This hotel is the worst one I have ever stayed. 1. the rooms are very very old and smells bad too. 2. the environment looks very dirty probably because it's very old, and it still looks very dirty no matter how you clean. 3. the service at front desk needs a lot of improvement, they told one thing yesterday and totally forgot it today. Be away from such a bad hotel if you want to have a good night.

First, let me start off with DON'T STAY HERE! I was informed by the Los Angeles County police that this is the MOST unsafe areas, and they weren't surprised I had issues. You might ask why I was talking to the police that is because during my stay, housekeeping went into our personal belongings and stole our personal possessions, which include medical equipment for our disabled child! There is no way you can shake this that doesn't explain unprofessionalism. In NO shape should ANYONE be going through our bags. Unfortunately, this is just 1 incident in a looooong line of things. Upon check-in, I was spoken to in the most rudest manner and was basically accused of using someone else's card. This shook me from the get. There was no discussion of what type of room I would need, and no paperwork handed to me telling me how much I was going to be paying. I was required to fill out forms so they could CHARGE me for parking. Mind you, I parked in the legally marked handicap parking spot with our placard, which was uncovered and fully exposed to the downpour of rain. When I finished, I was not given directions on how to get to my room, just handed key card envelope with the key and room number inside. When I reached the room, it was not accessible even for us to enter with our medical equipment. I literally had to move a bench to allow us to enter the room. Once in the room, I discovered it smelt like wet dog. I immediately reported all the above issues in writing to never have the hotel acknowledge the email or handle the situation. They left us in that room for the entire 3 night stay. The room phone had no cord, which made calling down to the front desk impossible. I, in fact, had to call with my cell phone 3 times to tell them that the phone had no cord. I needed an extra blank to put down on the dirty floor for our disabled family member to be able to sit. If it hadn't been for the maintenance guy that came and fixed the room phone and helped move the bed we would not have been able to sleep safely nor have space to access the room for our disabled family member to eat, interact, basically the normal everyday life stuff. At the time, I was a God send. And it was trying to make the best of an incrediblely awful situation. It was only until on the 3rd night I discovered that wet dog smell was actually because the floor and wall were wet and more thank likely mold growing. For 3 days, we were in that room day and night with only to leave for a 3 hour span and for an ok breakfast, pretty standard warm breakfast. I also discovered the morning after our first stay that the rooms only window was left UNLOCKED and their was no screen and it opened enough for someone to be able to get in and out to the unnecessary balcony. The window was cracked even, and water was accumulating on the inside pane, which is what was probably seeping into the wall down to the floor. On our second day/night, I discovered that the phone STILL didn't work. No one could call into our room. Supposedly, the excuse is that there were messages and messages on the phone no one can call in. However, the phone didn't even blink that messages were there. The staff cleared Saud messages, and I had no clue what or who the messages were from. I showed the staff member that I couldn't even get the wifi to work on my computer. Without a working phone or wifi and a completely dead cellphone since I had been using the Hotspot for my internet access and my cord broke, we had no access to the outside world we could even order door dash for food for dinner. Which is why my family members were trying to call the room so they could dash us something. Unfortunately, when my sister called, she was met with the same hositiy i received during check-in, and the staff person refused to give their name and hung up on her. On our 3 thrid day of our stay I was told by the staff someone would come up and fix the wifi, they never showed! Housekeeping never showed this day as well! I've been a long customer of Holiday Inn. However, after this experience, I am really rethinking it.

I have been so completely pleased with this hotel experience. They were SO kind to get us checked in early without gouging us with extra charges. The room is so spacious! The bed is comfortable, the breakfast was perfect, and all of the staff are SO nice!!! Do not hesitate to stay here. Added bonus there are amenities of all kinds very close and parking is free!! You can't beat it!!!

