This is my second review about this store but after several visits, I realized I was wrong about the first review. The store is well organized and clean but the most associates are very rude to customers especially if you are a Black person. I usually go the to use the Banks ATM and so I would pick up a few things. I went in there with my 6 year old son on 1/7/2023 around 6pm to pick some items and my son picked a small race car and I usually like to pay with a cashier but, there was not one there so we used the self check out and I had scanned his toy but a female associate was just staring questionably at us and so I had to tell her to come check if she thinks am not paying for it. My son got very Sad and started tearing up saying but mom we didn't steal it so why was she staring at us in a funny way. It's sad that as young as he is, I have to explain things like race to him. So, after checking out, I went to customer service to complain to another person and showed her the receipt showing the toy on it. It's sad that in this Era, people still judge a book by the color!

I’m extremely disappointed by this place. I am a new mom and placed a very large delivery order to make my life a little easier. It was supposed to arrive between 6-8 PM. I kept checking the app and it said delayed, and then finally that a driver was going to pick up the order. Around 9:15 the order still never came so I called. They said they had no drivers but I can come pick up my order that has been sitting there all day. I pick up my order to realize there are so many missing items, incorrect items, and almost all my eggs were broken. The people were extremely rude and didn’t seem to care much. For such a big grocery store you’d think they would have it together but the complete opposite.

I was just at Acme about an hr. Ago. There was a problem with a card that my mom uses and is for senior citizens which is called an OTC card which has benefits on it for seniors to get groceries and medicine well the girl at customer service cursed and yelled at me at the top of her lungs and said she doesn't fuck8ng no anything about an OTC SENIORS CITIZENS CARD. MEANWHILE ANOTHER WORKER WALKED UP TO ME AND SAID SHE CURSES AT CUSTOMERS LIKE THAT ALL THE TIME. WHY IS SHE STILL WORKING THERE. ID LIKE CORPORATE TO PLEASE CONTACT ME. IM AM LITERALLY TRAUMATIZED.

This store is remarkably clean and well organized. I found the products I bought were top quality and reasonably priced. The check out person was great and so helpful and I went to self checkout for shorter line. I can't say enough about the store. Super impressed and a new steady customer.

Nice local supermarket. Large selection of everything. I usually purchase roses for my wife and family at this location, which are high quality and very reasonably priced.

Clean store easy to find stuff weird how they stare at you at self check out might as well ring you up if there just going to stand the watching why am I working and not them lol

This store is the biggest rip off. Went in for a quick shopping of sales and digital sales. Nothing came off at the register. I caught one thing and asked to be refunded. Then noticed not one sale item came off. Not even the customer service person could do it. I ended up leaving my whole cart there to be refunded. They didn’t want to honor the prices they display. Beware and check your receipts. Will never shop here again.

This is a really nice grocery store with a decent selection and there's also a nice Starbucks inside.

Seems like a good store, but the prices are easily 25-40% more compared to ShopRite.

Overpriced on most all items. Went in for something on sale.

Do not go see Madeline at customer service for FEDEX. She would not put tape to seal my box. Claimed she could not provide it. FedEx is losing money at this location, she did not want to supply simple tape. Horrible additive and customer service. Looks like she doesn't like her job. Not a good look for ACME. I will never go there. I recommend going to an actual FEDEX location.

Not very crowded, I love it. Makes grocery shopping enjoyable

Visited this trip for snow crabs. Seafood section well stocked. Employee there always extremely helpful

Just wanted to tell you all about my experience here at ACME, got everything that I needed, but when I went to a particular older cashier , she instructed my mom to tell people that the line is now closed, .that is not my moms responsibility, she does not work at ACME, and when I was bagging my groceries a man came up behind us, and the cashier yelled at my mother saying “you did not listen to me tell him that the line is closed” talk about rude and unprofessional, I proceeded to give her the money for my groceries and she did not give me my change back, I have told her that I need my remaining change back, very shady of her knowing that she didn’t give me back my change and her possibly thinking that I would forget and not get back my change, I do not recommend coming here only if you need something quick like getting eggs or milk

Hairy food! I watched a women carry a 45 pound dog around one handed while petting it. The women and a man walked up and down islestalking to people. I dont mind topless or barefoot people, doe this store have any standards. P.s. there are only 500k service dogs in the entire us making them very rare.

It's a good local supermarket that pretty much has everything you'll need. Easy access from route 9 and Ferry road is helpful too. Prices are reasonable and the selection is wide and varied. There is plenty of parking. The supermarket is clean and is the preferred choice in this area.

My shopping experience was so cool, wish I had enough time to spend it at ACMEs

Great place for food shopping. They always have such a selection of meats, poultry,salads,etc. Always fresh produce. Very clean store

Love Acme on Rte. #9, I usually go at least once a week. Great store, great employees.

I find the place went downhill within the past couple years no other produce scales work they only have one it's more on the dirty side and I was quite disappointed it used to be A&P and I wish it would go back the workers there seem to be more interested in what's on their cell phones then helping paying customers very disappointed

First time and was impressed with the store. Was short on time but will visit soon. Store was nice and friendly.

I had purchased pork chops from the store. When we went to open them the bottom of the meat was rotting and smelled terrible. I was in the store last night 09/13/22 asking for a credit & had my receipt. I was told they could not offer me the credit since I didn’t bring the meat in with me and the person at the customer service desk who said she was a manager told me only the manager that would be in today 09/14/22 could give out credits. I’ve been shopping here for a year & never returned anything. I will try again tonight, but it appears this store does not stand by its products or is concerned about customer service. Why should a customer pay for something that is bad & has an unexpired date??

John at the customer service desk was super helpful. He went above & beyond for us. We called ahead of time to ask if an item was available & he checked and also held it for us. When we arrived at the store to purchase it he checked us out & and was very professional. We also walked around & purchased other items that we were impressed to see. We would highly recommend this super market

Very horrible place ,they left an expired yogurt out there for people to buy . I went to the shop March 11th to buy some groceries only for me to pick up a yogurt that expired since March 7th ,my kids were throwing up only for us to find out it was the expired yogurt I bought from them . Went back to speak with a manager no apology nothing ,he said someone will Call me till now body has called . Well by the time I’m done with them they will know who they messed with.

Love the employees here so nice but I was told during the pandemic I would be chosen as customer of the month or year or something like that was told I would get flowers and a 50 gift card they tool my name number ect I was promised this because they said how nice and polite I always am and also because I intervoeniened when another customer was super rude throwing Toilet paper and paper towels at an employee who is working the self check cash register because you couldn't buy 20 or 30 of each of them like he wanted to So kind of disappointed next I was kind of excited but rather than that love ACME

This ACME needs to add new shopping carts. There were NONE available last Sunday. People were complaining and searching for carts and there weren't many people shopping. The store itself has just about anything you need, but the store seems a bit outdated. It's time to brighten and give it a refresh.

I recently moved here and never seen an acme before! I was shocked to see their unlimited sales! They make shopping easy!

Went here to purchase cold cuts, Simple Green and paper towels. All items were in stock and I purchased my items with ease. I also got a free sample. Awesome service

Prices are comparable to other stores. The store itself is a bit on the dingy side. The staff is usually friendly and helpful. If you are shopping for a specialty diet such as vegan you really have to search because there isn't a dedicated specialty area. The shopping experience isn't great but it isn't terrible.
