Worst customer service experience ever! Cashier was from another country, name started with an M, can’t pronounce it.was extremely rude, loud and argumentative over trying to ask for change for my friend after I made a purchase with cash. She was not understanding what we were asking and telling us something different that was not what were asking about. I finally said STOP, you’re not understanding what we’re asking and she continue to loudly argue. Also, asked for price on a pair of socks that the tag said a 2 pack, she said tag was wrong, ripped it off and gave me a price for the pair of socks. I’ve never ever had a cashier continually argue and not stop when asked too. Apparently after calling the store to make a complaint, cashier aren’t supposed to make change other than a purchase transaction. The cashier could have politely said we can’t make change instead of arguing and being rude for several minutes. Other clerks were nice and helpful.

Zero stars if possible! Manager is VERY rude to customers who were there checking out 20 min before the store closed and didn’t mince any words letting me know just how much my business was putting her out!! I spent a $725 there too so it was not chump change! Because she was so rude I am returning every single thing I purchased! The other employees were pleasant and seemed to be embarrassed by her horrific customer service— not even customer service but social skills in general! The store is a disorganized mess too!! I will never return and will be letting the headquarters know about my experience!

Good selection of clothes, everyone was polite and asked if we needed help. It was too busy, but the women's fitting room had a line.

I used to be a frequent shopper at Belk. Today, after being ignored by the woman in the beauty department (because she was chatting away- NOT because she was working hard) I was then told that I wasn't allowed to walk away with the product I chose. This was a face wash product, on an open shelf. It didn't sit well with me, but I told her no problem, I had some stuff to try on anyway, and she offered to bring it over to the register for me. While I was trying on clothes, it continued to simmer with me how odd it was that I wasn't allowed to walk away with a product that was sitting out on an open shelf. I decided to ask one of the cashiers if that was a store policy. Not only did she not actually bring my product, but that's not a policy. So I waited several minutes for a manager to explain to me why that happened. She took all of 30 seconds to explain to me that it's because the woman wanted to make sure she got her commission. She wasn't even done with her explanation before she walked away to answer her cellphone. This was a terrible customer experience all around. I put back the cocktail dress and two bathing suit I planned to purchase and walked out of the store. It is very highly likely that I will never be back. That's what I really came here to say, but on another note, the store is filthy now and disorganized. It's really gone downhill. It seems to me like the manager cares about as much about the appearance of her store as she does the happiness of her customers.

This store is one of my fav stores and I come to this store 4-5 times a week some days twice!! Great people great prices! However I ran into something today that I’ve never experienced it before! Tonight when the cashier checked me out of my little item. I told her I don’t need a bag (the bag was huge) and she told me no it’s the store policy! I had the receipt in my hand and I was going to leave the store right after! What type of joke is that!!! The lady was rude and forced me to take the bag.. I would like to know where does it say that this is the policy of Belk store? and if it is why this company wasting bags and force people to take their bags… it doesn’t make any sense!! I did not feel welcome and comfortable! I come here so often never ran into a small stupid problem like this.

Horrible. I was so shocked to find out my Belk store became an outlet. It is crammed full of winter coats, jackets, sweaters, and long sleeve shirts. We live in Florida. No capris, no swimsuits, just basically garbage. Never going back and closest Belk store to me now is 40.1 miles away so at least an hour here. So sad. Used to love it more than Kohls and Bealls. Will not be driving 40 miles on Florida expressways to get there. Everyone walking out of your outlet told us to turn around. Sorry I wasted 45 minutes in there trying to find something. Prices were also only about 10% off - not as good as store sales. Big disappointment.

I went to exchange a nutcracker that I had bought on line at Belk’s that was broken. Phyllis’s (007862) was amazing. Very professional and did the exchange for the same price I bought it on line for. I will be back.

Good stock with always good deals. Although the store is kinda dirty and unorganized. But the staff are always nice and helpful. I recommend coming here if you want good deal while still having quality clothing. They also have a good rewards program to. Overall good clothing/item store will be back.

Immature, rude and ignorant store employee. Didn't catch name but she worked directly at the entrance with the cologne and perfume. was a plus sized African American women probably in late 20s. Most uncomfortable experience i've had with a employee. unbelievable don't go here.

The Belk stores in North Carolina are way better. I have had continuous bad experiences at this Belk location and I don’t want to come back.

I used to love shopping at Belk. Now it looks like the '80s threw up in there. Poor quality, out of style, ugly clothes. I want my old Belk back!

Great if you are looking for winter clothes but otherwise it's not worth going to. My husband and I walked around the entire store and it's just depressing.

They changed this Belk to a Belk outlet and WOWWWWW. It's like Bealls outlet on steroids, with lots of designer items and tons of clothing, shoes, ND accessories. Even for plus size women! Tons!

Lol. For your safety… you cannot wash your hands in the bathroom! Amazing how we use safety for everything now. No water in the bathroom for your safety. Explain that one?

Limited selection, you have to download their app to see prices for items, items are way over priced. Don't waste your time.

I love going to Belk especially when they have their super sales. You really can get some nice things for a reasonable price.

As a younger person I really don't shop at Belks. This location deserves 5 stars because of the lady in the women's department. She was so friendly.

Good place to go to whether your killing a few hours or looking for something specific. The store is nice but it feels cluttered and very tight in most places. The staff is extremely nice and they all check on you to see if there’s something specific your looking for or if your looking for a unique find.

Ask me the best thing about this store? They carry big men's clothing. Nice selection. Seems like reasonable prices. I was actually looking for Spring blankets, light weight stuff. They had plenty but most weren't priced. No help was around. Guess I'll go to Macy's or Dillard's. Not sure it will be better there. The store is clean and orderly. I miss the old days when stores had good knowledgeable help and were available. Seems today, the best place to shop is Amazon or Costco. No fake expectations.

Just started shopping here last year ! Quality products for amazing prices. Found a quilt on kohls website for $200 googles and found at Belk for $55 !! Great deal for the same exact product

On the plus side, they have a decent selection of shoes, bedding, cookware, and small appliances. Many times, the Belk app will save a bit. On the down side, the clothes prices are high, and the choices are - in my opinion - not very up to date.
