I will not be returning to this office. First issue is when asked the front desk how much was my co pay and they said they don't know until the bill. Not once did they mention when asked about how much my visit was going to be.... 422.70 to be a new patient???? That's crazy. I felt very rushed in the room. Didn't get a chance to actually talk to her about some things and left unsettled. For that amount money I should have had more then 15 minutes. She saw my son as well and the same issue. We both were in and out after the initial wait in less then 20 minutes. She did my visit with my son in the room, which I thought was not right. He was old enough to be out of the room. I'm paying over 500 out of pocket and left very unsettled about a few things. I heard good things about Dr Mahoney but he didn't except my insurance and perhaps it was just a busy day for Dr Croft... But I will not return to her nor refer her. She was nice but in this situation I'd rather have bad bedside manner and be taken care of probably for $422 for the 15 minutes.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mahoney for three years. The staff are wonderful as they do care about your needs. Dr. Mahoney is very easy to talk to as he takes his time to listen to any concerns or questions you may have. I have never felt rushed to get through my appointment. I have had other not so good experiences with other dermatologists. Dr. Mahoney and his team are the best! I wouldn't go elsewhere.

My one and only complaint is that the visit felt rushed. It felt she was in a hurry, I went in for different issues(skin and hair) she gave me information that honestly google had already given me and made feel like my visit wasnt really necessary 🤷🏻‍♀️ I wanted some skin tags removed and her initial answered to that was ‘oh, that’s cosmetic, thats not covered by insurance’ to which I replied ok but what would the cost be. She again said ‘well is not covered by insurance and it depends in what areas in the body you have them …ok ! I want them removed and Ill pay out of pocket! She finally answered and proceeded to burned them (3 in my neck area) $100. Office is clean, no wait time …I guess thats my reason for a 3 stars.

I am incredibly impressed by Dr. Mahoney and his staff. I went to him because I was concerned by a skin lesion that looked suspicious to me and to my husband. Dr. Mahoney agreed and sent it for an immediate biopsy. The diagnosis was less than optimal and additional surgery was completed. He and his staff are unilaterally kind, responsive and proficient. I have utmost confidence in my care in his office. I highly recommend him and his staff.

FEB 1- Initial appointment with Dr. Mahoney. He had me go get bloodwork done which I did the very next day. FEB 6- I logged into my Labcorp portal and saw the results of my bloodwork. I called Mahoney's office and asked as to when he would call me to go over the results. I was told that they don't have the results yet. I let them know that I already had the results and I emailed the results to them. The woman said she would put it in my files and have the doctor give me a call. NO CALL FEB 17- I called back and asked if the doctor was going to call me to go over the results. Same woman that I spoke to on the 6th. She said he was away until the 21st and she would make a note for him to call me. FEB 23- As I write this review... STILL NO CALL From this experience, it is obvious that he does not care and was of no help with my skin issue. What if I did not have the common sense to log into the portal and view my results? A patient would be waiting this long for results....unacceptable and extremely disappointing service! I cancelled my follow up appointment (that was 6 weeks from the initial visit). Why should I waste more of my money at a doctor who doesn't care!?

Worst customer service EVER!! Was told by Madison (Addison) on 3/23 while making appt that it was okay for my children to be accompanied by their grandma to their appt, and nothing else. Show up for appt after being pulled out of school early to attend appt only to be turned away by Dr. Honigbaum who would not treat kids because a parent wasn't there. Understand processes and procedures but issue was at time of making appt. I would have planned for myself or husband to be there if told from the beginning. Was told a consent form would be emailed to me (parent) by Cathy while kids and grandma waited in office, but then owner Erin Mahoney advised kids would not be seen as the md pulled her into the hallway and said she would not treat without a parent there. Mind you kids are established patients and grandma has taken kids to their appts before (but apparently consent expired ). Erin wasn't the most friendliest delivering the message, and told me I should've gone on their site (again nobody mentioned going on their site before appt). I would DEFINITELY not recommend this office, and would give 0 stars if I could! I realize medical care has drastically changed, but all staff needs to be trained to communicate everything from step one and be a little kind, not asking much.

In mid-April I came to have what was undoubtedly a minor growth removed/ treated. I was pretty much dismissed as a waste of time, or at least it felt that way, with a "I'll spray/freeze it and it will be totally gone in two weeks. It is now worse than ever and bleeding because of inability to cover it due to location. And this for an EXTRA $40 charge beyond copay?

Dr. Honigbaum has been knowledgeable, professional, and kind during the past few months that she has treated my minor, but very annoying condition. Her expertise, gentleness, and explanations have all been helpful.

Dr. Honigbaum is very professional, considerate and personable. It’s a pleasure to see her even though It’s sometimes under difficult circumstances dealing with my skin issues. She helps make it a positive experience!

Dr Honigbaum is an outstanding physician who instills trust and confidence in the surgical procedures she accomplishes. Beyond that attribute, she exhibits a warm sincere desire to establish a caring relationship with her patients. I have found a “diamond” to attend my dermatology needs.

Very disappointed. Been going here for 10 years, had to move out of state, and doctor won't refill my prescription. Office staff was very rude. I needed time to find a specialist, and they wouldn't give me a refill for the time needed. I am miserable without my medicine, my eczema is one of the worst cases, they know this. Dr. Mahoney used to go above and beyond (We were seeing him for 10 years...) but does not care individually about his patients anymore or office staff refuses to communicate. Look elsewhere.

I've been a patient for several years and am completely satisfied. The practice is well-run; all staff members are excellent; and Dr. Mahoney is excellent and a great guy as well.

Waited over an hour to see the Dr. for my one year old son. Dr. never came so we had to leave. A courtesy call to let patients know you are running an hour behind would be nice

Dr. Mahoney has been a real life saver for me. From the moment I became a patient of his, I have received nothing but help and the ability to be happy and healthy with my own skin. His treatment and knowledge truly helped me overcome my issue, and take charge of what I can do for it. The staff is so friendly and always helpful. I appreciate everything they all do, and the care I’ve received as a patient. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Mahoney, his knowledge and caring nature will absolutely help you get where you need to be.

My family has had a great experience with Dr. Mahoney. We had originally brought our baby to see him, after he was recommended by our sons pediatrician, because he was having very bad skin reactions as a newborn. He was great with our young son and continued to see him for check ups to make sure Everything was ok. My husband decided to see Dr. Mahoney after this and had a great experience himself as well. It’s great to have a doctor you can trust and have a wonderful experience from the moment you walk in.

I have had Psoriasis for over 36 years & have had numerous Dermatologists. None of the came close to the care & support I receive at Mahoney Dermatology. Dr. Mahoney really listens to you. He takes the time to review your skin issues with you, devises a plan of action and fights for your rights and medication approvals with the insurance companies. His staff is wonderful as well. They are always friendly and always greet you with a smile. I would highly recommend Mahoney Dermatology for all of your skin care needs. They are the best. I am so happy to have found them.

We love Dr. Mahoney and his lovely staff! My family has trusted Mahoney Dermatology for years with our family’s skin & each visit has been a joy. He & his team are knowledgeable, personable, thorough & always ready to answer even what many may consider a “trivial” question. Appointments are always on time, which matters a great deal when kiddos are involved! We recommend this office anytime the word “dermatologist” comes up! Just love these people to pieces!
