Warm staff and a nice location. Might need to get lucky to park but it is worth it. Marble countertop to eat at the counter. Old luncheonette type atmosphere. Ordered chicken and waffles and was happy with portions and service. I'd recommend this to anyone reading. Large outdoor seating and good beer.

Went here on a Saturday afternoon on a whim, looking for brunch that wasn’t huge on portion size or budget. A coin toss decided this place, and I was not disappointed! The meal was just what I wanted; got the fitness omelet with the potatoes instead of a biscuit and they were some of the best I’ve ever had! Super crispy and generous portion. The iced coffee was good; they make it with regular drip. The staff was super nice, Jocelyn was my server and was patient, friendly, and informative. 10/10 will come back again, if just for the potatoes!

Food was absolutely delicious 😋 My friend had a version of their eggs Benedict and raved about it. I had the BLT with fried green tomatoes and potato salad on the side and it was phenomenal. Good service and the weather to sit outside was perfect. Can't wait to be back in Florida to eat here again. A must stop in downtown new port Richey.

Delicious homemade (from scratch as the name implies) foods. Best fried chicken breast ever. Perfectly marinated before dipping in the best light breading and quality fryer oil. This was for the special Benedict using fried chicken pieces over biscuits with poached egg and a jalapeño cheese sauce. Truly original and deeply delicious.

My goto for Shrimp & Grits. Patio is pet friendly along with a very well mannered resident cat who stops by to say hello to guests. Food is delicious w/generous portions. Wait staff is efficient, professional, and super friendly. Love this place.

Food was bland, even for a diner. Biscuits and gravy had minimal flavor and the burger tasted like it was just thawed out and cooked, definitely not fresh. You can tell they have attempted to update the decor some. Took over 30 minutes for our food and the waitress never checked on us after bringing drinks. The bathroom could use a good wipe down. Staff was friendly but to be honest I’m not sure how this place has 4.7 stars. You can go to a First Watch and get better quality food at a cheaper price.

We tried this place for the first time today and it didn’t disappoint. The only issue was the amount of bee’s while sitting outside.

Stopped in while visiting family. My husband and I enjoyed the food so much. The owner came to our table and had a nice chat with us. Made the experience even better. We went on a Sunday, so there was a crowd but we only waited about 20 minutes. It was worth it. I'm definitely stopping by every time we come back to Florida

Herschel's has been and still is a favorite go-to place. I was a little skeptical since being run by new owners, but based on my experiences, they are still a fave, and I highly recommend them. Christmas Eve, I enjoyed the Farm House Benedict. The food was prepared right and was delicious. I was on a tight schedule and just wanted to get in and out. The staff helped me achieve that. If there was one thing I would change it is for them to carry at least one more from scratch desert, and it could even be something like a fresh baked apple pie, alamode, and even with cheddar.
