Staff I interacted with were really friendly and helpful. A great location for the half marathon I was doing too. And a lovely evening walk around the lake the nugget before. Room was too warm as usual. I'll blame myself for not adjusting the thermostat!

Lovely location, great staff and clean basic rooms. HOWEVER no air condition, heavy winter duvets, tiny window and noisy fan! The room temperature steady +26 dropping to +22 at night time, you are baking day and nights so the quality of the sleep is rubbish. The breakfast room nice and airy, the food average nothing to shout about, Hungry Horse pub is downstairs and some of the hotel rooms are just above the pub so can get noisy from time to time thought it seems to calm down by 10pm ish. Stayed for week due to work trip but sadly would not come back mainly due to very uncomfortable, hot hotel room.

Excellent location, really helpful and friendly staff, lush breakfast including vegan bacon and sausage. Evening food (vegan options) at the Hungry Horse next door were good and the staff were really lovely. The only issue was the rooms were very warm with no AC and limited window opening but there is an option to swap out the quilts for sheets at reception which helps. I would defo stay again if return to MK.

I have to admit I’m not a fan of MK, I’ve visited on a number of occasions and never found somewhere I like but this hotel is different. It’s set by a large and very beautiful lake, the hotel itself is large with comfortable rooms and in a great setting with the fountains and the hungry horse next door. The price was very reasonable and I’d definitely come here again, a strong statement considering how I started this review! The staff were also excellent and very helpful, parking is plentiful and free when you register your vehicle

Room wasnt very clean and looked outdated, someones fake eyelashes were on the floor and hairs and bits in the bed. No air con so the room was 25°C at night. There was also a strong smell of smoke in the room as if someone had been smoking cigarettes.

I was impressed with this travelodge. It's in a good location right by a large lake so plenty of space to stretch your legs. There's a pub next door if you want a drink or an evening meal. You can get breakfast at the hotel, it's not a large dining room but had no trouble getting a table. The staff are friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable with a lovely powerful show. A great stay at a very good price!

Only a quick drink stop whilst out walking the dogs. Found a lovely shady spot to sit near the fountain. They provide dog water bowls and an outside water cask to fill them up, so very dog friendly. Service at bar efficient though rather slow. Prices very reasonable and plastic glasses provided for outside which was good from a health and safety perspective ( though perhaps not environmentally friendly?!) . Clean, tidy and presentable outside.

Travelled here for work. Really easy location to get too, the walk around the lake is beautiful. Only downfalls were the bathroom in the room smelt a bit, no air conditioning (but fan supplied) and the hungary horse attached couldnt cope once it got a bit busier. But other than that everything was great & id come back again.

Bed is a challenge to get on if you're nearer 5ft than 6ft. Location is nice with lake views. The attached Hungry Horse is just about adequate. Staff friendly but could not do after dinner coffee. Breakfast was scrappy - scrambled eggs far far too runny and cheap sausages. Make own tea from an urn so water not boiling Overall will look elsewhere next time although can't fault staff

Very bad experience on this occasion. Had to wait for a table to be cleaned before we could order food. Carpet was covered in food, dirty etc which is a little off putting. Large bone found in the fish so even though they only cook it,i think they should really check these products better serving, could've been dangerous if it had been a Child had bitten into it. Won't be going again, really not worth the time and effort to get there. However on a good note the Staff were friendly.

Lovely clean rooms Lovely staff nothing too much trouble. Hotel is in a lovely setting. We did have a few issues with the a joining pub but nothing terrible and have reviewed separately.

Great room, great location, staff really helpful and friendly. Clean, New looking rooms. However, we used the pub for breakfast and the guy who was meeting guests was really rude, unhelpful, breakfast was until 10am and he was turning customers away saying only fruit left when it was evident there was breakfast still available. These were hotel guests. Reflects on Premier Inn. Breakfast wasn't very good, and I am a regular visitor to Premier Inn. I would not use the pub again but would saty again at the hotel.

Good food and drink friendly staff very popular pub next to the lake. Outdoor dining area next to the fountain is a sun trap take your factor 50. Good value for money, take a spin round the lake to burn off the calories from the food you eat

The room was as you expect from a Premier Inn. I cannot understand why a family room would only have 1 chair. The bed was very high, a child could injure themselves if they fell from it, but comfortable. The bathroom was very small with a shower over the bath which was very high sided with no grab rails. The location is great on the shores of the lake. I would not choose to stay here again.

The rooms were nice, your typical premier inn layout, however the bathrooms were quite small. The hotel sits just outside of Milton Keynes, so it's not really used for night outers and is located next to a lake giving some rooms a nice view.

