This is one of the best Sheraton properties, I have ever stayed at. The staff goes above and beyond and epitomizes professionalism. I was warmly received as a frequent Marriott traveler and given a wonderful upgrade to a one bedroom corner suite. The executive lounge is open and serves a great breakfast, while snacks, drinks and coffee are available at your leisure. This hotel was incredibly clean and quiet. Parking was easy and reasonably priced. Plus, the gym was huge and had great equipment. I have had a few bad experiences at hotels in LA recently, but this one more than exceeded my expectations and I will be staying here in the future. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Beautiful modern, clean and classy hotel. Great room, decor and bathroom. Immaculate throughout the hotel. Nice lobby. Location ok. Only gripe was that they stop serving food after 10:30pm. Menu is very limited to Asian food only. Not even any room service after this time! Needs sorting. Overall great hotel. Nicest Sheraton we’ve stayed in by a long way!

The accommodations were superb. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. There really isn't much in the way of non-Asian restaurants in a walkable distance. The lounge was a complete disappointment. Really only open for breakfast, which was the same each of the five days I was there (except for the type of sausage available). There was sliced fruit available (tasty), but was not restocked in a timely fashion. The "snacks" made available to guests were virtually nonexistent. They are filled once and once they are gone they are gone, even though the lounge remains open. Several times during my stay, the drinks ran out and were not refilled until the next day. It seems as though the people tasked with stocking and maintaining the lounge did a horrible job!

The hotel is about a 10 minute drive from the Huntington library. The room was very comfortable and clean. Nice bar in the lobby, served a very good Manhattan. Breakfast was fantastic, delivered to our room promptly in the morning by a very courteous and professional waiter. All in all in nice experience.

what an unexpected gem in the middle of a very low-key neighborhood! not what you would expect from this residential neighborhood - the extraordinarily clean and high-end property for it's surroundings. it's a welcome place to spend a few nights in this LA suburban neighborhood - at surprisingly reasonable rates for its proximity to everything in the Southland!

Please take care of the housekeeping in the hotel, there is a thief in the middle!!! I will report this to Marriott head office. The hotel needs a thorough investigation. On July 10th, I lost $230 from my bag(inside pocket) in Sheraton hotel San Gabriel(room 219), despite having placed the "Do Not Disturb" sign on my door, indicating that I did not require housekeeping services. I was out all day, which meant that no one should be allowed in my room. When I found out my money was missing is day after, I had already entered LAX Airport. I would like to bring this incident to your attention and request a thorough investigation into the matter.

After setting up my room to be booked through price line the down hill spiral started. I was originally promised to be able to check in after my flight that was coming in late. when I checked my reservation when I landed an error occurred on their appointment site an booked me for a 3pm check in the next day. So I contacted their support staff which I was told that it wasn’t their fault an I would still be charged an couldn’t change anything. I then drove to the hotel after speaking to the front desk about checking in that night which they said was possible. On arrival I was told I could check in they just needed my card to check me in so without telling me I was going to be charged again my card was charged for the room again after I just paid, this lead to a 500 dollar bill that I couldn’t be refunded for. I ended up leaving the hotel and having to sleep in my rental car from the amount of stress the environment put on my heart. I will never do business with this hotel again.

    1. Excellent hotel when coming to LA! 2. The Staff throughout the hotel are professionals and kind! 3. The front desk folks are truly the reason why I am returning! Great services I average 270 nights per year globally with Marriott properties for the last 25 years only Jim

Hands down One of the absolute nicest Sheratons in California! This hotel is literally perfect in so many ways. They have a heated pool, an amazing fitness center & they even have a spa! They have free printing in the lobby, along with robots that bring your luggage to your room for you😂😍 Mind = Blown! The rooms are EXTREMELY luxurious, VERY comfortable and literally SPOTLESS! Don’t get me started on how comfortable the bed is and how amazing the pillows are! This hotel truly feels like it is up to the Ritz Carlton standards, without the Ritz Carlton price. The breakfast at the executive lounge is VERY nice and better than most Marriott properties. 100% I will be back without hesitation.

I had the pleasure of staying at Sheraton Los Angeles San Gabriel not once, but twice last year, and I must say, it continues to impress. The value for the price is outstanding, making it a great choice for budget-conscious travelers. Being a Chinese food lover, the hotel's location is incredibly convenient with its proximity to authentic restaurants. The service provided was consistently excellent, with friendly staff always going the extra mile. The rooms were spacious and clean, ensuring a comfortable stay each time. Additionally, the availability of good parking options made it even more convenient. Having experienced Sheraton Los Angeles San Gabriel on multiple occasions, I can confidently recommend it for its reliable quality, convenient location for Chinese cuisine, great service, and comfortable rooms. It's definitely a hotel I would return to without hesitation.

