I must say that I was excited to discover this quaint place, until I realize that I would have an issue with a credit card charge. I was notified by my credit card company that an extra charge appeared on my card so I dealt with it, but trying to go to the bar to have a conversation with the current owner was not as productive as I hoped it would be, because he was rude, belligerent, nasty and unprofessional. Avoid the bartender Jen, she is rude, doesn’t have a good attitude and she is the person who was involved in my CC incident. Otherwise go and potentially enjoy yourself….

Small town bar feel. Great company, 3 pool tables, friendly staff, dance floor and dart boards. Not a fan of the smoking personally, but if it was (non smoking) I'd visit several times a week! Definitely give my my Thumbs UP to Muggs Pub!

Great place to go fun atmosphere the bartender was fast to serve you. I like the many dart and pooltables. They have sport memorabilia on the wall specifically my favorite nfl team the Pat's. Pool tables were clean. They have alot of dart trophys hanging up. The beer selection was great. I had the goose ipa's.

Loud music couldn’t think but great music was playing definitely would of loved it if I was a-little more inebriated lol. Overall nice set up two pool tables friendly staff it’s a neighborhood bar for sure. And no weird vibes if you have never been there before either. Would of been nice if I had some chicken wings I honestly don’t know if they cook I didn’t see a kitchen. If your thirsty and need a beer under 5 bucks that’s a good spot. Cheers save travels.

Interesting place and nice bartender. It was her birthday when I visited. Only problem for me is its smoking. That's a deal breaker for the future. Sorry!

Mugs Pub is a great place to enjoy so cold beers, friendly staff and people watch till your heart is content! Love this place and enjoy stopping in and hanging out with fun people!

We love this place and frequently go here. It's a small local pub where many of us know each other. Bartenders are very friendly as well as the people that go here. We also like that politics are left at the door. If you're looking for a local pub to have a beer 🍻 or cocktail to unwind or just meet new local people, this is the place. They also have bingo on certain days as well as Steak Shoot. Cheers 🥂🍹🍺

Great atmosphere and great people!

They have free pizza on Fridays starting at 5pm and on Sundays the owners cook food and bring it in.

Best dive bar in Melbourne! Cool bartenders, great for watching sports. Has dart boards too!

Extremely smoky all the time. The drinks are cheap, free pool every day till 7 and every Monday night. Stacy is awesome to talk to on the weekends if you stop by for a beer during the day.

YAY! Nice little bar with SMOKING ALLOWED! The place was clean and quiet. Full liquor bar and some slot-type machine games. I'm so glad we stopped in!

Great bar (for your local hole in the wall) nice people and it's great that you can still smoke inside. I'm a non smoker but can appreciate a bar that still lets you smoke inside.

I'm in my 20s and the music here is too loud. My friend has severe hearing loss from the military and it was obnoxiously loud for him. Only go here if you are deaf.
