I became mom to a precious 2 1/2 pound shihtzu puppy---little Ms CoKa Jo--in January of 2021. She came to me via plane from South Dakota. The first vet I took her to gave her 2 vaccines at one time when she was 4 months and 4 pounds old. This caused her to have an intestinal intussusception, which resulted in her having to have major surgery. The second vet did not want to listen when I told him that I did not want her to ever have another Rabies shot, as it was pretty much determined that this is what caused the intussusception, with his response being - "It's the LAW". Dr Smith at Bay Road completely understood why she did not need to have another Rabies shot, and said that all he would need to do is to write a letter for her file, and for me to have if I needed to travel with her, as the chances of her getting rabies were probably 1 to 99, if not less. You can tell that he and his staff really care about the animals that they see. My CoKa Jo loves going there, even though she has been poked and prodded, and had to be spayed, her little tail starts wagging when we pull into the parking lot. She goes in and has to say Hi to everyone. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a caring, loving vet. Sharon Morgan

Professional and organized care for my cats swollen leg. Dr. Tasjian ascertained the unusual problem and was quick to get back to me with detailed explanation. All the techs were very caring and concerned. We are onto recovery.

This visit was our new puppy visit. Dr. Smith and his staff couldn’t have been more pleasant and caring. Dr. Smith took so much time with us, explaining all that was going on, what to expect, etc. We feel lucky we’ve found such a great new caregiver for our new pup! As an aside, Bay Road also put our older, sick dog to sleep back in March. Although these were 2 totally different kinds of visits, again the staff was so very compassionate when we lost Lexie. I highly recommend them for pups, older dogs, AND parents!!

I was a client 15 years ago. My Golden Retriever's passed on. Back in April I decided enough time has passed and purchased a new puppy. Back all those years ago they were great. It's safe to say they haven't skipped a beat. They not only meet my expectations they exceeded them. Thank you !

This was my first visit to Bay Road Animal Hospital and I was very happy with the care my hound dog received. The staff were friendly, and made me feel welcome. Our appointment at Bay Road Animal Hospital was wonderful- especially getting to go into the examination room after a 3-year hiatus! Dr. Rosenberry was delicious- her treatment of Boris was terrific and her 2 assistants seemed quite happy with their work. The environment is a happy high energy place- you will be pleased with the front office and medical side of the business.

I cannot praise Dr Tisdale enough. It is an absolute blessing to deal with Veterinarians who truly put their patients first. Opening my emails in the morning to see that my pet’s Dr was working the case well after hours only confirms my belief that my pets are getting THE BEST care available.

Love these people. After years of taking my dog to another vet I felt like a change was due for many reasons. I called and scheduled an appointment. I could not believe the things they checked her for that she had never been checked before.Plus the charges were less than I expected. Later she needed a allergy shot. I called for an appointment and was told it was not necessary, just bring her in. We were in and out in 10 minutes. what great service and great people THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERY THING

I had been looking for a veterinarian for my umbrella cockatoo. I lucked out! The staff was was friendly and knowledgeable. The whole office was fresh and clean. Dr. Smith was amazing! He gave me a lot of good ideas and a print out for a balanced diet. He was gentle and caring with my bird. I couldn’t have asked for better! Thank you Dr. Smith and staff.

We highly recommend Bay Road Animal Hospital! We brought our dog in, and he received excellent care from the diagnosis to the treatment. Our options were explained, and after we left the appointment, we received a detailed explanation of everything that was examined along with the results. We will definitely go back if the need arises.

This was the closest place to me that could do an autopsy on my deceased budgie Cobalt. The staff was so incredibly kind and even gave me a tiny vial to put some of my budgies feathers in and his footprints in clay :’) I got my budgies autopsy results after a week and the vet was able to prescribe the rest of my birds medicine asap. I really appreciate how thoughtful and helpful the staff and avian vet is.

Took our new rescue pup to Bay Road Animal Hospital for a checkup and information on heartworms because our little one is positive. Dr Smith and the staff took the time to explain the treatment process and expectations going forward. They never made us feel rushed or uncomfortable with asking all types of questions from food, to medications and overall pet care. Nice to find a Vet and staff that really seem to enjoy and care for your pets!

