Amazing find. Affordable yet same amenities you would find at a 4-5 star hotel !! The owners are on site and have thought of everything to make our stay great. Clean. Comfortable king size bed. 55 inch Smart TV. The shower is amazing. Great water pressure and dual shower head. In addition, there is a coin operated laundry, an elevator (3 floors) and gated free parking. So convenient location for the greater Los Angeles area. Can't wait to stay again when visiting our family here.

WOW! What an awesome little gem in Southern California! The room that we stayed was super clean and recently remodeled - more like a 4 star hotel room. The gated door to the motel which closed at night made it feel super safe. I had a small issue with getting my hotel receipt after my stay but the owner/managers were extremely helpful in following up and quickly emailed my receipt. We’ll definitely stay here the next time we are in the area!

What a great place!! Clean, comfortable, beautifully updated, wonderful staff, and does not at all feel like a hotel. Incredible value for the price. No coffee maker, but the TV channel selection/size, plush mattress, freezing A/C, as well as the giant soaking tub was worth it. I will be staying here again on my next business trip.

Definetly a place I'd stay again when in LA! The room had a modernized look, clean, affordable, had complementary shower basics (shampoo, conditioner, Body wash) and staff was friendly. I liked that parking was not an extra additional fee, it was guaranteed 1 car spot per room. In addition, it was good to know that if I ever upgrade to an electric car, they had a charging station. Fairly close to everything my husband and I enjoy in LA too. Nothing else we could of asked for 😃.

Clean, spacious, safe for women traveling solo, easy parking, kind and helpful staff. I will go back there next time I visit. The front gate opens automatically during the day when your car approaches, at night you have to tap your key card. The only thing to be mindful of is that neighboring rooms can hear each other quite well.

We stayed here for 5 days and did not have one complaint about the place! It's a small spot nestled between the mountains in Glendale, and super close to the freeway so very convenient. A safe place for family, safe to walk as well. The rooms modern and clean. 👌🏼 Amazing people in the office, and very helpful and accommodating. We will be back when we visit LA! ♥️

Great place to stay! Convenient location, the room was clean and cozy. The bathroom was clean and the shower was amazing. Costs a little bit more than budget motels but definitely worth it!

This motel is awesome! My room was super cute and clean. The design of the room is very modern with fun surprises. The shower was delicious. The staff were super friendly and helpful. There are several restaurants and a Ralphs within easy walking distance. Next time I'm in Glendale I will definitely stay again

Our stay at Sakura was the very best choice possible. Very comfortable mattress for good night's sleep, spotlessly clean and well appointed room, free on-premises secure parking and good central location. The owners are friendly and hospitable people, assistive in every way possible to provide your with a great experience. Their suggestions and recommendations were spot-on. Would certainly stay here again.

The motel is really stunning! The staff is super friendly and accommodating, at check-in we were even given tips about restaurants, that was really nice! Our room was modern and I found the bathroom especially positive. It had European standard, that had pleased me very much. Also the topic of security is written here big. All around, simply recommended, thank you! 😊

Excellent. The owners couldn't be more helpful and attentive. The rooms were fantastic and all look like they have recently been updated as the bathroom in our room was massive with walk in rain fall shower. Nice location as well for getting to LA by car and plenty of places to eat as well in Glendale. There's also a Ralph's supermarket 5 minutes walk if want any supply's. Car park also secure and safe. Overall excellent little place to stay just outside of the very expensive Los Angeles.

Honestly, this place is the best deal in town. We recently stayed here because we had a wedding to attend in the area. It's close to a grocery store which was very convenient. The rooms are spacious, clean, and newly renovated. Karen who checked us in at the front desk was delightful. Would definitely stay here again.

On a cross country road trip, this motel has stood out the most! Super clean, room is fantastic, bathroom is above standards. There is a secure parking lot and even EV charging station, which we didn’t expect but came in handy. Staff is very friendly. We’ll do our best to stay here again next time we’re in LA.

Clean space, wood floor, comfortable beds, right size of bathroom, with microwave oven and dining table for four - what I always like about this place. Friendly staff is a bonus. They can assists you also during reservation via a quick call. Oh, I can charge my EV too for free! This was my 3rd stay and won’t be the last.

Correctly highly rated. I love these family owned CA motels. Spacious rooms, fridge and microwave, very helpful staff. The Sakura also has an automated parking lot gate for the security conscious. WiFi was very good. Ralph's is within walking distance and the motel is close to all the Pasadena attractions.

Very clean rooms, comfortable beds, and great service from the owners. Excellent location, close to the freeway and a grocery store just down the street. Close to great shopping, restaurants and easy access to Dodgers Stadium. Would 100% stay again. The parking lot is tight and those with larger SUVs may have trouble if arriving late and only compact car spots available.

Needed a place to stay near Universal. These rooms were clean, priced adequate, secured parking and staff were friendly. If I'm ever in the area again, I would consider this motel. If you have an EV vehicle, you may be able to take advantage of the on-site charger that is on a first come first serve basis.

