COST - Ordered 2-go rice and stew and the stew portion was so tiny … like seriously, you guys are managing stew quantity? - ordered mild goat pepper soup and told the server to avoid it being spicy. The server still offered the damn spicy pepper soup rather than tell us the truth that they only have spicy pepper soup so we can avoid ordering it. After we got the damn soup, we ended up being told to add water to make it less spicy- wow ! Never heard of such thing … and still we paid for soup that we barely ate and returned. I wish I could give them zero star for a poor quality and quantity service. Please AVOID AT ALL COST …. I barely give reviews until the poor service I got here.

Food has a lot of flavor, and is definitely for those who appreciate spicy food. Nigerian Jollof rice without meat was delicious. The Efro Riro, was an interesting spicy spinach dish, and the pounded yam was good. Service was excellent. However, the Ila/plain okra was not what I thought it was I wanted a traditional Cameroon 🇨🇲 dish I have heard called Okra soup. The Chicken that came with my Jollof rice I didn't like it a lot. The restaurant is clean and the interior design is really nice so I wouldn't have any issue with eating inside.
