The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. Quiet and peaceful location. The pool was amazing! Friendly and welcoming staff. Great location with several good spots to eat at. One corner of the shower leaked water from the side. Other than that, I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

My husband and I stayed here when we were traveling from a Canada to LA. The staff were very friendly. The rooms were very clean- the carpets could use a good deep cleaning. The entrance is beautiful. Parking you have to pay extra per night, the parking fills up quickly when we would be gone sight seeing all day and come back 11pm or later there would be 1 spot all the way at the end. We avoided parking in the underground after reading reviews about theft. We had no issues parking above ground. The pool is great and the hot tub is nice. Great view to look at from the hallway of your room. Overall great place to stay at clean and friendly close enough to all the sight seeing locations in LA without having to stay at a sketchy downdown location with homeless people. If you’re traveling with kids or a family would also be a great location. Close to a Costco and great bubble tea as well! The safe in our room wasn’t working twice so we called the front desk and the 2 maintenance individuals who came were incredibly helpful and quick and really kind we felt safe with them coming into the room and were not worried about locking items in the safe or room. They were quick to fix it and no hassle at all!

The hotel was nice but there is an underground garage and I DO NOT RECOMMEND PARKING IN THERE. The front desk recommended that I park in the garage to be out of the sun, near the hotel elevators, and it would be safer. Well, parked my car on the 1st level and overnight it was stolen. I have a feeling this happens often as the staff didn’t seem too surprised. The police were called and they told me they’ve had criminal activity happen down there before. It has been nearly 48 hours and supposedly hotel staff was going to review the security footage…though I have yet to hear anything from them. No one has reached out. I know the hotel can’t be held responsible but it certainly would be nice if someone would reach out and let me know if they saw anything on the footage. Anyways…DON’T park your car in the garage! You’d think the hotel…knowing they have criminal activity would at least invest in a gate for the garage. As it is anyone can drive in or out of there.

I've stayed at this hotel several times in the past 2 years and had great stays. My favorite things are the jetted tubs in the suites, oversized towels and soft but not too soft beds. Definitely worth the upgrade. The staff is also very friendly. The parking is convenient and ample. There's great food and shopping nearby. Will continue to stay here in the future.

I travel quite frequently and I've stayed at many Hilton properties all over the United States, and I can say with the utmost confidence that this is one of their best run properties. Everything is always spotless, the bedding is done perfectly (no short sheeting), and the staff is always friendly and helpful. I don't know how old this hotel is, but it is kept up so well that it seems brand new. Among several stays here, I've only ever had one small issue and it was handled quickly and properly. The manager is a consummate professional of the highest degree. I was having some complications using the Hilton App on my phone and Hilton customer service had no idea how to fix it, this Gentleman explained to me how to fix it in literally less than 1 minute. I've had breakfast at the on-site cafe and it's just perfect for what it is. You can get something quickly in the morning without having to somewhere to eat. The neighboring area is overall very clean and you don't see bums in the streets like you do in many other cities these days. These are signs of people who care and take pride in their community. I have had my car burglarized at other Hilton properties, but I don't worry about safety or security when I'm here. I've never seen any indication of problems during my visits. I will continue to stay here multiple times per year in the future and I hope that it never changes.

During my two stays at this hotel, I found the location to be incredibly convenient. The hotel is situated in a walkable area with plenty of restaurants and shops in close proximity, making it easy to explore the surroundings. Additionally, the parking situation was very straightforward and easy to navigate, which was a big relief. I was impressed with the helpfulness of the staff, who were always available to answer any questions I had or provide recommendations. As for the rooms, I found them to be very clean and well-maintained. Overall, my experience at this hotel was excellent and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient stay.

Absolutely fantastic staff who were all very kind, helpful and attentive. The hotel is older, but our rooms were very clean with spacious bathrooms, good hot water and crispy cold A/C. Parking above ground and underground. Underground parking is a little tight but doable. The hotel is smack in the middle of a bustling Asian district with plenty of food options literally nextdoor, and a huge shopping market across the street. The Trinity restaurant downstairs was delicious and the servers, especially Paul, were sweet, funny and made the entire stay flawless! Absolutely will be staying here every visit!

Very good, except the restaurants require you to pay a 20% tip. They call it a service charge for the employees. I walked out as soon as I saw that. There are other excellent choices nearby. But the hotel is great, clean and friendly employees. Easy to get to and excellent parking.