We had a lovely stay at this Motel! It was very clean and updated! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We even accidentally left a $300 bottle of wine in our room when we checked out, and they called us to let us know so we could get it! Very honest! The beds are very comfy too and Netflix is available for log in on the TV :)

This was a 5 star review until I noticed I was charged twice for a one night stay, which you can't be holding up other people's money, not cool! That's money I don't have access to because someone on your end made a mistake. The rooms where great that's why this is 2 star instead of 1 I got off the phone with my bank turns out they double charge you and request a security deposit none of which they tell you except about the deposit. I was going to recommend this place but after what they did with my account, I will NEVER stay here again. Such a shame too, the rooms where nice, the lady at the desk was nice, everything was great until I saw the aftermath done to my checking account, if they said that up front that would have been different, what they did was scandalous! Ruined a perfectly good time. Thanks

This is a hidden gem. I am big about reviews when it comes to accommodations. And my husband is pretty picky. This motel had better reviews than the Hyatt! Alex and his wife were SUPER accommodating. He called when our room was ready as we got in super early into LA. They are very personable and kind! The rooms have no carpet! Which I love as my allergies can not take it sometimes. So clean and perfect for our stay. The parking lot is gated after 5 pm, which is a bonus! I would stay here again and recommend it to my friends who come to visit the area. 35 from the airport, 17 from downtown, and about 20 to Hollywood.

Super clean and safe place to stay!! The rooms are spotless and look recently remodeled. The staff is helpful, accommodating and responsive. If staying in the Glendale area, I would look no further. Bonus: fantastic vending machine (see pic below: Pocky, Blueberry Muffin KitKats, Hi-Chew, various teas, Cactus Cooler).

This place is a hidden gem. I don't usually like to stay in motels but the reviews were so high and the price was so reasonable that we had to try it. It appears that it is owned by a mom and pop Japanese couple. They are so very nice. The rooms are so clean and have very modern furniture. The shower was powerful. They thought of whatever you might need to make your stay comfortable. Microwave and refrigerator. Kettle for tea and Japanese drip coffee. They even provided a bottle and wine opener. The vending machine had japanese tea and shrimp chips!!! We really loved staying here and will definitely be back again if in Los Angeles. This place deserves the high reviews.

One of a real gems of Glendale and LA area. This motel hits 5* no doubt. Exceptionally clean, rooms are spacious, well maintained. Managers really cares about travelers and make them coming back again and again whenever I need another night to stay there. My schedule is very unpredictable so I always have to decide whether I need to take one more day/night just before a checkout time and Alex, the manager, always assist me a lot giving me the best rates to expand my stay. Really appreciate such a business attitude.

All the great reviews for this motel are accurate! Just returned from a four night stay and couldn't be happier with my experience. Rooms were very clean and nicely appointed. Shower water pressure was amazing. Large TV with Roku is fantastic! Being able to park my car steps from my room and knowing that it was secured behind a gate at night was extremely comforting. There is an elevator if your luggage is heavy and you are on an upper floor plus a washing machine and dryer on ground floor. But the best feature of this motel are the managers. They are so friendly, accommodating and easy going. I felt very welcome and very safe the entire stay. Highly recommend the Motel Sakura!

Excellent 4 day stay. Seemed very safe. Rooms very clean and modern. Great location. Less than 3 blocks from grocery store, Starbucks and McDonalds as well as other local eateries. Highly recommend

This is by far the most beautiful room we have stayed in. They are super friendly and the rooms are incredible!! Will definitely stay here again!!!! It doesn't look like anything extravagant and then you walk in your room. They have a great area for grilling with strong lights and all.

The rooms are so clean and extremely comfortable. Bathrooms are all updated and ours had a rain shower shower head. Very soothing. The owner is the sweetest and the cat Golden Boy is adorable. You will love staying here. 10 out of 10.

The rooms in this Glendale Motel were super modern, fresh and clean... The best of all the hotels and motels we stayed in on a week long Californian road-trip. Big comfortable bed, great lighting, and superb bathroom. Fridge and microwave and modern large TV. Easy parking and super friendly staff.

I would like to recommend this motel to anyone looking for a place to stay around the area. They were incredibly accommodating and friendly! The room was clean and comfy, no complaints about anything about the room. Everything in the room worked great and had no problems. It was spacious and exactly what we needed. We were there for a weekend getaway and spent it feeling like we made a great choice in staying here. The price was very reasonable and the fact that it had a gated parking area for the guests was a plus. Would very likely stay here again if we come back to the area.

Very Nice place to stay while in Los Angeles. It is a very clean and bright room! I love the soap dispenser by the sink. The bathroom is very nice! The shower has these awesome shampoo, conditioner and body wash. It smells great! Sofa in the room makes the room feel cozy and relaxing!

Excellent little motel. The rooms appear to have been very recently remodeled. They look great and makes staying in a motel feel luxurious. Our plane came in late and the front desk was very kind. I was so worried we’d have no where to stay! She also did an excellent job explaining all the odds and ends of the room and entry/exit to this secure location. A big bonus for me, they have a full sized ironing board with an iron. We had a wedding to go to and the ironing board came in handy! My husband really enjoyed the very large tv. We’d absolutely stay here again.

Very friendly and welcoming staff! Hotel is in great shape and I love the gated parking lot since I love my car a lot. Felt very safe. Will definitely book again whenever I am in Glendale again.
