Extremely rude manager. I accidentally left an item there when it fell out of the bag. He wouldn't let me finish my story of how the item was left behind. While I was in mid-sentence, he said, "I'll check the camera". He came back and said that he saw the cashier put it in the bag. Again I tried to explain, but he started walking away saying how he hates when people are wrong and keep arguing. He kept saying, I saw, I saw what happened on the camera! I told him he didn't see and that he needed glasses. He told the cashier not to ring me up because I was rude. Well, dear, when your rude to customers, they'll be rude back. If he had listened to my story, he would have looked down and seen the item fall out of the bag after I put it on the floor. Hello! A little curteous service, please!!

The smell inside the store is awful. I went there to buy some tissue and chips. After I left out of the store and looked into my bag there was a big hole that seemed to come from a rat bitting into it. I’m highly upset with this location. They need to build a new one because that’s unacceptable. I’m surprised they didn’t get shut down yet!

Staff is courteous and helpful. The store is clean and for the most part shelves are usually stocked pretty good.

The lady with the glasses think she own this place she gets all her family hired there and they don't do nothing and it smells like rats in there I think she one of the managers her family Liv across the street

They need to get rid of the tall guy and the short lady with the glasses so called manager this lady is hire all her family members and this guy talks a lot of mess someone gonn punch him in the face I promise you..it's gonna be a brawl in there ..then the owner will see..I'll be back to lol when it happen also they items is not closed properly he got the nerve to talk mess cause it spilled ..CLEAN IT UP MAID CAUSE YOU DONT DO NOTHING ELSE BIG FOR NOTHING

This is my favorite family dollar in Newark. The staff is amazing and very friendly and approachable in this location. They keep this store clean and well stocked. I visit almost daily. The employees in this location make you feel like family.

They usually have everything they're supposed to in stock unlike some other locations. Staff always friendly!

Horrible customer service. You had three of the worst employees working for you I have ever seen. The one younger girl that worked there was rude and unprofessional. Instead of her explaining to me that she ran out of paper she'll be right back she just walked off. And then she had the nerve stop a attitude when I asked her where something was in the store. This is the reason why is as African Americans get a bad rap because of how the majority act. You really need to go through some customer service training

Every worker I've encounter with at this location always has an attitude. The customer service is literally speaking under the concrete. I've never had an disagreement or anything with any worker. They're just nasty from open to close. This is not the only location neither.

everything was great they had lines but everywhere you go is line they handle everything well you have some people you just can't make happy but they did the best they could even with all the attitude and cursing they still smile and Serve the People I salute them