This place has gone downhill in just 2 years. Updated on May 1st 2022. 1. The room I was given was on the 4th floor after asking the clerk. Originally it was 2nd or 3rd with loud neighbors. just a good guess since this property fits that standard. 2. The room smells very old. 3. I think they actually remodeled one room to the newer style Holiday Inns (that they actually use in pictures). My room is very old compared to rooms at other Holiday Inns. These rooms are very dark from 2000-2006. 4. WARNING! EXTREMELY HIGH DEPOSITS HERE A. This motel authorizes $150.00 to your credit/or debit card here above the price of the room, and tax. B. The authorization will take 10 business days to be removed. *Check your account to be sure the property doesn't post the charge to your account rather than release it after 10 long business days. C. The average Holiday Inn authorizes anywhere from $10.00 per night, to $30.00 per night. Anything above $50.00 is outrageous for a motel chain. Holiday Inn is a motel chain. This is unfair to the leisure, or business traveler. I would not recommend this property unless you get a very cheap price under $75.00. The property again is very old, the hallways are old, the carpets are old, and the rooms smell. I never can understand how a Holiday Inn justifies authorization to a guests credit/or debit card for $150 when this is a motel, not a hotel that has room service. Stay somewhere else. I will never stay here again. I happened to be unable to cancel my stay due to using points to stay here. Always call the motel in advance to verify the deposit. It's funny, the more I travel for work, the worse the Holiday Inn's get. From noise, fights, weed, loud parties, and homeless people. It's very sad. Sleeping in my company car seems like a much better choice then this smelly property. I have requested that my company allow my team to stay at a better brand. IHG is horrible.

Hotel, though an older building, was modern and immaculately clean. The breakfast options were great, and parking was plentiful. The nightly rate was very affordable, and the hotel was in a great location close to everything around Pasadena. Although I didn't use it, the pool seemed very inviting.

It's an older hotel but not outdated. We experienced a few problems in our room that never got resolved. They didn't even refund us any money. The safe didn't work, the automatic blind got stuck up, the thermostat was not working and we had ants in the bathroom! Not just one day either, we were there 6 days and every day I was disposing of them. Staff was very cordial and nice. Maintenance was not very helpful and didn't speak English very well to at all, so his trying to explain and help was more of a hit or miss. The breakfast was standard. But the amount of info they had for the rose bowl was stellar! Very thought out and helpful.

If I could I would give this hotel no stars. I checked-into the hotel, went up to my room on April 23rd 2022 and it smelled odd. I became nauseated from the smell. My stomach did not feel well. Then, I asked for another room. I viewed it first to find out if it had the same smell and it did. I believe that there is mold in those two rooms. Also, the hallways had the same time of smell. I have smelled mold in some areas near the beach. Mold is very toxic to breath in. I hope that the hotel finds a specialist to investigate this situation, for the health of the employees and guests who stay there. I ended up not spending the night at this hotel, but another one.

Nice clean hotel in Pasadena. What I like the best is their customer service and friendly staff. I have stayed here many times and especially love the King size rooms. The pool and Jacuzzi is relaxing. Good choices of food for breakfast. Once I left some personal belongings in the old room and their manager on duty, David took immediate action and found it even though it was 10 pm. The beds are comfortable and generally the hotel price is very compatible.

I am a loyal gold member for many years, this is the second time I am facing this kind of issue at the same location. The receptionist - named Dana, demanded a deposit equivalent to the room’s full price, thus undermining my membership status and questioning my honest track record. When we asked for the shaving kit, she provided only razors, refused to give the shaving foam - explaining that the hotel doesn’t carry that, instead suggested to buy it from the store just next to her, located inside the hotel for $5. Usually we get the exact same size of the foam for free, that is supposed to be included in the kit as mentioned on IHG’s website. It is not a matter of money, rather a matter of integrity and the appreciation of my membership and loyalty. I was very disappointed by this, since I always choose Holiday Inn when looking for hotels and expecting quality customer service, even internationally - in Kuwait, Ukraine, Armenia, and all over the United States as well, but my recent experience fell quite short.

