We had the opportunity to try out Roam Restaurant & Bar on Friday and little did we know how much of a treat we were in for. They are new but did NOT miss a beat. A special shout-out to our server Vanessa. Every recommendation that she made was perfect. Not going to lie, outside of my own wings these were the best I EVER had. So good, I had to order some more to go! 😂 The pastas we’re great, and large portions. The garlic shrimp, those were spot on! It was like a St. Pete garlic tray, right out the south side spots lol. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the music also. It went well with the drinks. Only thing that was a downside (my own decision as I’m greedy and don’t get full often lol) is that I left still hungry. Their lamb chops were very tender and flavorful just wish they were a little bit bigger. But everything else… 5 ⭐️ Next time I go back definitely looking forward to getting more wings and maybe the burger or steak next time.

The atmosphere and food were both perfect. The wait staff was wonderful, friendly, on top of things, and made the atmosphere cozy and comfortable. The meals were well priced and huge! We ordered an appetizer of the truffle fries and then the Julius salad, Mac and cheese (side), and the salmon and risotto. Everything was well seasoned and delicious. We tried several cocktails and they were all great! We will definitely be back!

OMG! I am overjoyed that St. Pete has a quaint be upscale Black owned restaurant! We frequent many a restaurant’s especially for celebrations, however my sister was adamant about having her “surprise” birthday dinner at Roams. I was not disappointed. Better than Ruth Chris and comparable to Salt Rock. The appetizers were fabulous and fresh. The owners were both charming and welcoming! We will continue to support! 👏🏾

Heard about this place from Facebook and told my husband we should check it out tonight. We accidently drove by it at first, but it's located off US19 next to Candlelight Inn. When you walk up it's got a nice little red carpet leading up to the door. I like that you can't see inside the restaurant cause it was a nice small & cozy surprise! The atmosphere was modern with great music and a wonderful welcoming staff. Our waitress was Tina who had a smile on her face the whole time and was always on top of things. We even got to meet the owners, Christian & Joshua, who were so kind and a joy to talk with. The food here was NEXT LEVEL! My husband had the Candied Wings, Burger & Parmesan Fries. I got the Prime NY Strip Steak with Garlic Butter Shrimp. Everything was perfectly cooked & seasoned. It was the best steak I've had in this area & my husband said it was the best burger he has ever had! Honestly the whole experience from beginning to end was so good and we will definitely be coming back with our friends and family!

We were looking for fine dining and saw this place had great reviews. I was a little shocked when we arrived to see there are about 10 tables with plastic chairs at some and a bar. I had ordered a salad and asked about it a few times within 20 min of ordering it. Misunderstanding she thought i wanted it with my meal. It was not the experience we hoped for exactly but the chef made an amazing NY strip! Lots of flavor and seasoned perfect. One other issue I had was the bill had higher prices on a few things that were lower on the menus. Server said she would mention it to the manager but never did. I would have just given her the extra money on her tip. Btw... there is an automatic 18% gratuity. Not a big deal to me but did not realize it.

Nice quaint spot. The food was good when it finally came out. The waitress had a hard time getting our order and drinks right and didn’t give us enough silverware or water. Hopefully next time will be better.

Incredibly delicious, welcoming, lovely LOCALLY OWNED restaurant! We planned to have a chill day at home and order take out, but after I saw the amazing reviews and delicious menu, we decided to make a lunch reservation and come in. So glad we did! It’s an upscale yet chill setting with good music, smiling faces, amazing service but the most important: 10/10 food. We both had a medium rare NY strip, and then shared the busted potatoes, garlic shrimp and cheese gritz. Plenty left to feed us for another two meals each and we left happy and full. Give this place a try & I promise you’ll be planning your next visit! Ty for the awesome service and awesome food.

The food and waitress are amazing!! The manager/owners not so much. I came out for the snow crabs special they have every Wednesday and mind you I brought half of the people that were in the restaurant with me. So after being there for about an hour. The waiter tell us they are out of snow crabs. We were like WOW!!. So this young lady walk in and sit to the bar. One of the managers comes out to greet her and chat with her for bit. After he talk with her for bit. He brings her a plate of snow crabs out. After we were told they were OUT😡 I won’t come back to this restaurant again I don’t care how good the food is

My wife and I came here to celebrate a promotion. Don't let the exterior fool you. This place is fantastic. We were greeted and helped by Vanessa. She was fantastic. She provided excellent service start to finish. The food was great. We had the tomahawk steak, Mac and cheese, green beans, garlic bread and martinis. Everything was great. I will definitely come back!