Pros: plenty of parking. Room was clean. Negatives: really busy when I stayed, not very good sound proofing between rooms.

We went to see Muse at The Bowl in Milton Keynes and this is a short walk from the stadium with free parking. Rooms are slightly tired but clean and comfortable. Staff couldn't be more helpful.

Amazing location on the edge of a very picturesque lake. Rooms were lovely and clean, staff in the most part very helpful apart from when the vending machine took my money but didnt dispatch any product i was told oh well we dont have a key for it. the breakfast was excellent quality and plentiful, serve yourself buffet. The breakfast staff couldnt do enough for you. We will definitely stay here again.

Staff was superb and our checkin was quick and smooth. Room and shower/bath was clean. Bath was on the short side but it was deeper than usual so that more than made up for it. Great views of the lake which is nice to walk around.

Been to a lot of premier Inns. This one very clean and friendly staff. Tea coffee as with all premier Inns as much as you want. Reason not 5 star no lift although it has 3 floors and no attached restaurant. I know that's picking bones, but if you want a meal in the evening you have to pre book at the excellent Hungry Horse next to it. However did do a lovely buffet style breakfast. Parking is very good, plenty of room. We had a small shower en suite, water pressure was intermittent at busy times being on the top floor. Sum up very nice but with minor faults. But hey look what you're paying for a lovely clean comfy room. Highly recommended.

Only a one night stay thank goodness. Bathroom door unable to close properly jammed!! TV channels few and far between. Sound was set so low you could not hear it when the kettle was boiling. Warning be careful of the bed solid steel frame if you knock it with your leg you will you get a severe bruise OUCh !! Overall the place was tired and needs a revamp urgently.

  • 4/5 Tony C. 6 months ago on Google
Beautiful location with a lake that is delightful. I was just a little disappointed that my room wasn't serviced after the first evening but this was a minor issue. The carpet also looked as if it needed a thorough cleaning. The staff seemed polite and friendly. Generally, very good but short of perfect.

Ideal location for the MK Bowl. Parking included. Decent breakfast. Toaster a little fierce but that's all!

We were told Milton Keynes Premier Inns are issuing out charges of over £10 booking fee, as if paying almost £100 for a room isnt enough?? I have been to this hotel around 5 times in 10 years and it is one of my favourites, the staff are lovely, the rooms are comfy and the location is 10/10. This lets it all down because of greed.

Right I’m staying at this hotel on business and I thought it be a good idea prior to my arrival to phone up and confirm booking confirmed the meals etc. Unfortunately, this hotel does not answer phones. You’ll be greeted with one ring and then a message and then cut off so I decided to take a gamble arrived at the hotel. The receptionist was not interested whatsoever. When asked about the meals She just said we only do breakfast I said but what about my evening meal? Unfortunately this hotel does not have a Whitbread owned restaurant only a hungry horse which is independent so unfortunately you have to pay for your own food hopefully your company lets you claim back on expenses, it’s not included as any meal deal package. The room I was allocated was on the top floor. Unfortunately, there are no lifts so if you are a person that has walking difficulties this is going to be a massive problem. My room is fairly size. It’s nice and tidy. It’s pretty standard in Premier Inn layout the bathroom is very small if I’m 4 foot it’s great but cause I’m 6 1/2 foot I’m gonna struggle getting into that bath. outside my window. I have a stagnant looking green pond In the distance. If I twist my head I can see a lake overall this room is okay I can’t disappoint but staying away on business I need somewhere to eat. That’s an issue contacting this hotel is an issue and the smell from that stagnant pond which is full of rubbish. It’s not nice

Accessible room had pub tables right outside the window and even putting the TV on didn't drown out some of the noise. Building has seen better days. Big cracks along the wall below the dado

Love going to this place for dinner and a nice walk. But the fountain has been out of use for what feels like a year. The bluey green water my kids live but have been quite upset each time we visit and it's not on. But other than that place is a nice stay.

  • 4/5 Mark T. 11 months ago on Google
Clean and efficient hotel in a great setting. A couple of minutes walk down to the lake. And ideally suited for Milton Keynes bowl when there's events on which is why we were there. To say the place must've been booked solid you wouldn't have known. So I guess that proves how well managed it is

  • 5/5 Karen S. 11 months ago on Google
Rooms are really clean. Food was bigger than I expected. 15oz gammon had no taste but cooked really well. Staff are really helpful and polite. But they couldn't cope with the amount of customers that went in there Saturday evening before the event. I would recommend this place and definitely stay there again.