Hotel seems a little older. Room had a faint damp odor on arrival. Bathroom seemed too dimly lit. Otherwise, it's pretty good. Room was clean. Beds were very comfy. Location was good. Easy available parking in underground garage. Tons of yummy looking Asian restaurants within walking distance.

Initially, we thought the hotel was located in an unexpected area. Truthfully, we weren’t sure if the area was good or bad, but it was actually perfect as it was near several shops, restaurants and freeway. Immediately, we liked the hotel; from the drive in, the stress free parking, the clean open lobby and easy check in. As Hilton Honors members, we also received extra bottles of water, slippers and a snack. Additionally we were provided a list of nearby restaurants, bakeries, convenience stores and attractions. The list was extremely helpful. We did notice that the hotel mostly had Asian patrons. Not that this really mattered, but it fondly reminded me of Hong Kong. All hotel staff were outstanding. They were warm and inviting. They made friendly and genuine conversations. It made our stay feel more like home. Hands down, the best hotel staff I’ve ever had the pleasure to encounter. Our room was a premium room on the 3rd floor. It was spacious and immaculate. Not entirely sure what made the room premium, but we had no complaints. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of pillows. There were also extra bottles of water in the room, free of charge. The coffee provided was Coffee Bean brand which we appreciated. The pool, jacuzzi and gym were on the 2nd floor. The pool was heated and it wasn’t busy. Pool toys and towels were provided. Aside from one rude guest who allowed their child to keep slamming the door at 1am (courtesy people, courtesy), our stay was pleasant, quiet and relaxing. We paid approximately $402 for 2 nights. Hotel does charge $10 for parking per day. Next time I’m the area, I would chose to stay at this Hilton again.

3-7-23 My buddy and I were on a road trip to Los Angeles and we decided to stay at this hotel. Great location with plenty of restaurants choice around. The inside lobby looks very grand. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived but was given another room right away. We are on the second floor and I like that you have to use your card to enter a door to get to your rooms, which makes it feel extra secure. Beds and Pillows were great. Pool area was nice as it has an open roof. Will stay her again if I'm in the area.

In 2019 there was a great breakfast buffet that was the reason I came back in 2023. Now there is only a bagel with spread, coffee and an orange juice. As a Diamond Member I never had to pay anything extra. Now you are still required to pay a service charge and an additional charge for an omelet. I'd rather go to Denny's for breakfast. I find it sad because I spend 60,000 USD every year just on Hilton hotels and get nothing more Lifetime Diamond. The hotel is nice and the staff is very friendly. The update to the junior suite was great as well. However, I will go back to Hyatt in the future where I get a complimentary American Breakfast. B.L

Arrived very late and check-in in a room that is pretty muddy and smelled of wet dogs. However, the night shift front desk is very kind and nice. He instantly changed my room, and most importantly, he inquired about housekeeping to see if the room is ready and double-checked the room with no problem. The housekeeping also directs us to the new room and ascertains that we feel satisfied with this room so he just leave. The room is nice and comforts me. I appreciate their best service perspective. Even though I was pretty tired last night, the sweet and best customer assistance make me feel warm and appreciate it.

This was not a great experience for me. While I would have lived to give a great review, I just can't. I hope the management can take this as a learning experience. The Hotel itself needs a bit of outside updating . The room was clean and decent. But the bathroom was horrendous 😫. I mean Motel He'll Quality. The manager did give Me a discount the next day. He was very nice and receptive of my concerns. But Hilton you have to do better. Just put on a new door and clean the bathroom

I had a fantastic stay at the Hilton hotel. The front desk clerk was not only welcoming but also accommodating, allowing me to check in early, which was a great convenience. The room was clean and comfortable, and the overall service was outstanding. I left with a deep appreciation for the quality of service and look forward to returning in the future. Thank you, Hilton, for a wonderful experience.

Great and friendly service. The internet speed is fantastic compared to their competitor down the street - it's reliable and fast. Parking was ample - just wish the Hilton Status area was covered or had sections near the elevator. The garage parking could use better markings but it's not their fault. Rooms were clean and spacious.

This is the second time stay here. The first time was wonderful everything was great. But this time when I was check-in, I told the front desk staff I have a car need to park here at the hotel, but she never gave me the parking ticket. I was glad my car wasn't towed away, but had a notice said I needed a permit. Into the room there was no hot water to shower. Called and was told the hot water system was down. OK. Waited till 1am, finally there was hot water, I found out there was no body wash, instead there were two shampoos...... Will never come back again

This place was awesome. The hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is awesome and the staff make that place. It is truly a great place to stay and dine. If you're looking for a hotel in the L.A. area. This is the place. I wouldn't pay attention to the other negative reviews.

