    Oh my gosh. They have very poor customer service skills. They give you a very small portion of food. Just so they can charge you extra when you ask them for extra. The food doesn't taste pleasant at all...please don't waste your money going there to buy food!

    ALL MY VEGETARIAN FAMILY! Food as good as everytime I order! Second, review over the past year or so. Due to the Pandemic, sauces have been removed from the condiments counter (yes the Tabasco and Cholula bottles). They've been substituted with Cholula sauce packets which are still good! The Impossible bowl is always flawless considering the ultimate fact that Qdoba has an amazing variety of options for creations. 👌🏼 Bowl price w/ Guacamole: $10.25 and Regular Fountain drink: 2.25! Ambiance of dining area is great, low noise level to barely any and the cleanliness is fairly well considering the flow of customers on select days. Service was smooth, quick and accurate!

    I ordered a chicken quesadilla off doordash from this establishment Well I received my order my order there was no chicken no cheese no sour cream and it was cold. It was just rice and lettuce I paid $18.58 for this order so you know I was disappointed. Doordash gave me $3.00 credit but never again 😪

    I ordered diner from here for the first time and regretted it, false advertising is a great way to make sure a new costumer never comes back.

    This was my first time here. There were only two young ladies in the front working. They were doing the best they could to get orders taken care of. I wasn’t sure what to order so I opted for a ground beef bowl and it was very tasty. I enjoyed it. I will definitely be back. Food service workers are already overworked so I don’t mind if I had to wait a little longer for my food.

    I am highly disappointed by a place that I use to really enjoy. I ordered a salad with shrimp, pico, peppers, and corn salsa. I added extra shrimp for the protein and I received a bowl that was more than half empty with no Lettuce whatsoever and only 6 shrimp. "6" SHRIMP. I paid additional for extra shrimp. I paid $23 for this bowl for dinner on my lunch break at work and now I only have scraps to eat and now Qdoba is closed. I am hungry and frustrated at the carelessness of the workers at the Halsey St, Newark, NJ location. Next time, please consider your customers.

    Every time always the best choice I usually am choosing between Qdoba or Chipotle and am always glad I go with Qdoba here. They always have food ready to go so rarely waiting on items to be ready, and they don’t skimp on the meats or toppings or chips! I swear some other places ration out the chips and guacamole as if your taking from their own personal stash lol! The service is consistently good and illndamn sure keep coming back!

    First of all, I wouldn't eat out of this location if the meal was free and they paid me. My daughter scheduled a job interview via online confirmed and showed up, only to be told the hiring manager wasn't in and to come back the next day after 2. Being excited and eager she wanted to go back. To help her I decided to pick her up from school a bit earlier and take her. We get there only to be told the hiring manager was in the back and would be out shortly. Well needless to say 30 minutes later, I decided to go in and asked for the manager to help my daughter out only to be told the hiring manager had to go to the bank. There was food all over the place. I can see if it was a rush or crowded. Then food all over would be understandable but it was empty. I looked around and it didn't look like the place I would even want my daughter to have her first job at. I am teaching my daughter to be responsible and respectful and between the way this place look and them wasting our time I told my daughter to come on and leave. And the worse part is for the few minutes I was in the store checking on my daughter I come out only to see a cop giving me a ticket. Why does it feel like a set up? I was in my car for 30 mins come out for 3 and I’m getting a parking ticket….

    I love this place. And because of Charlene i will be a forever customer. I ordered food and my salad came a little less than usual. Ivcalled to let them know and charlene not only redid my order.. She gave me extra goodies fotlr the inconvenience. That is what u call great service. And she was so sweet and so down to earth. They really have an amazing person on their staff. She was awesome. Thanl you sweetie.

    Highly disappointed in my order tonight. Got like three pieces of lettuce and four pieces of veggies in my chicken protein bowl. The worse part was it looks like it was made by the manager (black shirt). When the girls are there the orders are always perfect, this guy just didn’t seem interested in making the order the right way and it showed.

    I don’t know what is worse the food quality or the customer service or lack there of. Waited for 20 minutes and only 2 people ahead of me. The team wasn’t even on the same page. Online/ pickup orders coming in and not being fulfilled. Working extremely slow on purpose at this point. It’s always the same thing, I work in the area and always try to stop by. Never again. The guac is always oxidated and tastes sour, the veggies are overly seasoned on top without mixing it, and the steak was meh. It’s so sad because Qdobas can really be good. I use to eat here all the time with 2 of my co workers but quality and value down. It’s so sad.

    They always forget my chips and Queso. Literally the best part Of the meal. When I called and asked About my missing item the person On the phone was rude. Staff laughing in the background. I’m so disappointed because I love qdoba’s please do better Newark location.

