Incredible day on the water kayaking. The water lettuce was so pretty to see. We didn’t see any alligators 🐊 but heard others on the water say they saw 4-5.

For the Tampa/St Petersburg/Clearwater area, this was one of the best walking parks we visited. In our search to see alligators in the wild, we visited 4-5 other state/county/city parks. Not only was this the only one we saw Gators at, we saw two. This was also the most beautiful of all the parks we visited. I would definitely go back.

It is a nice to visit if want a scenic place to walk or jog. There are canoe and kayak rentals. The park family friendly and an ideal place for children to experience nature.

This is a very small park and it's currently torn apart in places but I never see work being conducted on it, so it may be a forgotten project. There is new playground equipment with astroturf that looks nice. I hope it's cleaned up soon before the summer when kids will be here. Beautiful view over Blossom Lake. Resident ducks and sea birds. Not a big place, and the trail is limited (and closed off at the moment, as stated previously). I think it's nice for being so small, though it is immediately next to an eye sore junk yard with nothing covering it, so we'll see if or when these projects are completed. I'm hoping for improvements with a reasonable turnaround. Also, THE Pinellas Trail runs through the back of this park.

It’s a beautiful park with gorgeous view of the hillsborough river and nature from the board walk . there are couple of shelters , biking trials , child play area , lawn, many parking spots , kayak launch pad and 2 volley ball court . You can see lot of birds and alligators around the board walk . The view from the tower is amazing. The entry fee per car is $2 . The park is well maintained and the rangers are very friendly

Awesome park. Note there is an entry fee of 2 bucks per car. No biggie. But this park has an awesome bike trail. You can rent canoe's to use on the rivers within the park. There is a nature boardwalk that spans a good amount of the park in which you can see lots of work life out there.. be cautious of spider webs and bees tho. And lastly there is a small information museum/kiosk that has maps of the area/park and the wild life and foliage the resides in the area! Well worth a visit by yourself or with your family or friendsπŸ˜β€ΌοΈ

Nice park for hiking, biking, picnics. Long boardwalks and trails to walk. Really cool 3 or 4 story wood platform overlooking the river. Canoe and kayak launches. Really large open area for picnics. When we were there several huge groups birthday partiers and family reunions were eating and playing. Several hundred people. There was still room for twice as many people and it still been comfortable without being on top of each other.

Staple Park that has maintained its upkeep and quality for many years, been coming here for a long time. A vast variety of things todo. Board walk is a great feature and plenty of picnic areas spread out over the park. Ill keep coming back.

Since the bathrooms went in this place has become a hangout for less desirables. We knew this would happen and fought against the bathrooms but the city did it anyway. Don't go after dark. Lots of homeless and beggars. During the day its a very nice park.

What a quaint park, set with a new playground and turf and lake across the way. City workers were busy laying new electric lines for a project renovation there, so I'm hopeful next time we go there will be public restrooms available. The park looks small at first glance, but it spreads back and has baby swings, safety swings for ages 5-12, teeter-totter hammock swing, zip line, rolling bar slide, sidewinder slide, jumping suspension bridge, climbing dome, spinning seats and posts, and much more. We spent over 3 hours exploring and playing and only had to leave because there are no restrooms currently available (May 2022).

We've been going here for decades now, ever since college at USF, and we love it! It's one of the best places in the area to go for walks, bike rides, etc. The boardwalk and observation tower are especially nice ways to enjoy nature.

Nice park with basketball and tennis courts, baseball field and playground. The playground seemed fairly new and there was a covered shelter right next to the playground. The park had clean bathrooms as well. The parking lot was pretty small and a lot of people parked on the grass alongside the road.

This park was perfect for my 18 month old niece! It's a small park, which is what we were looking for since we only had 40 minutes to play. It has 2 swings for toddlers, 2 swings for kids and 3 separate jungle gyms with steps and slides. The jungle gyms were setup for toddlers, then small kids and one for larger kids. My niece loved the swings and the slides. It also was not crowded, but we went on a Thursday. If you have a small toddler or child, I highly recommend this park !!! We will be going back!

We love this park. Great for all ages and disability friendly equipment Great for adults to relax at the lake bench or enjoy the fitness path with equipment! They have recently added another covered pavilion so they now have two plus there is a grill. I also forgot to add the basketball court (3 hoops) two gazebos the lake and Pinellas trail is right there as well. With restrooms and water stations (extra perk refill your h20 bottle station and doggie bag stations and a doggie water fountain.a couple uncovered benches and a nice size open field.
