I highly recommend Michael for anyone interested in personalized training with an expert who listens! Working with Michael at Longevity has been so positive!! I started training with him to feel strong again, at a life stage where work outs from the past no longer worked for me. I needed help to get and keep moving again without hurting myself. Michael and his approach to functional training is really helping me. He’s thoughtful and precise. He clearly explains the set up and the movements, and he’s kind and very encouraging the whole time. Also, the gym space is very clean, spacious and peaceful.

PT had become commonplace but with the influx of personal trainers - almost everyone wants to train you like you are preparing for Rocky 9. Fact is most of us are not training for an event but rather for long term fitness and personally for me the goal is less aesthetic and I want to simply age well, remain active so that I can continue to enjoy an active lifestyle. This is where Michael Romano comes in - his approach is unlike any other that I have seen and is holistic. He makes you slow down before you speed up and is mindful of where you are in your fitness journey. Maybe Mike can help you prepare for an event - I haven’t explored that but I have no hesitation in recommending Mike to anyone that is interested in building a lifelong practice.

Amazing personal fitness and strength training tailored to your needs! I have felt so much stronger and healthier since starting my journey with Mike Romano. His unique style and philosophy has been a major success and I’ve gotten fitter while eliminating certain flare ups and acute pains I’ve experienced in my lower back. Mike listens closely to his clients and makes sure he goes at a proper pace while still challenging the client. He produces fantastic results in a sustainable and healthy manner! He is accommodating, engaging, personable, and very focused on achieving great results. Can’t recommend him more!

I look forward to breathing at least once a week. Mike notices the smallest details of muscles and movements and brings them into my awareness. I am revisiting the physical awareness once held by a younger self. We progress without stress but the progress is there and I highly recommend Mike's meticulous methods.

Mike is a true professional whose approach. Is so much more helpful than trainers I have worked with at health clubs. His observation skills during a remote session were amazing. In one session with interventions I was able To find relief and learn simple exercises I could follow up with. And he follows up with you. His expertise and pacing were exceptional. (And I have worked with many trainers and PTs for back and knee pain, arthritis, aging body 😎) Thanks Mike!

Mike is an amazing trainer. So experienced, knowledgeable & careful. I am learning a lot about my body, how it works and how to help it do the things I want to while building strength. I hate gyms & am wary of the fitness/wellness industry (some bad experiences) and Mike shows how you can be fitness professional with respect for all bodies and without any nonsense.

Mike is a consummate professional and wonderful person. He knows how to tailor his expertise to a wide array of needs, no matter what one's fitness or ability level is. Not only do my sessions help me feel healthier and stronger, they also empower me to work hard, appreciate small wins, and keep going. We are so glad that we are working with Mike and we highly recommend him!

I was looking for a more holistic and balanced approach to fitness and I am so glad I found Mike. I enjoy running and have done a few marathons. While I was very fit in my cardio and endurance, I was feeling I got weaker over time in my upper body and also was losing agility in overall movements. I picked up calisthenics to improve strength. This improved my strength, but I felt I was out of balance in the different muscle groups in the whole body, some getting very strong while others important ones are not exercised. I have been working with Mike for about two months now. I was impressed and intrigued by his unique approach which I haven't experienced anywhere else. I have to admit I still don't fully understand it but I intuitively knew I was on the right path. I already can feel that my body is better connected and more athletic. I was able to transfer the movement patterns I learned in the gym to my running, and also to many of my daily activities. Mike is patient and kind, with incredible knowledge of the human physiology and movements. He is always ready to answer my questions, both in the gym and when away from the gym via text. I am so happy I have found him, and can't wait to see what's ahead in the journey!

I've been working with Mike Romano for several months now and I look forward to every session with him. Mike understands that there is no "one size fits all" approach to fitness and movement and adapts each session to how I am feeling and functioning on that particular day. Mike is knowledgable, kind, encouraging and patient. I love that our workouts are focused on breathing, mobility, creating space in my body where it needs it, reducing stress and tension, and feeling strong! I cannot say enough about Mike and Longevity- he's a lovely human and a wonderful PERSONAL trainer.

Mike has a special gift with folks of a certain age to get them back to feeling physically better. He takes time to explain the how's and why's so that you are comfortable doing what he asks of you. I'm able to take those with me during my own personal training sessions at my gym and I am seeing progress!

Michael is the best trainer with a real focus on posture and longevity. I was just getting back to working out after having two babies, one of which was a C section, and he’s been super attentive and has pointed out certain alignment issues which we’re working on to gradually increase strength but in a way to prevent injuries. Highly recommend !

Mike @ Longevity is awesome. He has been great to work with. He's helped a ton with my lower back pain. I feel confident working out there because I know Mike makes sure any exercise I am doing is correct to prevent injury. Totally recommend!