I will start off by saying the hostess and waiter where very professional, attentive and polite. The food delicious and on level of FINE DINING. The atmosphere is cozy, pleasant and the music soft for ears. The chef's came out to ensure we were happy with the dinner. I gave them a five-star because of the Food, Price, Atmosphere and Owners displaying and setting a excellent example of Fine Dining and how Black Owned Business deliver services in the St. Petersburg area. i wish much success for the owner and the business. Amazing food! Feels very intimate and cozy in the best way. Don’t let the location fool ya, this is going to be everyone’s favorite hidden gem soon! ✨

What a wonderful meal! I was a little apprehensive due to the location but, no need to worry. Our server was AMAZING, very knowledgeable, very nice, and quick. Started with 2 types of oysters, fried and baked, super sweet and cooked perfect. The sauce the shrimp comes in is soo yummy, get extra bread for dipping. Cajun Ribeye was spot on temp and flavor. Lamb Chops were a tad small but, packed full of flavor. Only item I didn't like was the Lobster Mac and Cheese. Just too rich for me but, others at the table loved it. Got 2 desserts and both were excellent. NO BOOZE, just beer and wine so keep that in mind.

Don’t get sketched out when arriving to this location, it’s adjacent to the candlelight inn. Upon arrival, we were taken back by the red carpet (we thought we were walking into a club). Once inside, we were greeted warmly by our server who was friendly and attentive. Our food came at a reasonable time and it blew us away. There was so much flavor and you can tell the chef put his heart and soul into the meal. We only went for brunch, but can’t wait to go back for dinner next time! Also, the music choice was spot on!

Absolutely fabulous dinner at Roam Steakhouse last night. The service was excellent as well. Do not pass up the chargrilled oysters, or the augratin potatoes, or the salmon, pasta or any of the steaks...basically, everything we ordered was perfection. Can't wait to go back! Be sure to make a reservation because the dining area is small, but don't miss out on a meal here. You will not be disappointed.

Stopped in and had dinner with a dear friend last night and we we’re welcomed seated and treated with the the upmost hospitality. Roams is intimate, grown & sexy, and the music is a vibe! Tina took care of me at the bar. I ordered a few cocktails but the “cab martini” made a great impression on me. We ordered for dinner chargrilled oysters which is 20/10 (HIGHLY RECOMMEND!), Lamb chops and wings. Everything was tasty and GREAT! This will for sure be my new happy hour after work. You have a returning guest :) Ask for Tina when you stop by ROAMS.

We pulled into the parking lot and almost pulled out because it’s located in a motel parking lot… BUT I am sooo freaking glad we did not! The food was so amazing! Best flavors of any restaurant around here that we’ve tried. This food is fine Dining quality. This is a must try!!! I can’t wait to come back. We had the tomahawk steak, snow crab!! Drinks were amazing!

Had an amazing experience, the food was beyond good, so well seasoned. My daughter literally repeated so many times how good the wings were that i had to pass the message to the chef. I beleive it is a small, family owned spot so it does take a bit for the food to come out. Outside of that, i dont have a single complaint. Btw, the food is hot and fresh so i would say worth the wait. The parking however, is terrible but it is a shared parking lot so i didnt want to dock them any stars for something they may not be able to control. If you can, please do something about the parking, it can be a bit discouraging when you have to keep circling the place.

Incredibly pleased and impressed. Being quite well rounded, extremely particular, and well traveled I would happily say what the Chef delivered was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Be open minded to the location, but you won’t regret it. Customer service, and extensive attention to key ingredients was perfect. 9/10

Amazing dinner at Roam! Everything we ordered was delicious and can't wait to go back for more. Vanessa was a rockstar!! She ran a full house without missing a beat. Make a reservation because it fills up fast.

The atmosphere was very cozy. The service was excellent. The food was delicious. Very small and never noticed it was there even though I drove by there almost every week. Read about it in I Love St. Pete Facebook group. I highly recommend this hidden gem. Second visit was even better than the first. The food was delicious. The staff is very friendly and kind. It's very comfortable to sit in there.

Dining at Roam Steakhouse is like having your own private chef and staff. Every time, the food is superb and the staff goes above and beyond! I have not only recommended my friends, I bring them here too! Btw, My favorites are the candy wings, crab clusters, steak and salmon!

Food was awesome! All around for our party of 3 - awesome. Venue is ok, not special, but new and working on it. However, intimate, cozy, and nice music abounds. Wednesday night specials. Somehow the total on the menu doesn't equal out to the digital device brought to the table. It was odd at the end.

A hidden gem! I came across this restaurant while ROAMING on Google. For great places to eat. Everything was great! My husband ordered the Salmon dinner. Everything on his plate just went so well together. I picked the Buffalo chicken. Crispy just the way I like!! Mac and cheese was hot and cheeseeeee. CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK! Definitely recommend. Don't let the motel discourage your decision on giving your taste bud's something to talk about.
