This small park is a wonder. Next to Gulfport beach and full of wildlife. Ibis, Spoonbills, Alligators, Turtles and Ducks all.make the small lake of the park their home.

Wood Ibis Park is a beautiful place to take a short walk. The pond with its fountains provides picturesque views and the perfect place for the Wood Ibis to take advantage of the water and nourishment.

Cool park, circular trail, allows dogs, cute pavillions and water, variety of birds: they seemed to all get along in harmony, and even saw a snake. Cold water fountain. No public restroom. Not alot of shade. Trails are shell/sand. Ideal place to come and relax, eat your lunch, do homework! 🙂

Had a wonderful tranquil experience at Wood Ibis Park in Gulfport. It's a very small park which we liked since there were not many people. Lots of wild birds here. SO MANY turtles in the pond too! They were fun to watch. I recommend you stop by if you're in the area.

Great place to relax. Loaded with wildlife that isn't afraid of you.saw many ibis's, turtles galore, including a couple of large softshells, a spoonbill, and squirrels. Few people and a quarter mile shell path around the pond. Plenty of shade and benches for a warm day.

It's a nice park. Plenty of parking and places to sit and enjoy the scenery. The park is well maintained. There was even some poopie bags for your dogs. The crushed shell path is also well maintained. However, I found that it's a little difficult to walk.

The park is appropriately named as there are plenty of wood ibis enjoying the fountains on the lakes as the butterflies flit through the flowers. The short little loop is off the beaten path of Gulfport. As most locals know, this is a great place to walk your dog, but you aren't going to have a picnic here. #AmbassadorBarb #GulfportAmbassador

Small park with a path around a small pond and several benches nicely situated. Limited parking, no facilities but there's a convenience store and a cafe across the street. With the name, I expected to see more birds. Also, the fountain was not running when I visited.

Nice quiet park. Good for doing laps as they are marked per mile.

Such a sweet little park with so many birds. Nice swing and little fountain. Not a big park, no bathrooms. But very close to Gulfport beach with bathrooms and picnic area.

Small park. Definitely lives up to the name Ibis.... as soon as we parked the birds were there to welcome us. Great place to get some walking in. Needs a little better upkeep with trash/ashtrays but otherwise ok. 2 water fountains, a few gazebos and tables.

Love this park. The party is well maintained, there are many seating areas and the wildlife are very enjoyable to watch. I used the QR code to access the wildlife chart on the website and made a game of trying to find as many as I could.

This one of my favorite places to come and enjoy the birds. They definitely don't call it Wood Ibis Park for nothing! Awesome views and plenty of shade on a hot summer day

A well cared for, beautiful park. Great to meet and chat with residents and visitors walking their dogs. If you pause to look out at the lake, you’ll see all the turtle heads popping up! Many different birds. Our wild parrots are loud. While they’re around all day, you’ll especially find them around 6pm. As you walk past the homes, look to their backyard bird-feeders. You’ll be sure to spot them there.