I am very pleased! Everyone is friendly, attentive, understanding, and helpful. I feel like I was listened to and my concerns were addressed, which included a willingness to discuss differential diagnosis and the pros and cons of various treatment options. I was readily able to get an appointment when needed. Fees are very reasonable. I have have been referring friends and family to Bay Road Animal Hospital.

This is a great vet practice and all the people there are friendly and professional. They have done a great job with all our dogs. Most recently we got a new puppy and had a first visit appointment set. But the puppy was sick and stopped eating and they were able squeeze our puppy in on a busy day. The care they provided did wonders for our puppy and we greatly appreciate it.

I cannot say enough good things about Bay Road Animal Hospital and the amazing care that Dr. Tashjian has provided for my two beloved dogs, Coda and Kyla. Both of my dogs have been seeing Dr. Tashjian for years, and I have never been anything but impressed with her knowledge, expertise, and genuine compassion for animals. Kyla, unfortunately, had heartworm a few years ago, and Dr. Tashjian went above and beyond to ensure that she received the best possible treatment and care. Her guidance and support during this difficult time were truly invaluable, and I credit her with helping Kyla make a full recovery. Coda, on the other hand, has had numerous health problems over the years, from allergies to heart disease. But thanks to Dr. Tashjian's expert care, he is thriving and living his best life. I cannot thank her enough for all that she has done to keep him healthy and happy. In addition to her exceptional medical skills, Dr. Tashjian is also an incredibly caring and compassionate veterinarian who truly loves animals. She always takes the time to listen to my concerns and answer any questions I have, and I never feel rushed during our appointments. Lastly, I must mention the pet membership club offered by Bay Road Animal Hospital. This is an amazing service that I highly recommend to any pet owner. For a reasonable annual fee, you can enjoy unlimited exams for the year, which is an incredible value. This has allowed me to take my pets to the vet as often as needed without worrying about the cost, and I feel that it is well worth the money. If you are looking for a knowledgeable, caring, and skilled veterinarian who will treat your pets like family, then Bay Road Animal Hospital and Dr. Tashjian are the perfect choice. I've been bringing my dog Marley here for over 10 years. Dr. Rosenberry and her team have always been very professional, kind, and genuine. They do not try and oversell products, and his online chart makes it easy to get reminders of upcoming vaccines or appointments. Marley is 15 now, and visits to the vet are becoming more frequent, so I appreciate how I am treated with compassion and how quickly they follow up with results.

These people are the best! They squeezed us in with my dog Riley and took the utmost care to diagnose him, treat him, and care for him. They followed up with more information and checking in to see how he was doing. They really care! 5 stars in my book.

I just moved to the area and had to switch to a closer vet. I am beyond happy with my decision thus far. My cat had her first annual follow up this week and the appointment went great. Staff is all very friendly and is a clean environment. I had some follow up questions and received responses fairly quickly. So far I am very happy!

I'd adopted a kitten from hssc. Unfortunately he had several problems. The ladies at Bay Road got us in quickly and vet was awesome. She took her time and answered all my questions. I would highly recommend them!

Dr. Rosenberry is the most extraordinary vet. She literally saved my dog's life, and she and her team treated Maggie with the utmost of compassion. Maggie has been seeing Dr. Rosenberry for 10 years, and now maybe there'll be another 10!

I have had the pleasure of one of my cats seeing 3 of the 4 veterinarians at the 17th and Honore Rd office (Three different office visits). They are professional, kind, considerate, loving toward not just my cat but me as well, thorough in testing as well as explanations. I say this for not just the veterinarians but the technicians and front office staff as well. I have never had a veterinarian actually call to see how my cat is doing until 9/14/22. Thank you Dr Tisdale! Honestly, I don't think anyone could go wrong with this veterinary practice. They truly care.

Excellent staff from the time we arrived. Dr. Smith was extremely helpful and kind and explained everything about our pets problem. He took the time to prepare the medication we needed and explained how to give it to our pet. Everyone was so helpfully and considerate. The pricing is extremely affordable. We will recommend Dr Smith and his staff to all our friends. They really treat you like family. We thank them so very much .
