Clam Bayou is a body of water with parks on both sides. On the Gulfport side it’s next to the marina. There aren’t bathrooms but there is water and a kayak drop. A nice trail to walk. On the other side of clam bayou there is another park with bathrooms and docks and boardwalks. You have to drive to the other side or kayak.

Great little spot, tucked away and off the main roads. Set on the end of a jaunt of land just east of Gulfport. Quite little area with a long history, in the 1990s it underwent a overhaul and restoration that restored it to a little gem of old Florida. It has board walks over the water and through mangroves, a gazebo set between paths that had a lovely breeze running through (where we had our lunch) There is a ramp for launching kayaks, areas for fishing and cleaning stations. Good amounts of the area are tree covered providing needed shade for this time in June from the heat. We saw plenty of birds and wildlife, great vistas out to the water. Next to a marina close to Gulfport and plenty of parking along the road this is a quite and calm area, the perfect tranquil spot to sit and listen to the breeze and birds.

Great place for a shady hike, bird watching, and fishing! Saw parakeets, osprey, blue and grey herons, wood ibis, and pelicans! Didn't get a chance to kayak here but heard it's a nice kayak spot as well

I stopped by for a quick walk and really enjoyed the boardwalks and vistas of the water. It felt safe. People were fishing and we saw wildlife. There are some ground wasps in one area, so be aware of that. It's a good place to launch a kayak.

Very small very pretty park with lots of boardwalks along the water. Start to finish if you're just there to sightsee maybe 15 minutes. Beautiful fishing spots if that's what you're into.

Cute area to walk. Dogs must be leashed. Boardwalks, gravel trail, kayak launch, bird watching, picnic area, and benches to sit and take in the beauty. When you are done take a stroll through the neighborhood and admire the eclectic homes in the area.

A little slice of paradise tucked into the corner of Gulfport. I love stopping by this park mornings, noon and evenings. A great place to see brown and gray pelicans and quite often dolphins. It seems to be a very popular place for a morning or evening stroll with your dog too! 🙂

This park is a nice and beautiful park. Walking this park will make you think that you are walking through a forest. A lot of animals and critters when you through this park. A lot of mangrove and oysters. There is a good fishing spot if you want to fish. Beautiful view and beautiful park.

One of Gulfport's hidden gems. This is a good place to escape the sound pollution of the roads and people and is only 5 minutes away from the waterfront district. Plenty of shade for a hot day too!!

Is such a nice place to visit if you want to escape the city for a bit. You can kayak and fish, ride the trail, and go birding. There were quite few different birds! It's a good habitat for the area and would love to see more projects like this happen across the county!

Small Park, nice little walks and outlooks, plenty of sealife to look at. Plenty of parking, can be done in like 20-30 minutes though.

Nice little park on Boca Ciega Bay in the middle of a Southside St. Pete neighnorhood. Great view across the Bay to St. Pete Beach, nice little trail and some scenic coves to kayak in.

Not very much to see visually as most is overgrown. Couple short boardwalks, there's a kayak launch and small fishing deck. Lots of garbage around and shady people throughout the park. Biking trail goes through it.

Great nature park for walking and biking. The trails and sidewalks are well kept. There are nice bridges over the water too The grounds are beautiful and well taken care of. You'll see the wildlife and get some sun and shade. A really nice local spot.
