A great community park. A stocked trout pond saw several fisherman today. A fantastic children's playground! Picturesque with a stone bridge and waterfall as well as paddleboat rentals and lots of benches for just relaxing. Also a very well done fitness trail. Worth visiting for most anyone.

Verona Park is a great place to go if you wanna walk along the lake take your dog for a walk or just relax. The park is beautiful and has a gorgeous lake and paddle boats. I would highly recommend this park.

Enjoyable morning walking the trail! Exercise stations along the way! Gorgeous bridges! You can fish trout with a license! Huge play ground and courts! On the weekend you can paddle boat! Beautiful blooms!

A nice park in the hustle and bustle of the city to enjoy nature and outdoors. There is a nice walking trail that loops around the entire lake with various access points. There is a parking lot and a bathroom facility at the center of the park near the bridge. There's fishing, tennis courts, playgrounds so plenty of ame ities to spend the day here.

It’s a wonderful park to walk around the lake and see some waterfowls. There’s a big playground for kids, tennis courts and a small garden. Verona Park has something for everyone to enjoy. It’s just beautiful at any season!

I went here. As you can tell everything is really beautiful there and if you have never been there I recommend going because it is really peaceful. And I love it.

If you are in the Verona area, it is definitely worth spending the day at Verona Park. There is something for everyone playground, garden, lake (with fishing), wrap around trail, boat houses (paddle boat rentals on weekends), pet-friendly, and more. The park is well kept and clean it's always the highlight of my day when I'm in the area.

Greatest park in the area! It’s gigantic, beautiful scenery, well maintained, and has a wonderful community. I highly recommend coming here, whether you’re going on a walk, a run, or want to read a book in a peaceful atmosphere.

I love verona..but I couldn't believe how much algae is in lake. And had to avoid all the geese dropping. Terrible.

It's a very beautiful place, created forehead to walk it and enjoy nature. and the beauty of this park. here you can swim on catamarans on the lake, a very cool playground for children of all ages. except with one there the problem is parking,

Help to safe this beautiful place! Don't be negligent to damages! Verona Park is my favorite place to take a walk and enjoy the nature and wildlife there. I have always taken pride in my community and appreciated how well the county maintains the local parks and reservation areas. And it very painful to see how this beautiful park is suffering from cruel damages of its fields. This damage first started a year and a half ago (Spring/Summer 2020) and it continues happening now (see recent pictures) It was time when the Verona Police, NJ State Police and the Essex County Sherriff’s Office officers frequently drove through the grassy areas and fields, which cause significant damage to the environment. There was at least one instance where a police cruiser got stuck. When this occurs, the damage is even worse: instead of requesting help, they dig their wheels further into the dirt in an attempt to get out. There is a wide enough asphalted path for a police cruiser to drive on. In addition, park visitors let the police vehicles through when they drive around the park, so there should not be any need to go off-road. In all of the observed instances, there is no practical reason or necessity to drive over or through the field, aside from being ignorant and/or disrespectful toward our community. I care about our parks and the environment, and I believe resolving the root cause of this problem will not only help to preserve Verona Park, but also help the police repair its reputation in the community.
