Maximo park is located at the foot of 275 leading you to the bridge. Great place to spend the day or just a few hours. Yes Park has it all. You can bring a picnic and enjoy one of the covered pavilions. There’s also a covered playground for the children. You could also walk your dog on a leash. Don’t forget the boat. There’s a beautiful boat launch. This is a great place to stop and enjoy Florida is beautiful Coast.

Well kept, clean, and plenty to do in this quiet gem tucked off the interstate and off the bay. There is a boat ramp with plenty of parking or space with trailers. There is a long area of paths for walking and biking, most of which is shaded. This park has 18 holes of frisbee golf that wind throughout the park. There is a playground area for kids, an observation deck with a spiral staircase up to the top covered platform. Covered areas with benches and grills, small beach areas along the water and fantastic views out to the bay. Great area for all kinds of activities.

Nice park. There's a frisbee place to play. Couple of boat launchers. Laid back atmosphere. They're some picnic tables around. A bathroom. Haven't seen any gators.

A great place to walk your dog! Definitely a little rough trying to find parking during prime time, but doable and so worth the little adventure. It’s not a challenging trail by any means, but a nice walk through some wooded areas while navigating around the disc golf courses. I love that they show whether or not the water is safe and that my dog can walk along the shoreline and romp around in the wake without having to go to an actual beach.

So pretty here I love this Place so much. It's perfect for Picnics and birthday parties! Or to fish or launch your Kayaks or Jet skis! They have a nice fenced in kids play area and right across from it, beach access. My kids love this place because it has both of those options so close together. I would definitely recommend this place for fun little family trips on the wknds and during the week too!!!

Launching out of Maximo gives you good access to Tampa Bay for boating our fishing. Its free to launch and is easy to get too. For fishing purposes we found lots of great areas to wet a line and catch some nice fish. White bait as it referred to is available right in the bay just outside of the launch access canal. It is a launch we will definitely use again.

Very well maintained but slightly crowded park. One party in particular was throwing trash around and graffiti was all over the tower. The view was nice though, and the parking is free. Good place for disc golf too, although I didn't play while I was there I saw several others.

I love Maximo. When I visited this trip, I was actually following a pair of bald eagles on my scooter. I think they went toward the water treatment facility across the water from Maximo. I did, however, find some vultures, an egret, and a sweet sunset. Really a great park with a lot to see and plenty to do.

Perfect place for sunset. This park is beautiful. Decent size area to walk on the shore. There is a tower to overlook the water. This park also includes a disc golf course and playground.

A nice park to walk, bike, picnic, swim, and even play a round of Frisbee golf. You can also launch a boat or kayak there. 👍🌴🌅🏖

Beautiful hidden gem of a park! Peaceful and relaxing to say the least! Clean facilities (although the bathrooms are old, there are kept pretty clean) and friendly people were out & about enjoying the sunshine! 💛

One of my fav places for me and my son. Access to a small beach, dock for fishing, small trail for walking..I prefer other beaches at times, but this is a great place to get a few minutes of nature's medicine ☀️ Friendly to dogs, although they're not allowed on the beach...

True Florida. An archaeological site with real history to see if you know what to look for.. Beautiful wildlife and friendly Southside people. This is the real St. Petersburg. Boat ramp and frolf as well.

I would normally give this park a higher rating cuz it's very nice but it is hazardous

On Maximo Pass. Nice views, boat ramps, good picnic areas, public restroom. Disc golf course, some walking paths, small observation tower. Always a nice place to hang out for a couple hours.

Picked up here for fishing charter. Easy in and out and plenty of parking. Only complaint is no filet table.

Amazingly beautiful and challenging disc golf course. Well designed with minimum foot traffic intersection, combined with a calm shallow beach for family to play nearby, makes for an entire day of play.

Very nice park! Had a picnic lunch here on a long drive. We (and the fur baby) stretched our legs, daughter played on the playground. We went up to the observation deck. If we lived closer, we'd definitely come here often.

What an awesome park! The covered playground is great for the kids! There are plenty of picnic tables and benches for folks to sit by the water. There is frisbee, a great boat ramp, and more. It's great for us at St Charles Row apartments since it's only a 5 minute drive away!

My home disc golf course. It is beautiful. Must go if you love sunsets and disc golf!

A great discovery!!! Views, breeze... I call it "hide-a-way" Park found when I had Covid and could go out but stay away from others. Beautiful!

Excellent little place for an impromptu picnic! Nice and shaded. PLENTY of seating and most of it us under pavilions. There were a lot of families there bbqing and having a blast! A++!!
