What place charges people for a lap infant? My family and I go to the Artis each year for the Nutcracker- I was with a group of 11 people and I was turned away at the door because I needed to purchase a ticket for my 8 month old baby to sit on my lap. Went to the box office to buy the cheapest ticket possible and I was told it was sold out. But they were magically able to still collect my money to bring my baby inside to breathe the most expensive oxygen there is. Please justify any reason an 8 month old should be charged for a ticket when they are not using a seat or even comprehending where they are. Not even airlines charge for babies. Super disappointing, we will likely be changing venues for our annual family nutcracker night.

Wonderful venue. Really intimate. All seats are good. The staff was really nice and helpful. Showing you where your seats are. They had two open bars. Beer, wine, High Noon, water and soda. Wonderful acoustics. There is valet parking. There is parking nearby and it's free, is not far if you want to park yourself. Great night!

The musical hall is beautiful! We were here to watch the Christmas POPs and it was definitely worth it! The Naples philharmonic are spectacular and we highly recommend that you visit here to listen to their performance!

We have had season tickets here for several years and never been disappointed. My only complaint is the ticket prices seem high, this is not NYC Broadway! The Baker museum has some interesting art, but not worth the price of admission. Go on "Art after Hours" days (last Wed. of month in season) when admission to the museum is free.

Saw Jesus Superstar yesterday matinee. The talent of these hardworking performers is truly amazing! What a show!! It was tasteful and inspiring. I’m still in awe of the singing, dancing, and modern day message. It meant more to me than in the 70s when I saw it on Broadway.

We love the Artis. The Pops, Visiting Orchestra and the Broadway musicals are wonderful. Even though we are very disappointed in the food at Heidi’s Place, we would like to thank one of the people that works at the concession. Matt is friendly, professional and always wants to make sure you are happy with the soup or food you select. We hope that next season the food selections will be better and tastier. We also hope the new restaurant will finally be available to the public.

Saw Hadestown at the Artis. Our fault l, but we went without eating first and as far as we could tell, all that was available for purchase was drinks and show merch. Some small food options prior to the show would be welcomed. The box seats are ok - unless you’re to the side and behind a tall man - then you’ll miss part of the stage and have to move around all night to see what you can. Not a great experience with this venue. Parking was easy and we were able to get in and out quick.

Went to the Art After Hours event at The Baker Museum. Last Wednesday of each month, from 6pm to 9pm. Cool museum!

Beautiful concert hall / theater. Not a bad seat in the house. Great place to see a Broadway show, concert, or special event.

I visited Artis-Naples for the first time during Spring 2019 when Isabelle de Borchgrave's "Paper Dress" exhibit was there and had a wonderful time. The exhibit (and museum in general) was larger than I expected, which was a welcomed surprise. Our entire visit was lovely and the museum galleries, cafe, and restrooms all impeccably maintained. I really enjoyed how the exterior sculptures helped patrons start their cultural experience from the moment they entered the parking lot, too. I truly look forward to returning for more exhibits and shows in the future.

This place was neat! They had 2 of the 4 wings open for us to visit. Short, quick walk thru but the pieces were great. The inside staff was knowledgeable and very friendly. The ticket people, we asked for a discount since the Baker museum part was closed and they refused, but as we were going to pay, she asked us if we were BoA cardholders because we could get in free. I dont think if we didn't ask, she wouldve offered the discount.. 1 star less for the ticket situation and for the parking and finding the place. GPS doesnt bring you there all the way..and once you find it, parking is ok.

Baker Museum contains an interesting eclectic selection of works of art over a couple of centuries. The theatre also has art by local current artists which worth exploring. Both have excellent gift shops with quality items, especially jewelry. Definitely above the norm.

Young Person’s Concert: Once Upon a Symphony. Great opportunity for elementary school children to experience the variety and range of music. Many have never had this opportunity. Thank you.

Update: I changed my rating from 1 to 4 stars due to being contacted by Artis in response to my less than stellar review. They wanted to, “make it right” by offering tickets to a different show. I kindly declined their offer but was very impressed with the concern for our experience. I have and will continue to watch shows at Artis. Thank you and your musicians for what you do. This is a review for "John William's favorites" and specifically the conductor, Jack Everly. We took a group with children who were very excited to hear the Jurassic Park theme, and it was cut for fanfare. Do better and follow your own program.

Last evening's performance of Company was disappointing and our group left at intermission- can't remember ever doing that before! Last night I saw Tina and it was spectacular- chatted with everyone around our seats about Company- seems everyone left- never heard from anyone at Artis! We will continue to support Artis and buy tickets but hopeful NO more experiences like Company! Thanks

We went to a Masterclass taught by Midori for 4 youth orchestra musicians. It was just wonderful to seeing then respond to her comments and suggestions. This is just one of the great things about Artis in Naples.

Excellent atmosphere and displays. We took our 10-month old twins and they loved the variety of colors and the glass ceiling display.

Very unwelcoming place. We were blocked from entering by an older female attendant who insisted our bags were "too large "even though they both fit the size constraints, which I have NEVER seen before at an Art Museum. The attendant acted as if this was common place, and was incredibly rude and condescending throughout the entire interaction. This interaction completely discouraged us from visiting the museum, and we will likely never return.

Artis is a beautiful luxury venue with contemporary art, modern architecture, and an auditorium with an old fashioned, upscale feel. There isn't a bad seat in the house and the acoustics are superb. I've seen orchestras, choirs, and graduations and each experience was lifted because of this location.

I have been to quite a few museums but WOULD NOT RECOMMEND anyone here.Went to this museum with friends for her birthday and we ended up leaving without finishing the tour. We were constantly being followed as though we stole something. I broke away from our small group of 7 just to observe the monitoring of other guest. There was a family there with two smaller children. No employee monitored them. Children were in one room hands on walls while parents snapped pictures in the next room. No employee quickly ran to watch. Another couple dragged through rooms cuddling and laughing sitting on the benches and taking very close looks, no one followed. We stated becoming very agitated by their behavior but continued viewing the art and commenting on the pieces. Employees seemed as though they were prompted from the ear pieces in their ear which move we were making to keep track. Some employees like Venessa seemed disgusted and did not respond as we said hello passing by. The final draw was noticing an older employee also keeping an eye on us, we’re taking pictures of my friends as they left the room with her phone. The first time she snapped us I thought she was trying to see something on her phone. Then in the next room I see her turn her body and phone sideways to snap them as they left. I said it out loud to my friends that she snapped them, she then got up and quickly walked away. We then went to the desk at the entrance and let them know what just happened but they all disguised the matter and did nothing so we left.

Beautiful concert hall a few minutes away from Naples downtown. Friendly and efficient staff. Large parking space around the hall.

Our first visit to the venue. We thought the Hayes Hall and the museum were wonderful. Love Gershwin Rhapsody in Blue so the double dose for the recent concert was a real treat even though the opening clarinet solo was unfortunately botched for both versions. The pianist and the orchestra were wonderful. But the two Schoenberg pieces were a big miss - the songs were tedious, long and untuneful. It was painful to sit through and we can't imagine why the audience was subjected to two doses of it in one evening. It was obvious that this composer is a favorite of the conductor but not what a "Gershwin" audience was looking for. Most of the fellow patrons sitting in the boxes around us did not applaud for either of the pieces. I kept an open mind for the first one but by the second round, I was ready to leave but the second Gershwin was last in the program and I didn't want to miss it.
