Stayed nearby and easy access to a beautiful beach. Shallow water and warm. Not too busy.

Great beach. Paid parking starts at $2.50 an hour. You can rent chairs with an umbrella for shade. There is no red tide here, just a week that I could see. Bring your family and coolers and make it a day.

Such a gorgeous beach to walk morning or evening! I highly recommend this location as parking is great and the beach lounge chairs are just $8! Splurge on a cabana for $25! Today their are starfish and crabs πŸ¦€ on the beach. πŸ–

What a beautiful beach, amazingly soft white sand, shells up and down the waterline. Clean well kept. Cabanas available for rent. Affordable. Waste deep until the drop at the end of the swim zone. Perfect for a family day. Parking is not the easiest to find recommended getting here early to ensure a spot. All paid at the pay station via debit card no cash here

The Best beach in Tampa, truly! We checked others, it is good but not better. The place is organized, clean, great white sand. It is option to rent a sun cover with couple of sunbed fo $25 unlimited time. The water is pretty clean and very warm. Highly recommend.

Such a beautiful clean beach. The sand is so soft and it is not crowded like many other beaches. Umbrellas and chairs are available on site to rent for the day or week whixh is so convenient and nice to have available. The beach is a little wide but that just makes it more spacious. The shells and the views are incredible. A must see for anyone in the area. Yu won't be disappointed.

Very nice, white sands. Not too crowded while I was there. There is a place near parking on the beach where you can rent chairs/cabana/umbrella. Saw a few people fishing. Check the boards for info.

It was a gorgeous day to be at the beach. It was crowded, but still found me a nice spot bot on top of people to soak in some sun rays and vitamin sea 🌞🌴πŸ₯°

Beautiful public beach, easy access from parking lot, cleaner than Treasure Island Beach. I had 3 hours to myself before my flight left, and I enjoyed every moment sitting on a hastily purchased beach towel, sitting near the water and watching the sea gulls. Also, MUUUUUUCH shorter walk to beach from parking lot. That's a huge plus.

Went here on July 3rd and was surprised it wasn't packed. Very beautiful beach, clean sand. This guy had his parrot on a boogie board. He said he had been bringing her to the beach for 30 years. Parking is $3 per hour, and there is a bathroom for changing. There is an outdoor shower to rinse off before you leave. Great restaurants within walking distance. Across the street at Dockside Dave's, I had a great grouper philly.

There is meter style parking and you can download the app to your phone to pay for parking as well, which allows for you to easily add additional time to your parking right from your phone, so you can stay on the beach without going back up to feed a meter. There is direct and easy beach access from the parking lot. The beach is clean and beautiful and peaceful. The water is blue and amazing. A school of fish swam all around me (about 50 fish right at my feet). There were chairs and umbrellas that you can rent on the beach, but you can bring your own. The water was perfect temperature and not cold. I didnt qont to leave!! Amazing beach! Loved it!!

This beach is very nice πŸ‘Œ. No wonder why this place is so full. The water is awesome! It's more clearer than other beaches. Also the sand is nice to sit in. I took a very nice picture of the sunset. (I put the picture here) Overall I would recommend Madeira Beach.

Absolutely beautiful!! Not as crowded as alot of other beaches in Florida. White sand and clear water. They have nice umbrellas and cabanas for rent for a good daily price. LOTS of shells.

Nestled just behind the parking lot across from CVS, just a short walk or drive is WinneDixie it’s perfect. The water isn’t a far walk away from the parking lot like other access areas. The parking is $3/hr. There is a parking meter you where you pay. They have a little restaurant next to the parking lot. They have a DJ some days. You can sit and look at the beach while you eat. Their fish basket is great and well seasoned. There is a little water station to was your feet off when leaving.

This is a nice beach and is centrally located to many attractions such as restaurants and hotels. If you're traveling and want the full Florida experience of places like Tampa/St. Pete, then this is a good place to come and close to other attractions like St. John's pass. Having read many other reviews on the Madeira Beach, people mentioned white sand, which is puzzling. The sand on this beach has a lot of black aggregate in it. If you want to see white sand beaches, you'll have to head further down the coast line to places like Siesta Key Beach. Hopefully, people won't write reviews just for the sake of being on the top of the review list for views.

First time at the beach I loved it. Was there for my birthday with my dear friend who drove us one hour from Tampa.

My favorite beach! It's beautiful and easy to get to. Parking isn't free but it's easy and not terribly expensive. The sand is soft and you can rent umbrellas and beach chairs. They're kinda expensive, ($30 for 2 chairs and 1 umbrella for the afternoon) but they start to look pretty appealing when the sun is beating down.

Paid for 3 hours of parking, $7.50 but didn't stay very long. Water was chilly but nice, waves were rough today, red seaweed was thick. A storm had went through over night and had the water stirred up and not as clear as usual. Not crowded at 2pm on a Friday afternoon.

This beach is is incredible! One of my favorites. It’s rarely crowded and there are cabanas and chairs for rent if you’d like. Great place to enjoy a sunset and sand sculptures 😍❀️

Area resident since 2010 and this beach is a favorite. Entry to beach at various beach access avenues (including Johns Pass Park). Rarely overcrowded. Busy during season of January through March. Pier access for fishing. You can walk for miles on this beach. Beautiful sunsets and access to John’s Pass Village.

Nice beach. Water felt great! Just too many sea weeds. We went early..8am so it wasn't crowded at all and there's places to eat directly across the street.

Nice family beach with white sand and enough space to stretch out comfortably. Water was murky, but a storm is approaching so could have been why. Beautiful sunsets.

Great beach not crowded. Also has 2 lounge chairs with umbrella for $25 all day or Cabanas rentals. Bring your own food but clean up your trash. Not much on this beach to buy food. Really enjoyed our visit