Parts of the building are tired and absence of a lift or restaurant not so great but its a peaceful location, the staff were friendly and helpful so overall a decent enough stopover for a couple of nights

Dined at the restaurant... super hunters chicken was rubbery one piece... some the next... fatty the other... one bonus was the bacon was nicely well done.... camembert on the starter looked like it had been beaten up before landing on the cheese sharing platter. Would have complained about our 2 mains but no check back.

I can only speak for the room I stayed in I had a room with no bath on the top floor. There's no lift. The skirting board in the bathroom was filthy and so was under the bed where I put my shoes. The mould round the windows was concerning, as I have asthma. The place wants decorating as it looks old and tired . Clean towels and bed linen. Never enough tea sugar milk and coffee in room but was freely available at reception so another trip down and up the stairs. Narrow drive meant my car was blocked in on Sunday morning as the Linen lorry was not going to move until he'd finished.

Excellent. This hotel is in a pretty spot, just a few minutes from MK centre. The lake is lovely and has a wonderful array of wildlife. You can walk around the lake. The hotel itself is well run and clean. Reception staff were efficient, professional and helpful. It's probably the best Premier Inn I've stayed in. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. For example I asked how to turn the TV off to kill off the standby LED, but it can't be done, when I went back to the room later that evening, the light was masked off.....that's attention to detail. I wouldn't recommend the Hungry Horse next door though, I queued for 40 minutes to get food, though I must say the staff were helpful.

Weather not good, but not bad for a Premier Inn

  • 4/5 Mary T. 4 years ago on Google
Lovely location but some slightly rowdy guests knocking on doors at night. We put this down to the pub next door. The room was very clean and big.

  • 4/5 Brian S. 4 years ago on Google
Good location next to the lake. A few more signs in the corridors for the Restaurant and Reception are needed as the corridors all look the same. Restaurant is an adjoining "Hungry Horse" which is okay for both Dinner and Breakfast. If you want an "overnight" hotel when visiting Bletchley Park this is fine.

Really good. We stayed for one night (Saturday) and the staff were friendly and responsive, the standard of service was excellent, and the amenities good also. If you have kids then the family rooms are a good size (very clean, if looking a little tired), the lake is interesting enough to walk around and see the ducks and geese, and there's a play park in the attached Hungry Horse. We were really impressed and would book here again without hesitation. Special thanks to Tara on the desk for extra tea and coffee, and generally being a decent person!

Been here a few times, rating has stayed 5 star each time. Last visit was a let down though so lost a star (based solely on last visit, this would have been a 2 star review). Felt like we were an inconvenience when checking in - just rude customer service. The toilet seat, wall by mirror and pole holding the shower screen were all dirty. Hotels haven't been open long enough since COVID-19 lockdown to have built up the amount of dirt on these. £29 for the night though. Super comfy bed as always! Great location ?

  • 5/5 Georgie S. 3 years ago on Google
Hotel was absolutely stunning with incredible views and a beautiful feature to overlook whilst eating. Only issue was the hotel has no air conditioning so in the middle of August our room didn't drop below 28°! (Although the hotel did supply a fan in the room to help) just something to note if you cannot tolerate much heat! Also, if you want an evening meal make sure you prebook as with the government's eat out scheme it fills up very quickly!! Overall though we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel!

Everything you would expect from a Premier Inn. My son likes this hotel because of the water fountain than can be seen from many of the rooms. Always clean and tidy when we have stayed. Staff are friendly and helpful, allowed us to swap a ground floor room to upper level room without any fuss. There is a Hungry Horse restaurant too, which also is good. Also there is a lovely lake and grounds to walk around just outside this hotel.

  • 5/5 Richard S. 4 years ago on Google
Clean, tidy efficient. Staff very informative and helpful. Above all, this is a secure, quiet and very clean hotel, with plenty of on site parking. The Hungry Horse pub is linked to provide breakfast and meals. Overall, this Nortel is set away from the main road in to MK and has a pleasant view over a large lake. Fully recommend.

Very nice place. Good size hotel and carpark. Nice location, the staff was friendly. Room was very nice and clean, good size TV and the bed was nice size. The food in the restaurant next door was good, and the breakfast was good there was alot to choose from at the buffer, Hot and cold food. The location of the hotel was nice with a big lake. I would stay there again if in the area.

One of the most picturesque Premier Inns I've been to. It must be beautiful in summer. Watch this space because I will go back in July/August to post more pics. The only thing that wasnt Premier Inn standard was the breakfast. Lots of variety but it was tepid. I think it was a one off, so have to go back to check ?

As a hotel it would make a good market garden. Overpriced breakfast, not well cooked either. Only plus as such is a Premier inn bed. No lifts, so you have to climb four flights of stairs to reach top floor and at 74yrs of age is no fun I can tell you.