Pretty decent stay. The room was nice and clean. Wasn’t as fancy as I thought it’d be considering it is a Sheraton but the service was excellent

So I’ve been here 2 times. First time to see Abraham hicks speak at their beaut hall which I had a great experience. 2nd time to help run an event for my martial organization so now I was kinda part of the hotel. I was entry man for our event where I checked people to see if they have wrist bands and Alex Viyar who is the assistant general manager was working next to me validating parking for the martial arts guest. I didn’t realize it but the staff here at this place is amazing. They are so friendly and easy going. Alex was in there helping me out with the guest and he had such an upbeat attitude. Great guy. Got to meet more of the staff and interacted with the young tall Asian lady and she was so cool and laid back as well as the other Hispanic gentleman. I didn’t get their names. They let us basically run the event our way and didn’t intervene and offered full help. This place is what it represents. A high end 5 star hotel with beautiful luxuries hall and rooms. Staff is constantly working too keep the restrooms clean and they do a fine job. Definitely recommend this place for events and to stay. It’s east of LA metro area and is less cluttered than a hotel in downtown LA.

Our stay was great, the service was great, the bed was comfortable and the room was quiet making our stay very comfortable. Parking was easy making our coming and going a breeze. The bar tenders were great as were the drinks. I recommend having the Old Fashion.

Great area of Los Angeles…very safe and clean.. Gorgeous hotel with comfortable beds and wonderful food on property. Starbucks served in the rooms and a full service Starbucks on property as well.. Be sure and visit Hawaiian Supermarket a block away… So conveniently located to all things to do in Los Angeles and in between both major airports.. Be sure to ask Jorge to make you his special old fashioned!! Quite the treat to share after a long day of taking in the beauty of Los Angeles!!

Stayed for two nights for a business trip, first time at this Sheraton. Very nice area, walking distance to Hawaiin Market and shops- Starbucks on site and offered in rooms. Clean, quiet, and great room services and onsite dining. Staff are really top notch. Very professional, amiable and made the stay extra special. Luis at front desk very helpful and day I checked out, when Lyft never showed up!, Monica got me a cab Sheraton often uses- great driver who got me to airport on time - no missed flight. Definitely will return in future.

We stayed for Breeders cup weekend and what an amazing experience we had. Parking was easy, the hotel was very clean and elegant. The staff was amazing! Especially our host “Galinda” highly recommended and only 10 min away from Santa Anita

  • 5/5 Nancy R. 5 months ago on Google
Galinda made our Sheraton stay 5 star. She was sweet, kind and polite. The lounge on the 6th floor was a zero. Refrigerator was empty and the only food that was offered was crumbs on the bottom of 2 glass jars. Love the dog walking park on the second floor. Israel was another exemplary and sweet individual.

Service was helpful. Decor is what you would expect from a Sheraton , very nice. Had a large group for the breakfast buffet, food/coffee and the one person service did not seem ready for a large group. They seem to have a lot of events. Interior 2nd floor patio with outdoor space and pool, and gym on same floor.

I stayed here on a business trip in September 2023. Such a beautiful hotel with fantastic service and amenities. There is a loading/unloading/check in area on the south side of the building that features a fountain in the middle. I did not have a vehicle but it appears there is underground parking available. There is a restaurant and lobby bar right off the lobby area. Meeting space located on the left side past the registration desk. There is also a Starbucks conveniently located in the front of the hotel (can walk to it from the inside). The Sheraton Lounge is a wonderful amenity if you have access. Pretty decent view. Can see the mountains off in the distance. :)

I can't use all the drink machines from the second floor to the sixth floor, whether it's bank cards or cash. I then tried to use the piano for 3 minutes, then the security guard showed up and said I couldn't use the public piano,…Very poor stay experience!!!!!! I mean I just wanted to drink some soda, but I didn't expect so much to happen!!!! 1 stars!!!!!

New, clean, beautiful property. Rooms are small but well appointed with enough storage for a few nights. Rooms face the courtyard, the street, and the mountains, so specify if view is important to you. The 6th floor lounge is nice, though the breakfast offering was limited, nothing special, and not even as good as most low end hotels that offer free breakfast . Asian Desserts at the lobby bar were delicious. There is a nice outdoor area in the courtyard with a pool but there is no hot tub. Staff members, when you come across them, are friendly, but there really is no service to speak of; no concierge, no valet, no casual restaurant. There is no auto checkout, so keep that in mind in case you are in a rush to get to your next stop. PS If you love Asian food, you will be in Asian food heaven as this hotel is within walking distance of many Asian restaurants. We loved Beijing Spicy House across the street and Motto Tea Cafe a few blocks away. We loved staying here and will certainly return on our next trip to San Gabriel.

I travelled to LA from Guam. It’s a long flight and I arrived at the hotel early. The front desk staff were so kind to offer me a “super” early check-in so that I was able to get some great rest, cope with time difference, and perfectly get ready for a meeting the next day. The room was typically American-style big. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was good, too. It’s a wonderful experience.

