👍👍 One of the BEST experiences I’ve ever had at a coffee shop. The owner was incredibly kind to my friend and I. He gave us such a wonderful service. He welcomed us, brought the food to the table, and then brought me a coffee on the house. I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich on rye. It was delicious.... If you are happy with Starbucks level of coffee, this is your place! (Trying not to yuck your yum). If you are expecting craft coffee, and at these prices I wouldn’t blame you, I have a pro-tip: When you arrive here, get back in your mode of transport and head west another 3 minutes to Two-Kids Coffee. I gave three stars for the cinnamon roll which was expensive for the size but good! Nice location to hang out though…

One of the BEST experiences I’ve ever had at a coffee shop. The owner was incredibly kind to my friend and I. He gave us such a wonderful service. He welcomed us, brought the food to the table, and then brought me a coffee on the house. I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich on rye. It was delicious. And the cinnamon role was homemade. It wasn’t too sweet. It was just right. You can tell it was made from scratch. On the way out, the owner asked my friend (who is in a wheelchair), if the restroom was acceptable. She said it was perfect, much better than other places she’d been where she couldn’t reach the essentials. It meant the world to me as accessibility is so important to us. What a lovely place!!!

This is a welcome addition to the area... I am there every week at my chiropractor down the street and always looking for a nice little snack and good quality coffee afterwards. Julienne's was always my go-to but they've changed their model and hours and frankly quality so many times, I was on the lookout for somewhere new. Apsara was recommended by the antique dealer down the street who sang the praises of the owner who roasts his own coffee beans and fresh bakes his own pastries and bakery items..... I was not disappointed. Great atmosphere, roll open glass walls. The cortado espresso was delicious, the owner and his wife her friendly and enthusiastic, the curry egg salad sandwich was inspired and delicious and the fresh scone and pecan roll were worth every penny! The spinach lentil soup was delicious too, touch of curry, needed just a bit of salt but otheriwse great. I look forward to returning and exploring the menu further....

Came here because it had great reviews. There was a long wait to get our food. Then they brought us the wrong order. When we did get our food, the tater tots were still frozen. We ordered a cinnamon roll and they brought us a maple roll. We also had to go back and ask for utensils. Looking past all of that, the food was fine. Nothing special. The only positive was the view from inside the restaurant.

This is a great coffee shop with a comfy vibe. I had a coffee and a Turkey sandwich. Both tasted great. The coffee had great flavor and the sandwich was like home made but tastier. Also, the place was clean and customer service was great too. So overall, a big yes to let others know that this coffee shop is a great place to hang out or to grab a quick mojo. But for the hungry, there’s something there for you too. Enjoy!

Amazing service. Ethan helped me choose what sandwich to get and he made it himself with extra extra white mayo. Food also very good not sure about the prices though.

Just enjoyed my second time at Apsara Coffee today! The cappucino with frothed oat milk and the brewed coffee is delicious. The service is excellent from both staff and the owner, Raju. I adore the daily home baked banana bread which has the perfect sweetness. Also, the home made lentil soup seasoned with roots used in Asian cuisines was tasty and nutritious. BRAVO!

Staff super friendly. My latte was amazing but the best part was the delicious gluten free chocolate banana bread! Out of this world!

These ratings are extremely misleading! We got a few pastries, latte and matcha and they were all so bad we ended up leaving. I understand it’s not a bakery place (although pastries were days old and had no taste) so I thought - let me try the coffee because it surely must be better. And - nope! It was horrendous. It was burnt and flat. The owner might be kind but the food is terrible, I am sorry not sorry. I made a note to myself to never come back there are much better options in the area

The brew coffee was reasonable price. However, it's so tasteless that I thought it was a mistake that I got a cup of hot water. Nice outside seating and location.

It's a small coffee shop in South pasadena. It is located in a high-end area. I ordered a matcha latte, but compared to Urth Cafe, these ones taste more like coffee bean matcha. A pre mix of sugars and matcha with milk. Not much of my liking. It has a variety of food items to choose from so give it a try.

I really really wanted to like this place. First trip - good service, drinks were okay. Second trip - waiting at the counter for quite a while while the two associates were chatting in the back room. Had to say hello a few times loudly to get someone’s attention as I thought they might have been closed. After that ordered a mocha, probably the worst mocha I have ever had in my life. It’s a shame bc this place has so much potential. Hitting the mark

Super friendly people who I think work here because they enjoy it. It's a coffee shop with live music on Saturdays. Little known secret you MUST try: Rice dish of the day. It keeps me coming back.

So I’ve been on the hunt for years, for a local coffee shop that’s made me want to come back. By far, this place has won me over. The staff is so incredibly friendly and genuine. I’ve been in twice now for a matcha latte. It was delicious and I can’t wait to meet more staff! Thank you for checking all the boxes. The matcha is delicious, but I think I’d prob come back even if it wasn’t, just bc of how awesome and warm the staff is! Def a must try

A really quaint cafe; wonderful coffee and fresh pastries! The coffees and pastries (made on-site) here are so much better than the usual chains. The cinnamon rolls first thing in the am are amazing! Indoor and outdoor seating and live music in the late afternoons too. Extremely friendly service. The lunch menu looks very tasty - will have to try them soon as well…

Hidden gem. Staff incredibly thoughtful, kind and thorough. Egg and potato omelette was delicious. Nice selection of breakfast and lunch items and they just got their liquor license. The environment is beautiful and modern, a comfortable place to work (limited outlets). They haven’t been open long so if you enjoy a quiet atmosphere - definitely come before everyone finds out about it! Highly recommend

Wifey and I tried Apsara this morning for the first time. Now that is what a cappuccino should taste like. Nice people, too. Highly recommend.

I bought a pound of the Sumatra - Queen Ketiara organic coffee and it is delicious. No bitterness and you can taste the rich coffee flavor. Highly recommend it!! Excellent customer service!!

Relatively new coffee shop in San Mario that's been missing. Lovely space friendly staff with decent coffee and pastries. I hope they succeed. Great place to work or chat with an old friend.

The coffee was wonderful. The service was excellent as well, and they had some wonderful cherry scones that make me want to return for more as soon as tomorrow.

Their coffee is certified organic and their drinks and foods never disappoint. Their coffee is delicious and smooth, no unpleasant aftertaste. Their pastries are so fresh and so good, not overly sweet. They also have unique South Asian flavors like pandan cake. Their food options seem to be expanding. They have sandwiches, soups, and salad with South Asian touches in flavor. I like that that also have live music and provide comfortable space to just chill, work on stuff, hang out, etc. Such a great community oriented coffee shop with high qualify coffee 👍🏼
