I recently visited the Dunedin History Museum with my kids, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The museum is packed with fascinating exhibits and artifacts, showcasing the rich history and heritage of Dunedin. My kids were enthralled with the displays, which made learning about history fun and engaging. The staff at the museum were friendly and knowledgeable, providing us with interesting insights into the exhibits and answering all of our questions. We have spent hours exploring the different galleries and learning about the people and events that shaped Dunedin's past. One of the highlights for me was the beautifully restored train depot, which offers a glimpse into the heyday of train travel in Florida. Overall, I highly recommend the Dunedin History Museum to anyone looking for a fun and educational day out with their kids. It's a wonderful way to learn about local history and culture, and the interactive exhibits are sure to captivate visitors of all ages. Don't miss out on this gem of a museum!

Great place to visit in downtown Dunedin. Fun lots of history I would recommend spending some time here. Lots of history here. You can spend a minute or an hour. Plenty of stuff to here to see. Also, it not too big and overwhelming. Wow way to go dDunedin.

If you want to immerse in the rich history of Dunedin, make sure you’ll head over to the Dunedin Museum. It’s a destination where history comes alive at 349 Main Street. The museum boasts a collection of up to 2,000 artifacts, 2,500 photographs, and a library containing 200 volumes of local and Florida history.

A small but interesting museum on local history. There was a man performing music outside loud enough to hear inside.

I only visited the gift shop which is free to enter and browse and shop. A very lovely gift shop with all kinds of fun things, especially now for Christmas. I was inspired to paint the museum in watercolor. If you are interested in prints please inquire at the gift shop.

I didn't get to see all of it, but what I did see was great. There are life sized statues in front of the museum that are fun to pose with and take pictures.

Take it from someone born here 60 years ago, this museum is great. I grew up in Dunedin and while some of the stories and items there are before my time, there are a lot of my memories represented. It was a nice walk down memory lane.

Unfortunately, the museum is temporarily closed so we were unable to visit. Set to reopen in the fall, so hopefully, we can stop by on our next trip.

I only visited the gift shop portion, I didn't walk through the museum. However the people there were very friendly and the gift shop had quite the variety of neat stuff! I did end up making a purchase and would definitely go back if given the opportunity.

As a former docent and research assistant of Dunedin Historical Museum DHM, I've yet to visit the remodel of the site. However that doesn't stop me from recommending the Museum to one and all. Vinnie Luisi has worker tirelessly for decades to establish credentials as affiliated with The Smithsonian. Sincerely, Roseann Merriam, former docent

A must visit in Dunedin to experience the natural history of Pinellas County. Surrounded by great shopping and street markets on Saturday.

It was a nice little museum sharing some history of the small town of Dunedin. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable to answer questions. I enjoyed learning things about the community that my son and daughter-in-law recently moved to.