Bad customer service at front desk. Reserved 4 nights with points, however on last day front desk told me I have to pay for last day. Some confusion happened, however front desk did not help or care to help. Next day, I talked to manager and she did not seem to care about bad customer expierience either. Never want to stay in a place where employees don't care about customer service.

Good hotel. Location is great. Just off highway 210. Decent breakfast. Room was clean. Front desk folks were courteous. Had a decent fitness center. Had a pool but couldn't use it was outdoors and temperature was still low. Carpets in the corridors and rooms have a slight musty smell.

Night staff seemed agitated and rude when asked for coffee when the pot was empty. Breakfast service was slow during morning hours with items being brought to breakfast only when a guest would tell the front desk. Rooms felt damp and smelled like the carpet was soaking wet some where in the lobby of the floor. Smaller rooms compared to other holiday inn hotels. Parking was charged even though they have their own parking lot and garage. The area has Amazon fresh and Whole Foods nearby. Hotel is surrounded by car dealerships.

Room is a bit old, the AC unit is very noisy that you can’t get a good sleep at night. Hotel soundproof is bad, can hear guests staying above my room walking and worst is baby crying middle of the night. Wifi is weak, can’t get connected sometimes. Lady at the front reception is nice and friendly.

Booked the room by calling their number and the price is 10 more expensive than booking on IHG. The woman who picked up the phone tricked us by saying only calling the number and book directly will get free breakfast which it turned out not the case. She also said we will get the IHG free night but when we checked in they said no free night. She also told us we’ll get a crib and when we arrive to check in the front desk said there’s no note like that and no crib. Really horrible experience since day 1. They told us there’s a separate bedroom which and the fact is it’s not, there’s no door between bedroom and living room. What’s more: our refrigerator was not plugged in and when we called the maintenance guy, he kept saying I don’t know and I don’t know why it has water leaked out. well you are the maintenance not me. Also they open the pool until very late and those kids kept yelling in the pool when is 10 pm and no staff do anything. Would not recommend if you want to have a good and smooth stay. Keep away from this hotel.

This location is very nice but could use fresh paint on the exterior and deep carpet cleaning in the hallways. Room was very clean. Bed is so comfy! ❤️. Front desk were friendly and welcoming. Thank you. You do have to pay for parking. The area not too fond of.

I travel a lot and I've been to many IHG hotels. I am a platinum member. However this hotel is the worst. Poor customer service and staff with attitudes. When they make a mistake instead of owning up to that mistake they try and blame it on you. They're combative and unprofessional. I'd rather drive hours to my final destination from my hotel than ever set foot in this one again.

Rooms are in great shape, they include microwave and refrigerator too which was a pleasant surprise. Free wi-fi, breakfast, and very kind staff! Housekeeping is on point, they are the nicest crew! I recommend this hotel when staying in Pasadena

Holiday Inn express was my destination since 2009, specially when my family is with me for a quick business trip. I always check the restroom, beds and floor corners to make sure that the room service did their job well , Everything was looking good until I found 1 white super dirty socks under the ac unit. It was really disappointing!!!!

Breakfast included no fruits, insufficient attendants unable to help guests in time. Room design very inconvenient, room very narrow, difficult to move around.

The hotel isn't seen from the main road, you have to go inside for a bit to see it. I like how it's nearby the freeway exits though. At the moment of writing there's construction ongoing so parking nearby might be an issue, but they have a parking facility at the back. They charge extra parking for $10/night. Checking in and out is a breeze, ingress points are aplenty. The elevator, hallway and room are all clean. The room smells nice, Aircon doesn't have a stinky smell, bathroom is clean and tidy. Sounds at night aren't that muted so bring earplugs if you're fussy. WiFi is fast, hot breakfast is great.

Looks a bit rough from outside, but inside was ni e. Friendly check in process. There is a walk to sushi restaurant in same parking lot that is amazing. ( one of the best I have been to in area, and very affordable) rooms were standard and pool was out of order when I stayed but looked okay.