Beautiful and wonderful hotel with excellent staff. Everyone is friendly and professional. Beautiful view of the mountains over the hotel. Only wish they had some basic room service items like a burger and fries. Other than that it’s perfect!

I am impressed by the cleanliness of such a big hotel. The parking is underneath the hotel itself and there is security at the entrance to the hotel, which made me feel more secure. I love that it has a great restaurant attached to it and a Starbucks as well for coffee lovers. Every employee I encountered was very nice and Jorge, the bartender, made our experience even better. If you want great drinks go to him at the bar in the lobby.

Probably the best hotel I’ve stayed at in a while, and it was only a 1 night stay. What matters the most to me is cleanliness in a hotel room, and Sheraton San Gabriel did not disappoint. Room was spacious, comfy bed and pillows, and lots of little details that made the experience extra special. Everyone was very kind as well from check in to check out. If you need a hotel in LA this is a great one! We won’t hesitate to stay here again next time we’re in the area.

This is our favorite place to stay when we come to SoCal. The experience begins as you walk into the lobby and you are greeted with a wonderful scent, the staff is friendly and attentive and try their best to accommodate our requests. We always have a good experience when we are here and they have some of the best pillows! There are a few things I wish they would add that would make this place a 10 for me. I wish they had microwaves in the rooms (at least the suites) or at the very least in the club lounge so I wouldn't have to go ALL the way to the lobby yo warm up my food. Another thing I would like to see are some veggie protein or turkey/chicken options in the club lounge for breakfast as everyone doesn't eat pork and beef. And lastly I think their should be TVs in the bathrooms that have tubs so guests can enjoy a movie or show while relaxing in the tub. All in all it is a great place to stay the staff does a good job of keeping the property clean and the staff is helpful and friendly whether it be the housekeepers, the lounge/bar staff, bell hops or front desk staff. As Ambassador Elite members they do a good job of making you feel valued and have a gift at the dest or even brought to the room during our stay and that is a wonderful touch 🙂

My friends and I were invited to a fundraiser banquet at the Sheraton San Gabriel location. The hotel was recently finished and everything inside is new and well maintained As far as the service, some staffs were not all there. During the banquet, we asked for apple cider since several guests at the table did not drink alcohol. We had to repeatedly ask several times from different servers and the response was always just "ok", but they went on doing something else. We finally got our apple cider after 30 minutes of asking. Another guest asked for hot water with lemon slices. The server came back with hot water only and told the guest lemon was not available. The guest told the server how can a big hotel did not have lemon, go get some at the bar or bring the manager. The server left with irritated face. Finally, the server can back with lemon slices after 10 min. Another thing was the servers would take the unfinished plate away without asking if the guest was done eating. My dessert plate was removed when I went to restroom. I did not get to finish the cake. Overall, the staff were not enthusiastic about working there. They should smile more and a little more training on etiquette is needed.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this Sheraton! The facility is very clean and well-appointed. The room was spacious and clean, as was the gym. I also enjoyed the dining options and the 6th floor lounge. I'll definitely return to this hotel when I need to visit the area in the future!

  • 4/5 Anthony S. 1 year ago on Google
The hotel is very clean and is decorated nice. There are multiple restaurants here including the concierge lounge if you have Marriott status. The gym also seems pretty decent. The only negative is that they're aren't many food type options in the area and didn't appear to be much to see in the area.

Everytime my family and I stay in LA for a family function this is the perfect hotel!! Everyone that works there gives great service and very attentive to all your needs. Ivan who works at front desk is my favorite! He makes us feel like we are back home in Hawaii with his excellent customer service feeling so much Aloha!! We had to ask if he was an island boy & he said he has poly friends so he understands our culture!! Marriott/Sheraton needs to recognize employees like Ivan that go above & beyond to make you feel welcome ! Love the entire front desk staff, always courteous & helpful. The staff also from room service are quick & prompt and food they serve is delicious!! Appreciate the Housekeeping staff always quick to respond for extra supplies!! Great job to the management that runs this beautiful hotel!! Yes the rooms are beautiful and beds are beyond comfortable!’ Our family is looking forward to another visit to this hidden gem!!

This hotel is gorgeous! The showers are very relaxing, the bed and pillows are comfy, the ballroom is great for weddings, and the courtyard and pool are a nice plus. The front desk was very friendly. It is expensive but worth the price, I loved visiting, all of the nearby food definitely adds to the overall experience! However-The Chinese food served at the hotel is amazing! There is a Starbucks in the hotel which is very convenient since tap water is not very good and there are several grocery stores nearby. I wish this hotel had a hot tub or sauna, we didn’t realize by spa they meant something else entirely, which we always look for in a pool but that is the only thing I was missing!