The room was not made up my last day at the hotel and they would not refund two days despite my having to leave earlier than expected due to health concerns. Said I had booked through a booking company that I thought was the hotel! Drain ion the bathtub did not seal properly so could not bathe. The staff was very courteous and the restaurant excellent. Parking will cost you extra although there is plenty of room and probably no real need to charge patrons paying $200 per day for a room . Very pricy for a hotel on Valley Boulevard.

In the city of San Gabriel, there are now two above average big name hotel brands catering to Chinese/Asian Americans: the newer Sheraton and the older Hilton. We have stayed in both--numerous times over the past decade in the Hilton and most recently in the newer Sheraton. Honestly, they are substantially equivalent--from the Chinese/ Asian vibe, to the quality and size of the rooms, the prices, and even the cramped but available underground parking garage. Sure the Sheraton is newer, sure, but its newness doesn't really bestow any advantages. This Hilton has the better pool because it's indoor, if that matters to you. So my advice would be to just go by the price or whatever you have hotel points with.

My room was uncomfortably humid and would not cool below 72 degrees despite the thermostat being set lower. Bed was comfortable, and daily housekeeping is standard. Staff was polite and friendly. In a seemingly safe neighborhood.

Top 5 best hospitality experiences at a Hilton property. The staff was amazing. Angela was kind and accommodating for a room upgrade and checkout time. Diamond status does help, sometimes , but often it is not even mentioned. It was recognized here. I choose Hilton for a reason and this experience was proof of why I am extremely loyal to the brand. Thank you San Gabriel. I will be back. Also thank you for the cold water for my drive. - Jonathan

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton Los Angeles San Gabriel, and overall, I had a great experience. The hotel is conveniently located and easy to find, which was a big plus for me. The lobby and common areas are spacious, well-maintained, and welcoming. My room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The bed was especially comfortable, and I slept well each night of my stay. The bathroom was also clean and well-equipped, with plenty of towels and toiletries. One thing that really stood out to me was the excellent customer service. The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive to my needs throughout my stay. They were always available to answer any questions I had and went out of their way to make sure I had a great stay. The hotel amenities were also impressive. The hotel restaurant was also a great option for a delicious meal or a quick snack.

This stylish hotel is conveniently located less than 1 mile from Interstate 10, providing easy access to transportation. It is situated 10 miles away from downtown Los Angeles and 11.8 miles from the popular sports and concert venue, Staples Center. The rooms and suites feature a contemporary design, offering amenities such as Wi-Fi (available for a fee), flat-screen TVs, desks, mini-fridges, and coffeemakers. For added luxury, the suites include separate sitting areas and Jacuzzi tubs in some cases, along with the option of having separate bedrooms. Guests can enjoy various facilities within the hotel, including an Asian fusion restaurant for dining, a rooftop terrace with a fountain for relaxation, an indoor pool for a refreshing swim, and a fitness area for workouts. The hotel also provides 10 function rooms, including a ballroom, for hosting events or meetings. Parking and breakfast are available for an additional fee. Based on my positive experience, it's clear that this hotel is my preferred choice whenever I visit Los Angeles.

Love this hotel. Fancy and spacious lobby. A clean and big room, quite fancy compare to other Hilton's type of hotel. Parking is a bit challenging tho at night, if you need to eat out, just walk around, you'll find so many options esp. the delicious Asian food. The best food in the world!

Absolutely loved staying here, and will stay here again when in LA. Was only about 20-30 minutes from downtown, but easily accessible. The staff and service here was incredible. Even after 1 day, we were recognized by staff. Amenities are good. Rooms were updated and clean, very relaxing.

Very nice hotel with restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Prices are reasonable and staff is friendly. The food in the restaurant has never disappointed. Just know the tip is added to the bill automatically so pay attention.

Staff at this hotel were excellent! Very friendly and attentive service. Rooms were clean and well kept, although showing it’s age. Would happily return again as this hotel has so many convenient restaurants and stores on the same block and across the street.

Beautiful, squeaky clean and spacious hotel! The staff are all super friendly and welcoming. I felt right at home. Food is excellent. I got the half pound burger lunch special and it was awesome. Look no further if you will be visiting the San Gabriel Los Angeles area.
