👍👍 We came here for the Cider fest in October, which included a tour of all the mansions in the area. I really enjoyed all of them and the tours each house offered. They were all unique and had really fascinating bits of furniture and history. It would be a good place to come if visiting for a few days...

We came here for the Cider fest in October, which included a tour of all the mansions in the area. I really enjoyed all of them and the tours each house offered. They were all unique and had really fascinating bits of furniture and history. It would be a good place to come if visiting for a few days because you get a really good bit of old Philidelphia history as well as a good view and experience in the parks, which are some of the largest in the nation. There's a bus that goes around the park to each home so getting around to all of them is easy. Recommend!

Wonderful opportunity to see a "live" historical event in a famous structure preserved from the 1700s. The architecture is explained by Tour guides. An original Quaker family owned the home and the Founder of Modern Surgery also occupied the home in the 1800s. Very knowledgeable Tour guides. I also attended the candle light concert during the summer and enjoyed the scenic views of the river from a wonderful outdoor patio.

Beautifully situated on the Skuylkill River. Good tour. Information helps to understand PA history pre and post Revolution.