    My take-out burrito was missing many of the toppings I had requested, had almost no chicken, very few veggies, no queso sauce and was almost entirely rice. I called the store and they told me I had to come back in and show them the burrito which I was at work and was unable to do. I asked if i could get a refund since my burrito was lacking so many things and they said not unless I came back to show then. So...here it is!

    My first time here the food was amazing, the store was cozy. I loved it & Apparently everyone else too. It did get very busy however the team did great & kept their composure and helped the customers efficiently. I will definitely be returning.

    Terrible customer service everyone at the whole establishment is just nasty and rude and disrespectful everyone has a nasty attitude. I’m someone who’s always there and it’s always a cold greeting. It is evident that none of the employees like the job or they just disapprove of their manager. The manager is also terrible they only want to be nice after you say something to them. I received a order with almost no food inside of it and this has happened on multiple occasions and I’ve been going here for about 4 years.

    My fiance and I walk in and sat down, before we could get situated, a man walks to us and asks what are we doing here. I tell him we're about to study and he tells us that he doesn't want people here like highschool students coming here to chill. Lolz I'm nearly 30, I have a full beard and was just looking at their menu to order something for us. Smh we proceeded to walk out and go to Elan Cafe down the block for food and a study spot.

    Non-existent customer service especially the young man at cash register. I travel down to newark every week to get Mexican food and unfortunately i will no longet do so. Employees are run and insolent and should not be dealing with the public. Unless you want to be spoken to in an impolite way, i would suggest going somewhere else. At furst i thought the kid was having a bad day but its now the third time he was mean, rude and just plain nasty without reason. I hope management is reading these. I dont like to complain but i also hate the fact that i have to discontinue buying Mexican food there on a regular schedule.

    Never again! The shell was stale, They ran out of guacamole, the serving station was a mess there was food everywhere. I should’ve just walked out! what a waste of $10.60 they didn’t even have napkins! Worst experience ever, the food did not taste good or fresh my stomach hurts and the person serving the food was just chewing gum over the food with no mask on.

    I ordered loaded nachos and a rice bowl. The bowls were super soaked and the food was falling out of the bowl. The delivery warned me when he dropped it to me stating it was leaking from the bag.You would think if you send food out for delivery, everything would be cupped off for fresh food. It looked like mush! The sour cream was curdling, the avocado melted! That was disgusting! I tried to to call the location 6 times and no answer. I will be looking for a refund! Oh, I literally live 2 minutes from the location, all the way to the end of the block! There is no excuse for this!

    Guacamole had the avocado Sticker in it & they tried to say avocados come like that .. place always filthy . I tried to give them a chance , workers customer service was alright before that i had to take the guac back but everybody always seems to be having a bad

    Quality dropped. Less food. Smaller packaging. The guacamole tasted processed. The food tasted off and not in a good way. Seems like they're trying to cut costs and eating qdoba for over 15 years, the recent changes aren't good Used to love it but now chipotle will have to be my go to. And I don't even like chipotle's taste profile I don't like the changes at all..

    I LOVE Qdoba food, but the service and portion sizes at this location are TERRIBLE! I’ve had bad experience multiple times at this location. 1) portion sizes are very small. I asked for veggies and she put a small amount to start with. I ask for some more and she barely puts two peppers. So annoying. Asked for some green salsa- again she put very little and even after asking for more, she was so stingy. This is so so so annoying. I get it if you ask fro more chicken or guacamole or queen, but for veggies and salsa? Why so stingy? 2) I used the app to redeem a free entre I had, when I went to scan my rewards, she said the machine was broken! Asked for receipt hoping I could get points offline - you are supposed to be able to do this. I have done it at other locations - receipt was barely legible and had no info on rewards. Not sure if this is a location issue or Qdoba in general, but very annoying. Now I have to reach out to Qdoba corporate and complain that I wasn’t able to redeem my rewards. They should put a sign up front even before you order if their rewards or credit card scanners are not working. 3) she didn’t close my burrito bowl lid properly before putting it in the bag. Sure enough all the juices leaked out and made a mess and got all over my car seat. As I said, I really LOVE Qdoba food over Chipotle - their veggies are so crisp and perfect compared to the soggy ones at chipotle and I wanted to leave a good review for this location, but man they don’t help their cause with the terrible service and portions. The food of course was still good. Wish I got exactly how I wanted it :(

    Had a terrible time. Came at 8pm and they were out of queso and lettuce. I get you close at 9pm but 8pm is way too early to not re stock your kitchen. Everything was just haphazardly put on the burrito it was mostly tortilla. Soda machine wasn’t working either, chicken was old and prolly out for long. Really bad meal, all toppings were either gone or about to run out. Would not recommend.

    The first time I ordered my food wasn’t that great, the steak was very tough and the order of chips I ordered was stale and some was wet but I figured maybe they was having a bad day. I ordered today and everything was Perfect, my food was still hot and my order of chips was fresh.
