Not the friendliest and unfortunately as a patient did not feel well informed with given procedures to help me feel comfortable. I was simply given consent forms to sign without any additional information. The dentist was cold, even when I attempted to make light of the situation by asking a question. She simply gave me a blank stare as if my question regarding the color of crowns was absurd. There are metal crowns and porcelain ones as well! The care in patient care is becoming nonexistent. The only upside, there is a hygienist there that is the sweetest, she would always try to converse with me which helped calm my nerves. Hopefully she finds a new place of employment that’s matches her warm personality.

Garden State Dental Assoc. is my new place to go for my family’s dental care. My very first visit with my son went quite wrong as I was 10 min behind schedule due to going to their other location. 10 min is all you get for them to cancel your appointment as it turns out. Had to reschedule. My own appointment the following day went well. I had to fill out paperwork and was there for close to an hour before being seen. That 10 min they canceled my son’s appointment for paled in comparison to my wait so I inquired about it. “Why, if the paperwork had to be completed before being seen, would you cancel my son’s appointment?”, I asked. I had finished my paperwork and still waited to be called on. It was close to an hour. Most places give you 20 min before it’s a no go. They insisted that until paperwork is done you won’t be seen and 10 min is all you get. So, to my surprise, the following day for my daughter’s appointment, they called her up with two pages yet to complete. Yeah, I’m still miffed about my son’s cancellation over 10 min. Go figure! That was a 2 star reduction in my satisfaction rating. Reception staff was found to be a little cold by my wife. As for the dental staff, I give them a 5! Let’s see if their handiwork can compare as I have yet to get the drill! 😆

This place is pure trash. I should’ve known better when I was sitting in the lobby and some guy came in heated up about someone in the office hanging up on him because they didn’t want to handle his issue. I second the other review about the hygienist being rude as hell. I went there for an annual cleaning and they did a current X-ray scan (X-ray technician was actually very nice). Hygienist sat down and went to begin the cleaning and just said I needed to come back for a deep clean which I would have to make an appt for. She was so rude I had already decided not to come back to this place. This is after already having issues with my appointment that I made online which the receptionist told me I shouldn’t have done because it’s not accurate. What? Then why do you have that as a service that I can do online then? I called to have my scans transferred and they said I had a bill. A bill for what? My insurance covered the scan. I went in in person and they gave me my scans with no issues Didn’t have to pay. Figured they had originally thought I owed something but insurance covered it as it should have. I get a letter today in the mail they sent me to collections for $90. You people are trash. This place is a scam. I wouldn’t let them work on my enemies mouth let alone my own. Right down the road there is an actual good dental office Roselle Park Dental and Implant. Waaaaay better staff. They actually love their jobs and it shows. The office is beautiful and well kept and clean. The doctors are top notch. Hygienists are the best. ALL charges are discussed up front with a breakdown that is explained to you and there are no hidden charges after the fact. Can’t say enough good things about Roselle Park Dental and Implants. You have been warned stay clear away from this Garden State Dental.

Dr Parker is awesome!! She is nice and has gentle hands. Dr Parker and the people that work with her are super patient if your nervous. They have done great work on my teeth!! I would definitely recommend them!!

They are always very friendly, professional, and willing to do whatever it takes to help. They always schedule appointments as soon as possible and have fixed me up more than once on only a day or fews notice. I always feel welcome, not judged, and know I am in great hands by people who care.

I’ve been coming here since I was a boy. I’m 34 now and never once had a bad experience. The staff has always been polite and super friendly. The hygienist, the nice one with the short hair has been cleaning my teeth forever lol. Never had an issue getting the time and dates that work for me appointment wise either.

I gave this place the benefit of the doubt but when I was told I needed to replace all my cavities… something felt off. The hygienist was rude… had no bedside manner whatsoever. I had an appointment to redo my fillings and when I sat in the chair, they gave me a paper to sign regarding crowns … ummm what???? If I hadn’t read the paper… I wouldn’t have been told I was getting crowns done. Anyway, I felt ultimate pressure from this office. I had oral surgery from a different place to remove my bottom wisdom teeth and this office constantly called me to schedule the deep cleaning even when I had told them I had oral surgery. I don’t know how difficult it was to understand that my gums had been cut open and had stitches. Why would I be doing a deep cleaning anytime soon?? I went for a second opinion about my fillings at another dentist and they told me I didn’t have to redo anything! This place is just greedy and money hungry… no empathy for patients at all. Stay away and listen to the reviews.

I visited this office for a root canal yesterday. I was extremely nervous due to a bad experience from a previous dental office. First, the staff was professional and friendly which is always great when entering a health facility. Now let’s talk about my procedure. Dr. Parker did an outstanding job on my root canal! Before starting I asked if it would be painful and she replied no. In my head I was thinking yeah right (lol). She was gentle, efficient and quick. I felt zero pain and was able to go on with my day without feeling any discomfort. Normally I would take an aspirin to eliminate soreness but I was perfectly fine. Overall a great experience, I highly recommend this dental office! Thank you Dr. Parker and the staff for making me feel safe and comfortable❤️

Waited over an hour for your 30 minutes appt. Poorly manage, went for a cleaning with my insurance and got a surprise bill for extra work that no one consulted with me about. Unprofessional, inefficient, disorganized, too expensive.

I’ve been coming here to do all my dental work the past year and they’ve been nothing but nice to me every time I’m here. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a place that isn’t quick to judge you or your teeth. A common problem with dentist is that they look at you a certain way or talk to you a certain way depending on how your teeth look, but not here nothing but love !! They have been going through a renovation and look fantastic while in the process (:

I was disappointed with my most recent appointment because my appointment time was 11:40 a.m. but wasn't seen until 12:15 p.m. Additionally, even though I was satisfied with the dental work performed and was provided with the cost of some of the service, I found the overall cost to be a little pricey.

so far so good, Sept 8 was a removal of a bridge with a new bridge. Sept 10 still no pain. So I keep you posted Sept 15 next appointment
